Their chaat is one of the best chaats in Christchurch. And the service is always good. Prices are still reasonable, most importantly the food quality was really impressive. It’s a must try for people who miss Bombay food! ♥️

If u want to try good Indian food I will definitely recommend this place. For all Aucklanders please don't judge this placed based on ur experience from Auckland shop it much much better. The taste was awesome.

Went on a HOT busy lunch period, the restaurnt was a nice temperture indside, the food come out quick considering how busy it was, my parnter had the Indo Chinese Veg stirfy and loved it, its simple but well cooked and presented nicely. I had the South Indian platter, it was a great experience as its very authentic so i had things i never had before, like this savory dount that you tip in sauces, and what i think was some kind of coconut bread that was also nice and moist, the Dosa was amazing , very striking flavours that you dont get from you run of the mill Indian restarant in New Zealand at least, it really felt authentic, not changed for westen tastes but really how it is in India. We also had ours vegan with no trouble, alot of choice for Vegans! There is so much stuff i cant wait to get back to try including the Pani Puri i spotted coming out to another table . And still to enquire about the amazing looking sweets that full the cabinets unpon entry.

Changing my previous review from 5* to 3*. This place has now become far too expensive whilst also reducing portion size. $16 for chilli paneer and I only got 4 pieces of paneer.

The best Indian food and sweets in Chch. Authentic hygienic and well prepared.
Thought I’ve been to Bikanirwala nearly 100 times since I’ve moved to Chch last year, today I feel compelled to leave a great review.
Normally we have a Rajdhani thali - a luxurious meal (enough for two) with many dishes, two snack items, a drink and an amazing sweet (rasmalai yumm!!)
Today as part of Onam celebrations they had a Onam Sadya. Though not a full fledged Kerala Sadya, every item was so good and authentic that it left us feeling full and nostalgic.
Our sincere thanks to the chefs and staff at Bikanirwala. Keep up the good food and service guys! We will keep coming back for more.

Best from Rest!! We came for lunch and had veg Manchurian and Hakka noodles. We also tried Vada Pav for the first time and they gave proper justice to the street food. Good customer service and Thanks we will be back .
