Best burger joint in Christchurch! Drive thru has a bit of a wait but I really don't mind waiting for really tastey and hot food. Have been here loads of times and the consistency is amazing. Hadn't tried the beef but chicken is spot on every time!!! Chips are always hot and perfectly seasoned.

Fantastic burger, great location, heaps of seating very friendly staff, the banana flake milk shake was very nice, hard to beat a good tasting burger the fills you up. Would definitely recommend to all

The staff are friendly and do their best, but they seem to be perpetually under staffed, one or two people serving a large queue, and two chefs out back cooking, when I arrived i was third in the queue but it still took almost 5 minutes to be served, meanwhile the orders screen was steadily turning red (indicating >4mins), one table had been waiting 15 minutes for their order, their burgers could be seen in the warmer, but because both front staff were busy taking till and drive through orders the table waited another 3 or so minutes to receive, I've been waiting about 20 minutes now to get my meal, the screen now has 8 red orders ranging from me down to 8 minutes of wait time. Their specialty burgers are always fantastic, but the routine burgers can be a little mundane, fries always hot and crispy, this isn't a place to come for lunch if you don't have an hour up your sleeve... fast food it is not.

Best local fast food restaurant at peak times due to being relatively unknown. That keeps wait times low and they're always making to order. Weird because it kills McDonalds and Burger King, and is better than the Wendy's across the road. Try the Oreo shake.

I loved the double cheeseburger I got there. Don't worry about proportions, I'm a picky eater and even I enjoyed net having to specify a burger without mustard powder, or tomato sauce or anything. Loved it!

I love this place. I wish I discovered it earlier! They have delicious vege burger for $9.60 and it's a good size burger and is enough for me to get full😋 There's parking outside (not huge but there's always available spot). Staff is friendly. Chicken burgers are also good (my partner loves them) and they have sauses and tissues on each table which is so convenient! We love to eat inside, good tables. There's one high chair available.

Food is always hot and tasty. Staff are quite pleasant. Takes a wee while to make your order but definitely worth the wait compared to competitors. The kumara fries with the bacon and sauce are the best thing ever! Also, they have decent $10 meal deals available too. When dining in the restaurant has usually been very clean and tidy.

In simple summary: It's what McDonald's should be with really sexist advertising. Decent burgers, disappointing shakes (don't do it, they haven't been the same since the whipped cream left). If you're after quick, and greasy this is my recommendation.

Delicious!! Way better than Mc Ds, and on equal footing with Burger Bro's. The staff are friendly and polite but need to move it a bit more and work as a well oiled team to get the food out quickly. Management need to stop worrying about margins and get more staff in, otherwise people will avoid the place and you won't have margins.

Awesome burgers, almost ate the wrapping as I madly ate it as didn't want to stop. Perfect place for those who want a real burger without the rabbit food spoiling it. Service was mean as too so made it a great place for lunch.

The burgers taste pretty good and they have a few unique menu items that you can't get anywhere else. Be weary of the drive through speaker as it wasn't in an obvious location last time I went. More expensive than most fast food joints and the service is slightly slower.

First time I've been to a Carl's jr . Food wasnt bad. The service on the other hand could do with some work. There was one guy serving whilst trying to get previous customers orders done . Might I mention the place was steady . The guy serving seemed a bit flustered by how many orders he had to do and the line (which was getting bigger) of customers he had to serve. Far to much for him to do on his own .Took a while for our food to come to us. Other than that I believe it was on ohkay experience.

Brilliant! Loads of car parking and amazing customer service. We had some special requests and nothing was a problem. Very accommodating and all round awesome experience! We're definitely coming back but you need to open one on the east side of the city because both your Christchurch restaurants are over on the west side which means we can't enjoy your food as often as we'd like lolz

The long wait in the queue is ridiculous, we have watched 8 cars give up and drive away. We have sat here 30 minutes now... 45 minutes and finally we were offered free shakes, staff very pleasant but they have closed the doors after running out of items. Great, apologetic, calm staff but who screwed up for this to happen 9pm Friday night???

A better view would be hard to find, The hilltop Tavern is a great pitstop for a refreshing break to take in the magnificent Banks peninsular before hitting the road again to drive through this picture postcard land and sea escape 👌😎👍
