Food is divine and didn't wait long considering our big order for 11 people. 1 Chef only and suggested another platter to save me money. Fish bowls are devine not to mention a good Shisha. Thankyou recommend this place. Big ups from me.

Absolutely delicious and yummm. I would have rate it 10 stars if possible. Best ever Persian food I had for ages. Even better than top restaurants in Iran. The ingredients were all fresh, cooked to perfection and the size of the dishes were verryyy generous. We ordered chicken nibbles as starter to share, kebab Bulgaria and mix grill bowl for main. Very happy to find this restaurant and will definitely go back many times. I could hear "wow" from other tables as soon as they were served with foods.

Very Central location in the heart of Richmond. Great Persian theme. Orders did not take too long to prepare. Food serves were great. Waiters made sure dietery requirements were met as discussed. Went here for.my mum's 50th birthday. Not full marks for this place as waiters brought food from the toilet area hallway, there was another function booked in on the other side of the bar and it got quite noisy for our little celebration. Otherwise staff were friendly. Clean facilities and great food.

First Takeout of Level 3! Best choice l have made. It's very tricky to feed a family of 5 during lockdown. So was looking forward to ordering the Royal Feast. The meat was succulent, the flavours throughout the entire platter was well balanced. And don't get me started on the rice. My boys went crazy over it. We had never tasted rice this good before. Very tasty. We managed to have leftovers for tomorrow night. Let's just say they are very generous with their portions.

Not a big fan of trying new places- as l have been to a few so called 'Persian' restraunts.I have been disappointed many times nothing taste like back home in Christchurch. We ordered Koobideh. This l tell you now is true Persian cuisine. The meat is juicy every bite you take. The portions are truly Persian (if not more generous). They also had a verg unique beer set up going on. 13 tap beers to chose from. What a selection!

Fantastic experience at this restaurant for the taste of Iranian food on Persian New Year. This place is located in the heart of city next to mums 24. We were a group of 8, went for their royale feast for $180 for 6-8 share. It was amazing, it had lamb chop, lamb shish kebab, grilled chicken, salmon, and beef, along with 2 types of salads and peeled potato chips on top. Rice is flavoured with spices. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing. We hired the upstairs for our daughters 21st and the venue catered to all our needs and asks. Food is absolutely amazing, the young barman who served us upstairs was so on!!! Nice restaurant bar! The food is served in a big portion which is enough for two! Good quality. But the menu is more like Turkish restaurant rather than a Persian. I expected to see some Persian entree like ‘kashe bademjoon’ and some stews in the main menu.

My wife and I had a great night out there. The food was really good and interesting. The atmosphere was family friendly. So although we were on a date night we'd be very comfortable bringing our young daughter there. The service was good. The people who run it are really friendly and polite.

I am down in Christchurch from Auckland for a week. In Auckland we have many shisha bars. But this one tops any shisha bar I have been to. The shishas are well priced. I only payed $20 for my shisha. The flavour variety is great. The venue is very nice and has a friendly vibe. The staff are great and helpful. Highly suggest this place for people that like to smokw shisha 👍🏾

It was the best Persian food I have had in New Zealand. We Iranians are a bit picky when it comes to food and we usually prefer the taste of the food our parents make. I can easily say the kebabs I had at Chic were truly as good. I ordered Royal Feast and I could not stop myself from finishing it all. I sat outside and I really enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere. Arrived in Christchurch today and after 6 hours of sight-seeing we found this place by accident and it didn’t disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the waitress, Kylie, politely welcomed us and consistently delivered excellent service during dinner, right up to when we left. Although she mentioned she only started recently, we all agreed that she is an asset to the restaurant. The food was exquisite and the portions very substantial. Great ambience and decor. It was once of the best meals we had in our 2 months of travelling New Zealand. Our waitress Rosie was the kindest and nicest person who recommended us some of the best dishes. I’ve not really tried Persian cuisine before but I was blown away by the flavours! The food was not only presented amazingly but the taste was fantastic. The restaurant lives up to its name ‘chic’ with the atmosphere being just that. I felt relaxed and was happy to spend the evening in the booths having a few drinks after my dinner. The staff were super accomodating and I felt I was not rushed throughout the whole evening. The owner was in the night I was there and he made sure to come and chat to us about the food and made sure we were happy with everything. I have since booked my Christmas party in the luxurious upstairs bar for FREE which I was amazed by! And I look forward to playing pool with my work mates and enjoying some of the great drinks they provide. Overall this place is great for both dining and drinks and I would highly recommend to anyone for any situation. Thanks Peivand and your team!!

I go to Chic Restaurant quite often. Have had another lovely evening with 2 friends at chic last Wednesday. This time, We've had garlic prawns and Persian chicken wings for entree, that we loved both. For main, chelo combo was a great choice. very generous portion of shishlik, koobide and saffron Chicken kebabs. well marinated and tender. Baklava and lovely tea for dessert was just amazing. A friend of mine was so keen to see their big charcoal barbecue and the way they prepare their dishes. The friendly chef let us in the kitchen to watch the preparation/cooking for few minutes. was so lovely. Never got disappointed by choosing different options on the menu. I would follow their facebook page as they've got great events/offers from time to time. All in all an amazing experience and highly recommended.
