C.Better than expected, the noodle is spot on Al dente, egg is great; although the broth isn’t rich enough and too salty for my personal liking, it’s very flavorful and aromatic, which is surprisingly nice. The pork in tender and nicely torched, but completely lacked any flavor, as if it was just cooked with plain water. Overall this bowl of noodle is definitely worth the price and worth a try in my opinion.
S.Loved the Tonkotsu Ramen! Felt like it had a great mix of flavours and great consistency but the spicy ramen might have lost the mix of flavours behind the spice flavours. Otherwise the popcorn chicken was great and the dumplings aswell! Would definitely recommend the Tonkutso any day 🔥
R.I had the Sumo Ramen, the photo doesn't do it justice as I had already been mixing it up when I decided to take the picture. I don't usually like kimchi but I did like their's. It was served beautifully, the pork and noodles were delicious. Only took 6 minutes to prepare. I'm not sure what would have taken it to 5 stars for me but I certainly am looking forward to trying new flavours.
B.We got this from menulog for lunch a few days ago. The tonkotsu ramen was very good! Very flavorful and especially enjoyed the egg. My partner loved the chicken sandwich. Also I liked your sticker so much I put it on the fridge 😅

D.These guys are just AWESOME. Not only the delicious food (try the popcorn chicken!) but super friendly and client oriented service. I ordered through UberEats and got the wrong item. Called them and they automatically fixed it! Very friendly and polite. Will definitely order soon again!

J.I had the pork yakisoba , it was fast and very tasty. I didnt realise it was so big , definitely enough for 2 people. Not alot of pork and the pieces I got alot of pieces that were just fat but other than that delicious.
A.Well, 1st you have to make the choice: are you into the chicken (cluck cluck) or the ramen (slurp!)? We went for the ramen on this cool chch day, and it was excellent! Layers of flavor, very filling, and lots of interesting bits to keep you coming back for more. Service is pretty fast and friendly, but they could use deeper ramen spoons - the cheap plastic ones do not deliver much soup easily, and spill a lot, and overall the ramen is quite salty compared with the (excellent) competition nearby. Still, a great place for a warming and tasty lunch!

R.Glorious Gluten Free Ramen in Christchurch! What a treat. So much flavour and friendliness. We also had the pork belly bites, which were also full of flavour and deliciousness. Great helping size and definitely worth the price. Meal took 6 mins to be ready. Very pleased and look forward to visiting again. Yum.

r.I’ve eaten here 2 times. One of those times my dad got me a gluten free chicken sandwich and when I opened the contener it wasn't Gluten free. The other time I ordered another gluten free chicken sandwich this time it was gluten free. The person who made it was really nice. They gave me extra chips. The chips were yum but basic, it seems to be really easy to mess up simple chips. They were not dry and not oily, they didn’t have too much salt and it was evenly spread. The sandwich was really good. The chicken was not dry and it had the right amount of salad. Overall it was very good. I just recommend making sure that your sandwich is correct if you have dietary requirements.

D.We got the Slurp side of things. Honestly, it's great ramen, if a little quirky. The Riverside Market can be hit or miss but the ramen here definitely sunk my battleship (Sorry that sounds like a euphemism, not intentional).

T.The ramen here is 'ok' but to me seemed like a unauthentic and mediocre offering compared to some of the altenatives nearby (like Ramen Ria just around the corner, or even better 'Sesame Noodle' in the Eats on Oxford centre. I had the Shoyu Ramen today and it tasted unremarkable as well as being a little slim on the actual noodle portion. Some of the ingredients were clearly unauthentic - a good example is they use cheap bamboo shoots instead of menma bamboo shoots like everyone else trying to do decent ramen. On the plus side the pork belly slices were quite thick (but lacked a charred flavour) . For more serious ramen fans head elsewhere, for everyone else it will probably be absolutely fine and passable.
