We tried Everest for the first time since moving back into the area after many years away. It was a special occasion and not sure if we’ve tasted a better Samosa or one filled with more vegetables. They were a five star on their own. Mango Chicken had very tender chicken pieces and a beautiful curry and with a couple of Naans we couldn’t have asked for a better takeaway option during level 3. Also thought the pricing was excellent value so we’ll definitely be back. Thank you for a great meal.

Lovely quiet suburban restaurant . Attentive staff and happy to oblige with dietary requirements. Would highly recommend. Chefs special with coriander gravy divine.

I have been here three times now with my wife and I have not been let down once, Incredible food, fast service and a reasonable price especially if you come for the $10 lunch. I cannot recommend this place enough, you have to try it at least once.

I eat out at a lot of Indian Restaurants places (all over NZ and overseas) and last week while in Christchurch thought I'd try this one with a friend. We were the only ones in the entire restaurant (It was a Monday) and while the food was pretty OK (3.5), the service was average and there was a CONSTANT loud phone ringing from their Urber Eats orders machine. The decor is dated and tired. Sadly no photos. Ambience / Atmosphere = 1.5 / 5 Service 2 Food 3.5 I will not return here nor would recommend when there is MUCH better options in the area. FYI - I went to another Indian Restaurant the following night (it was 5/5) that was 100% awesome and I will be taking my business there every time I am in the Prestons-Christchurch area.

Tried the Chana Masala, highly recommend as a vegetarian dish! Similar to the chicken tikka masala but with chickpeas instead of chicken.

This must be one of the must go to place ,it's so good.I had come to this restaurant with my family and we have a amazing time.The food was amazing and the staff were respectful.We had the butter chicken,mango chicken and cheesy garlic naan breads,which was so good.We have recommended this place to all our friends. We will make sure to come back next week.

This is a cool we restaurant in Parklands shopping centre. We are at the restaurant, but they also do takeaway. The curries were delicious! I had mild and partner had medium. Naan bread was tasty too and there was plenty to go around. The table service was excellent and staff were friendly. Definitely going back here :)

Been a regular here for years. I've tried all the Indian restaurants in Christchurch and while the place itself doesn't look as flashy and modern as the others, the food is leagues above the rest. Hands down the best Cheese Garlic Naan & Butter chicken I've ever tasted. I also love the fact that they provide a large size option.

I have been the Everest India Parkland. It is just small hidden Jams of Christchurch. Great food and great people. Price is just so so so reasonable. We often go there. Great thing is they Open until 10 o’clock at night.

I've been to Everest twice for their $8 lunch takeaway deal. The curries with Basmati rice were amazing especially as my post workout meal. I had the butter chicken and lamb korma. Quick and friendly service. Have not had dine in experience here.

Disappointing to get a lamb dish that is full of fatty bits. Butter chicken has bits of grit through it. Phoned to speak to manager but was put on to several different people. Frustrating and disappointing, money wasted.

Good food, friendly service. We have opted for takeaway each time and will continue to go back. Great to have good local Indian food. Dine in seems very quiet but we've only been here twice. Don't judge based on the exterior and surrounding buildings, it's a hidden gem :)

It's OK, when I was dining in I was dining alone and it seemed to me that the staff were very distant and then a few other customers arrived and they were still vacant, I felt like I went into someone's house and wasn't invited but I was there, rogan josh was OK, rice a bit dry, naan was fluffy 😍😍 overall nice food but lacked customer service, they need some entertainment of some sort 😊😊
