n.Love their food! So yummy vegetarian and vegan option. Very juicy felafel bun and the fish was smooth and very well-coated. But wait, the kumara ribbons are very well executed- thin, crispy and not too salty. The staff are friendly and efficient!
K.Excellent fish and chips. First time I ate here I had the fish and chips, next time I had the chicken bites with kumara crisps. Fish and chips is definitely the way to go. Fresh and beautiful!

A.Yummy food options, vegetarian and vegan friendly. I absolutely love the kumara ribbons!! The falafel has nice flavour and spice.. good portion size too. I like that there are different base options to choose from, so picking and choosing is possible depending on what I feel like eating at the time. Advice: go inside rather than via the outside entrance to see the daily base special for something that isn't on the menu. The food felt and tasted wholesome and delicious. Thank you
F.Lovely fresh food. You choose your protein and combine with salads of chips. I had the beef with feta and beetroot salad it was very tasty and I want to try the other options now.

A.Wonderful service and very easy to work with. We had the team come to site to cater for a large corporate event, they met all of our requirements - even helped us create a special menu for the event! There was plenty of food to go around, and everyone raved about how fantastic the food was. I recommend Herba Gourmet for any function, especially if you require a specialized menu or have dietary requirements!

F.Exquisite experience, this resteraunt has disqualied the fact for me that sometimes it IS hard to find coeliac friendly food here in christchurch.
The food was absolutely amazing. I chose the chicken tenders, which were at a very reasonable price. I also included the potato chips, where absolutely sensational to enjoy on this Sunday afternoon. As I paid an extra $2.50 for what they called "Fresh Avacado", the name really said it. The avocados really were soft and nice, with the salts and peppers added on top.
The woman who served me at about 12:15 on the 18th July, was calm, welcoming and wasn't one of those cashiers that you find are just trying to earn money they don't deserve. Amazingly kind person.
I am definitely coming here again.
Thank you for one of the best experiences I have ever had here in Christchurch.
