Reviews of Himalayas Indian Restaurant
S.
Definitely the best Butter Chicken I’ve ever had, hands down. So thick & full of flavour, deliciously creamy. Also the garlic & cheese naan was so yum! Thank you Himalaya’s for the wonderful experience & utterly delicious dining that will make you savour every bite.

This was recommended by my motel and I will thank them for their advice
Really good quality food. The Prawn Colombo was really tasty and just the right spice level. I'll definitely be back.

Went here for dinner this evening and everything was absolutely delicious.
Samosas were soft, chilli chicken was super tender and tasty and the Kadahi chicken curry was bursting with flavour. Also the cheese and garlic nann was the best I've had.
Will 100% be back.

Finally found a place that serves Authentic Indian food, best in the city with balanced flavors. Unmatched quality

Finally found an Indian restaurant in Christchurch that knows how to cook a Indian curry. Usually, other restaurants put too much sweetness into the curries, which taste sweet dishes with no taste.
I ordered Malai Kofta, which was cooked perfectly, and I was able to taste the dish, not the sweetness.

The Sahi Paneer and Malai Kofta that I picked up last night were not up to expectations. Last night’s experience deserve a 1 star review, its a three starer as the past experiences were not that bad.

Always had an uber from it and finally decided to dine in, Best indian restaurant in town. All credit to chef. Highly recommend lamb kali mirch and keema Naan.

Good food and service. Can have a large group but if there is one then noise can be an issue. Nice 'spice' decor. Good location and parking. Only had dinner but special lunch menu looks good.

It was a quiet Tuesday and we were looking for a curry restaurant as we're not from Christchurch. So we found this place as it was closest to where we were staying and as you can imagine it wasn't busy, so we were seated quite quickly. We ordered the food, out of the six of us three had starters and it was plenty for all six of us to share. Then the main meals came out and they were fantastic, ample amount of food definitely would recommend for the quality, quantity and service.

Quite simply the best Indian food in Christchurch. We discovered this place after ordering some uber eats and were blown away by how delicious our food was. The Prawn Pakoras are a must try! Very delicious food and great service.
