L.Awesome service!! Friendly and helpful to explaining the menu. Our meals came out fast and looked outstanding. Would highly recommend.
B.When we arrived it was pretty busy and the staff were rushed off their feet but any time we had an interaction with a staff member they were full of smiles and friendly. When we ordered our food we expected a wait as thier were 8 people in our group. The waiters and the kitchen really pulled it off and food came out pretty fast, all at the same time and was amazing.

The food however was below average. I had the beef burger and it was very bland. Chips were fine though.
Originally I had a 2 star but bumped to 3 star due to the good service.

K.This is our local Joe's and haven't had any issues in the past couple of years we've gone there. Good service and food is always consistent. PLEASE support businesses like this at the moment they are really struggling
M.Dropped in here for the first time. The cooked breakfast was a good meal. From the Police having coffee to St Bedes senior students ( recognised by their school tie) this is a very popular venue.
Quick and efficient they staff provided great reviews.

A.It was a quick dip in for a cuppa. Coffee was good. Fries were lovely.The cheese twirl was a bit of a let down. The pastry should really have a crisp to it but it didn't. An upgrade to your vinyl seat cover would be nice to match the classiness of the rest of the place. Staff were pleasant so thank you oh and my new Jeans are from the Warehouse on Blenheim Rd 😁

C.Joe's Garage in Papanui I can't rate highly enough. The food was beautifully presented, tasty and the variety was excellent. Over a week I consumed a variety over breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff where always happy in there work, friendly and helpful. I wish they would open up in Dunedin..my home town. I will return to Joes anytime I'm in Chch, Papanui.

A.First time at Joe's garage on Cranford street. I found it to be a warm and inviting atmosphere with friendly staff. The meals were well presented and accommodated with any needs which were happily meet. I would happily go back there again and would also recommend to anyone to give them a try.

P.Good food. Explained we had to be quick due to going to a show. Only reason why it's not 5 stars is, I explained it was my daughters birthday and they did nothing. At riccarton branch when it was my son's birthday they made a fuss of him and gave him a free cap. Definitely riccarton is the superior outlet for customer service.
E.Have to say, food was pretty good, but service!!! OMFG we were in before another table and ignored while their drink and food orders were taken. Then we were made to feel like an after thought. When I went to pay for tea , I discovered that the server who was less than average had put the later arrivals and our bills together!?!?! Not happy

T.An absolutely lovely diner with incredibly hearty and tasty food offerings. When you order a main, you get a main! No bull! I'd be very surprised if anyone leaves this place not feeling full. The servings are incredibly generous. Their roast pork is one of the most delicious roast meals I've had anywhere. They naturally have a very good drinks selection and the girl that prepared our drinks was fantastic. A truly enjoyable experience we will repeat again.

L.We loved this place ! We were staying at the top 10 across the road and came for coffee and dinner . The service was excellent ! These guys are super friendly :) Had the beef pot pie and omg it was Devine ! My husband had the pork belly and loved it and my kids loved their pizzas ! Would definitely recommend this place for a family dinner . Low key but fab food and service.

G.Hadnt been for a while a last time had a bad experience. This time the staff were friendly and professional, and the food generally good. A bit disappointing not to he told the wait on meals was about 45 minutes. Still cant get poached eggs. No soap or hand towels in the toilet.

R.A group of 6 friends dined at Joes Garage Cranford today for lunch. Food was very nice and quite plentiful. We were very disappointed with the service from the staff. We received our orders reasonably quickly and the waiter taking the orders was very patient allowing us ample time to decide. The meals duly arrived and that was about the end of it, there were no further visits to our table to see if we required further drinks , or deserts or teas and coffees. One member of our party did require another wine so he needed to go to counter to place this order. Duly placed and paid for he waited & waited and eventually had to go back up to counter to see what had happened and alas it seemed the order had been forgotten! We then had to go back to counter to get somebody to come and take our desert or coffee orders. Very poor service from the day staff but food was very nice. Would I come back, maybe, but not to Cranford St.
G.Mid week Pink Ribbon fundraiser for 60 guests hosted at Joe's Cranford Street. The place was great to hold our event. Staff were happy to assist with any special requests on the night too. Meals and drinks all around for a large crowd--not a problem. Many of our attendees have commented they will definitely be back for more good times and yummy food at Joe's.

A.Great pizzas. They have a two for one deal night. Think it's Monday or Tuesday.
Not too many options for vegetarian/vegan however there are sides.
Chips have the option of gravy on the side which some people really love.

M.Absolutely love walking into Joe's and being greeted with a smiling face every time. Fantastic coffee (Coffee Rescue) and your traditional American diner style breakfast options. I've had this experience each and every time across the board - even when I was down in Queenstown! Chur 🤙
D.I come here fairly often as the restarant is near where I work. Always good here for a quick bite to eat and the service has always been good. Generally I go for one of the two burgers - which are both as good as each other.

B.usually have a good experience here but today (friday the 19th of july) i got a hot chocolate and a brownie. however i got overcharged for the brownie and didnt really get good service as i usually do. they didnt seem happy at all. was just before lunch time
C.Pretty typical cafe / diner experience really, not much of a setting overlooking a large carpark. The menu covers most people, and it's pretty kid friendly too. Music could do with being a fraction lower in volume, but each to their own.

V.Went there for lunch with friends. We Ordered snitznel and when it arrived it was a huge snitznel but had been obviously cooked in a press as it was a flat and crumbs horrible soggy and served on a huge lot of nice fries. Not a bit of greenery to be seen. I could only manage half of it and it certainly didn't look appealing at all compared to other things I see on there web site.
Staff were nice and friendly but I won't bother going back .

My sister and I between us have MULTIPLE allergies, we said this on entering and got the best response ever, he came out with a booklet of what contained said allergens and checked with us at ordering if anything else needed substitution.
