Came here to enjoy some tea with some fellow work colleagues and enjoyed the meal and company and felt sorry for the long queue of people in their cars though…yikes. Either way, good meal and service and love the outdoor eating area - suited my anxiety well, thank you :)

Another KFC store but high rating because of the helpful friendly staff member. I had a fairly big order to fill & she helped me decide what I needed. Clean store, great chicken

Chicken was quite dry. Slipped and strained knee on wet floor and no sign. But to be fsir there was quite s racist a couple of customers in front of us. Complaining that he couldnt understand teller. So there was s bit of help for the poor girl. He really did his nuts.

Extremely good quality chickens, friendly staff, and clean interior. I went to the store few times, but once or twice, it would have this weird smell inside. But other than that, with the outdoor eating place as well, it’s a perfect choice.

Arrived at 11am tables were really dirty had not been wiped. Men's toilet was yellow with urine and really dirty. Staff were friendly and food was nice and fresh.

Just got home ordered a dinner for two. They were busy got home to find no coleslaw. Girl at till handed over drinks we had to ask for drinks tray. When we got to the window to pick up food he was not very friendly. Will let you know how we get on when we go back to the shop.

So I went there at my dinner break...drive through packed so I went in.There was a line and just one person serving. Once I got to the counter the service was great! Fast and friendly and the young Asian guy not flustered at all like I would've been with all those people. I am writing this with Hope's that the management has a heart and hires more staff to help the other staff ..you are lucky you have calm collected staff because things could have gone wrong in a heartbeat

Service was nice. Went through the drive thru. Was handed a different order, checked before I left and had to go back through to get the right thing. My order still wasn't 100% correct regarding the order size up I paid for, but that's ok. Food seemed fresh.

Apologies to the lady at the window. When picking up my order the bag had wiped and all the order had dropped to the ground. The lady replaced the order. So I have to say thank you to the lady at the window and my apologies as well for the mess and appreciate the kindness kfc Riccarton. 😊🍔🍟🍗🍦

The customer service was acceptable. The food in my case was prepared astonishingly fast, and was of reasonable quality. However the restaurant itself was very untidy, an issue which most KFC restaurants suffer from. A significant amount of food had been allowed to gather on the floors. You would expect an eating establishment to be a lot cleaner. Other than the untidy restaurant, my experience was acceptable.

I am a big KFC fan! Service her was good although it was just one person serving a queue. Salt was perhaps a little bit liberal on the chips I had to pull out a few that would be inedible with their white coating.

Probably one of the better KFCs in Christchurch, service-wise. Still don't understand KFC's policy on only having one till operating even during busy periods.

Friendly service. Actually got the extra seasoning - nice change. Uber eats should really have their own separate counter as the steady stream of uber eats drivers cause all the other customer orders to take much much longer than it should have. Otherwise a good visit.

Not too bad, they need to clean the place better than they do now, all the rubbish bins were full so you had to leave everything on the top. The floors need a mop as well, however the staff are friendly and always smiling, quite generous with the portions. Food always tastes good.

We have just eaten an 8 piece chicken pack 1/2 Hot and spicy with large chips and large potato and gravy. The best KFC we have had anywhere for years. Everything was hot and perfectly seasoned and the chicken was perfect not greasy, a very nice change from what you use to get. Excellent friendly service. Just like the good old day's, Thankyou.

It was ok. The regular yummy comfort food that you come to expect from a fast food joint like KFC however, it was very understaffed and took 10 minutes for me to get my two quarter packs. Riccarton KFC was also very messy. There were food scraps on some of the tables still and lots of mess on the floor. The staff were friendly but they clearly need more people on, on the weekend.

More stars if it had been cleaner and more staff on. (Sunday night). We were thinking of staying and eating it in-store but our place much cleaner! Come on KFC.... treat your staff well and pay them generously...give them breaks with a purpose built staffroom....we know you don't provide this at most stores. Your staff will stay if you treat them with respect.

KFC just up the road from the busier one at Westfield Mall is worth the walk down. Every time I have been the service has been good and the place has always had clean tables. It also has a good music video channel playing while you wait or enjoying your meal which is on a easy listening station and just the right volume.As for some saying abrupt service, I probably do not blame them with some of the customers they have to put up with.

Can't understand the girl at drive through had to repeat order more than 3 times yet she acted impatient with us & didn't repeat order back at the end until we asked her. Charged us 50c for the standard 1 sauce for a 6 pack of nuggets. Food was ok but can be a bit hit & miss with freshness at times.

Good KFC alongside Riccarton Mall. Very busy part of town. Car parking can be a challenge but easy to catch a bus. On the city side of Riccarton it is a bit of a walk from the Riccarton Mall. Good KFC if you like this takeaway food. Like all fast foods getting expensive these days and not a cheap option. The are a quick and easy option to get a reasonably good meal nonetheless.

If you go at lunch time to the riccarton rd one dont be in a hurry there was only one attendant and the poor guy was swamped.so i cant say i was not impressed, I used to like it but no more, I had a tasteless shaker salad with two tenders about the size of my first finger, I must be honest they were OK in taste. but there was no sauce with them.

Yooow. I ordered the 20pack wicked wings and as soon as I pay and removed the my card, boom, 20wings are packed and ready to go. Im not even joking. The teamwork there is so good and they move really really fast.

The food is solid, and the staff are nice. Not sure if the owners of the place understand what needs to be done with the place though. The drive through mobile eftpos is taped up and fairly beaten and has been for a while and their dine in order screen doesn't update its order status terribly fast. Given the location, its also a popular place to eat, which means wait times are fairly high. On dine in this is due in part to what can observed to be a lone counter policy: At all points there is only one person taking orders/manning the register on dine-in, even during very big peak periods. This is exacerbated by the fact that the person manning the registers is often (but not always) also handling final order prep. This may all be based on anecdotal observation during my own experiences with this store, but I would suggest that if you are in a hurry you may want to order elsewhere. Also, while the staff have given and do routinely give good service, the stressful nature and pace of the work itself means they are not always so cheery. All in all though, if your just looking for some decent kfc and you don't mind waiting a bit longer sometimes then this store is perfectly fine.

KFC Tahunanui has great food. But the service leaves much to be desired. It's not the staff's fault though. The problem is a management decision to understaff the premises by 1-2 staff. Twice in recent times, in the 7-8pm time period the wait time has exceeded 20 minutes. And I witnessed people walk out rather than join a lengthy queue. Get your act together, KFC.

It is opened usually till midnight where the one in Riccardton mall closes at 6pm. So after 6pm, if u need KFC, then this is the only option. They are doing good there. .

Avoid the crowds by going 30 minutes before peak times. A good selection of chicken and other side dishes at reasonable prices. Avoid the drive in at dinner and lunch as a quick visit can turn into a long wait
