J.It is not often one walks into a store, and is gracefully guided toward an optimal choice based on your preferred taste. The store manager today graced me with this experience, and her extensive knowledge. The fries were hot, and delicious - and the burger (spicy "chicken") tasted delectable. I have great respect and support for what they are doing here in the culinary world and they certainly are welcome in Christchurch with service and food like this. It was nicely priced for what I received. Top marks.
M.I went there on opening day. Was super impressed with the customer service. Got free fries and the burger was amazing.
Even got a second helping of fries, when i pointed this out i got told its ok, was given a hug and a merry Christmas. Cant say thats ever happened to me at a burger place!

P.A good place to eat if you want quick and easy vegan fast food similar to like likes of McDonalds etc. I wouldn’t say there was anything particularly special about the food however. The burger didn’t quite have that gourmet taste I was after. Great that they offer Beyond meat as a premium option for some burgers though. Price was pretty steep.

Off street parking may be tricky, but it’s so neat to have LOTF in the downtown pedestrian area of Christchurch.
If you’re a night owl, the fact they’re open well past midnight Friday and Saturday is awesome too!
O.Wow! Went here on a whim as we saw it was opening today and man that was some of the best plant based food combinations ever. The biggie, egg and patty and the egg and bacon were what we ordered with sides of fries of course and it was all great. I’m not a vegan but I sure wasn’t missing out on anything meat related when opting for plant based and trying their food as it tastes great! I’ll definitely be back. P.s the fries are really good and they were nice enough to give them away for free today 12-2pm!!
V.I had my first chicken burger it was really unique and Tasty burger I had wd lots of fresh ness in the cheese and the lettuce 🥬...enjoyed it😋🍔
B.We love this place! My partner doesn't eat meat but I do. I think the food here is great and I wish more places had plant-based options. I don't really understand all the bad reviews, the food is awesome! I'm from Chicago and the Chicago hot dog is the best hot dog I've had in NZ. It is pricey but maybe that is the price you pay for food that is ethically sourced? So happy this place is in ChristCity's CBD!

S.I was disappointed by my experience with Lord of the Fries in Wellington. But despite that I decided to come in and give the Christchurch branch a go.
And I am soooo glad that I did. The customer service was great (they're really onto it with checking vaccine passes too) and the food was incredible.. a much better experience than Wellington for sure. I'm happy I moved down to Christchurch. If they keep this up I may well become a regular customer
B.Best vegan fast food in town. Some teething issues in the first week open but that’s to be expected! Big thanks to the wonderful staff. So glad to have a LOTF in chch finally & looking forward to many more burgers to come 🍔

The chicken wings are amazing but you can’t go past the chips with cheese and gravy.

F.Went in and was quiet mid afternoon, my partner ordered a mock chicken burger, and didnt like the mustard sauce- (i tasted it and loved it), i have the spicey mock beef style burger, and i also really liked that also, the loaded fries was nice too, the only reason i cant give 5 stars is because We just found it really expensive for what you get, the loaded fries was a good portion, i just think the burgers are as small as possible to the point where it just feels mean. the way the person is sreaming out the orders out was also weird it auctually gave us a fright the first time she did it.
