Ordered some Maccas about a week and a half ago, we got a choose your own sharebox. The hokey pokey shake my brother had ordered was appalling. It was about 75% Syrup or more. It tasted bad enough that it wasn't drinkable. The fries were slightly cold but they were fine. Although that's the only negative things about this McDonalds, the positives were that the service was great, clean and the rest of the food was great. Thank you McDonald's Hillmorton.

Very small McDs, walked and gave my vaccine cert to be scanned, ordered from the board and had my order in a reasonable time. Although next time i will do drive through due to the small size.

Busy and cute inside this little McDonald's. Went inside as the drive-through was very busy. Fast service and catered for no contact service. Didn't give the full rating because of very limited entry for one person.

Why can this McDonald's never seem to get it right, the food is fine but don't expect any requested changes to ever be done. I ordered my niece a 6 pack of nuggets was charged for them but ended up with chicken bites which are worth way less. Unfortunately we'd already gone home before she saw what she had. I'd suggest almost any other McDonald's over this one.

Good, but pick your time for the drive wisely with peak busy times in mind. There's not much queue room without blocking the road, generally find though and just as good as any McDonald's.

Good fast food, nice friendly staff who seem to get along and have a laugh togetiher, very clean and tidy. Not such a rushed feel as some McDonald's, a calm, measured, take your time approach, which is refreshing and worth travelling an extra 10 mins for! I really like this McDonald's and totally recommend it for a snack, fast lunch or relaxed family birthday dinner.

Top tip, only go to this McDonald's if you see a queue for the drive thru. The food only seems to be fresh and hot if there's a line. They tend to skimp on the pickles, so always order extra if that's what you like.

This maccas has always been my go to one, mostly bcs its closer to my house but also because i dont have to wait to long. Occasionally they will mess up my order but it’s understandable since it only happens when there’s too much customers.

Great place to check things on free Wi-Fi. Great food if in a hurry and can not make up your mind. Check orders before leaving at all fast food places.

Drive through ia fairly fast, going in tends to be pretty slow. Never had an issue with food quality at this particular branch. If there is an event at Horncastle arena, avoid going here, drive though line ends up down the street.

Honestly these guys are by the far the most reliable maccas store in Christchurch. Not necessarily the best but they're consistently good which is to be expected from a really busy store and are quick to rectify their mistakes.
