L.What an amazing hidden gem this beautiful, quaint wee Cafe is.
Hidden down a beautiful tree lined driveway is this little building that opens up into a gorgeous cobbled brick courtyard, surrounded by little outbuildings that are intimate dining areas. Tables set up under leafy trees lit up with fairy lights.
Its like stepping back in time into an Italian village square.
Sue and her staff hosted my daughters wedding here in the first week of January.
Aside from being an incredible hostess, she did all the decorating, cooked all the delicious food, seasoned with herbs from her own garden. She also made and iced the wedding cake, andecorated it with fresh cut flowers from her garden.
She took the time to chat with guests and even took photos and sent them to my daughter.
What an amazing woman she is.
I would not hesitate to recommend this Cafe for any sort of small celebration.

E.We had the best time celebrating our wedding at Memorys. Loved everything about it. The venue is a stunner and the food and drinks are just the best quality. (Great for tummy but also pleasing the eye). Attention to detail from the setting through food to music is astonishing. If you looking for a tranquil and peaceful place for your Sunday lunch this spectacular oasis in the middle of nowhere is just a perfect spot.
C.Don't drive past. It is well worth a visit. The food is great.The layout, well you decide. You won't be disappointed.

J.We arrived around 12:30 for lunch. It did take awhile for the meals to come out (only two staff on), but we had the time. I wish I had taken a photo of the platter. Two of us shared the platter, and it was full of variety and beautifully fresh food. Would I go back? Yes. Would I order the platter again? Absolutely!!

C.We want to love this place!! It’s our “local” and an easy bike ride from home in Springston. However we have been disappointed with the poor service both times we have visited. It’s taken +15 minutes to be given a menu on both occasions, despite the cafe being very quiet and waitstaff walking past our table many times. That said, the scones we’ve had both times were delightful, and jam and cream plentiful. We’ll keep persevering in the hope service improves.

C.The food and coffee is amazing. A bit of genius is in every plate, so we'll thought out and put together. And then we have the scones, that's just a fluffy cloud on a plate. So good!!

A.Since discovering this memorable place less than a year ago, we have been back five times with different family members and friends so they too can share in this is an absolutely wonderful ole world cafe experience. We simply love this setting that suits a variety of occasions all year round. Further and especially so, is Sue's (and staff's) warm welcome greeting, attention to our comfort, lovingly prepared meals and service. (Huge thanks). So if you are looking for old world charm with great personal attention accompanied by Italian / French style flavoured Foods & Beveridge then this is the cafe for you, your family & friends. We'll be back again sometime in the Springtime.
N.Memories is a little Jewel, fresh breads and food made on demand in a beautiful setting just outside Springston. Well worth a visit.

L.We were part of a group having lunch at Memory's today. We all chose different meals off the menu and couldn't fault any of the meals. Amazing flavours and presentation. Also great service from the young lady looking after our table.
C.What a pleasure our visit was! A cozy restaurant with wonderful decor along a country road. As soon as you walk in you feel warm and fuzzy inside! Just beautiful sitting by the window looking out on a windowsill full of potted flowers. The French onion soup was to die for! My friend and I shared a beautifully laid out plate of small bites for dessert. Coffee was sooo good. I can't say enough about this lovely restaurant - one of the best finds ever.
D.A wonderful little gem of a casual restaurant which we found on our way to Akaroa. We came for lunch and sat in the courtyard. The salad and bruschetta we ordered were delicious and when our 16 months old son woke up the owner made a great little platter for him. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

J.I recently held our wedding at Memory's and what a fantastic decision this was. Sue and the team could not have done more to make the event special. The venue itself is very unique and memorable, as the name syggests, but the service and food equally matched this.

Very warm welcomes were offered from both mother & daughter hosts on arrival, delicious specialty coffees and mouth watering homemade platters/food combined with the most enchanting spots inside & out to get comfortable in while you enjoy the food & drink options. Well worth a visit, I would highly recommend!
