Amazingly cooked Chicken with the Coleslaw. Price was appropriate which I was surprised for a bit considering my first perspective of Nando’s was of luxury eating. The portion suits me even though I couldn’t necessarily clean the plate. Should’ve come more often

I was tired from shopping, so I ordered food inside. The classic burger is very delicious. The clerk is very patient and is not recommended.

Best place for BBQ chicken and burgers around riccarton area. Nando's is famous for its unique sauces so called 'Peri-Peri' flavour and yes it is... indeed !!! The good thing is that you can buy these sauces from there. Also you can get it from supermarkets. Restaurant is beautifully designed and spacious. Staff was so nice and kind.

Good food, however I noticed that one of the staff members would complain about people not wearing a mask and that is ok, I encourage that even though the mask will come off to eat anyways. My complaint is that when one of here friends of the same race came into the restaurant without a mask on everything was ok and she was not punished for not wearing a mask. And as soon as one of my family members would enter that same lady would complain about us not wearing a mask even though she kept letting the other lady not wear a mask.

The food was good. The food is made without alcohol and the chicken is halal. You can read it as well on the website. They have also a vegetarian option. The have several spicy stages. For people who never eat spicy they should take mild or non-spicy. If you take hot or higher you have to consider that it is really hot. I love it to eat hot and spicy. And for me very hot was really very hot. If you are inside they have enough places to dine in. You can take a menu and have seat but you have to order at the front and they will bring you the food to your table. We can recommend it to everyone. They have as well options for children.

Turned up on spec as Nando's at Hoyts entex is closed ( no notices anywhere/ on Web etc) Staff at Riccarton fantastic and friendly, order was correct and ready before time given. Birthday Tea saved!

I’ve been to this Nandos a few times. It seems to have slipped in food standards a little over the past few years. I order the Paella, and wasn’t really expecting to receive what I did, and given I’ve had paella in both Spain and Portugal I was a little disappointed here. Plus side was the food arrived quickly and wasn’t overly expensive. Parking here can be a little difficult at peak times

Sunday night, you'd expect to be quiet but instead the place is packed and one friendly, young lady is mostly running the whole restaurant front of house by herself, cleaning tables, serving food, plating dishes taking orders.... All with a friendly smile and cheerful service. I've been to a lot of nandos, too many, but I've never seen one member of staff make such a large contribution to the way the restaurant keeps happy, lively, timely and clean! What a 🌟

We put in a huge takeaway order yesterday. The staff were fantastic working through it all and even labelled everything with names so it was super easy to pass out when we got home. My husband and I go here almost every week. Food is great and so is the service!! Friendly and engaging team that make you feel welcome. Some of them even remember our usual order!! Haha Keep up the good work guys we will keep coming back !

I did enjoy the food from here. I had no problems with service provided and prices charged.The meals were tasty with sufficient quantities. If you like peri-peri style chicken dishes then this is the place to go. It's a good restaurant and suits groups, families, couples and a meal for only you if you so desire. Enjoy the atmosphere and good company.

Love it. Whole chicken. BBQ'd in Peri Peri sauce. Or in BBQ sauce for the week hearted. It may not be the cheapest takeaway, but this is a form favorite with us. The portion sizes work out pretty big to be fair. Their chips are great. Really miss the round crispy buns they used to have though. It's got a great vibe and nice to dine in too.

The staff is friendly and would always ask if the food’s alright. The chicken is soft and juicy, the fried egg perfectly done each time. The best is their ribs - juicy and tender (not burnt!). Been to Nandos in Malaysia, Singapore and Dunedin and this one’s definitely the best!

Bad management here. We were forced to move from our table without being asked to do so. They just came to clean the table while we were sitting at it waiting for our child to finish eating. Not nice.. 3 stars is generous. Also no rubbish bins!

Nandos has always been my favourite. They have excellent representation for peri peri flavors. Especially this Nandos has always greeted me and friends very well. Gets busy on weekends but no wonder why. It has got enough parking space there. Wouldn't mind going there once a week. Such sn awesome place to be.

15 Dec 2018 - We were contemplating where to eat and down to three choices; Riccarton mall food court, King of Charcoal or Nando's. We ended up choosing this eatery using the process of elimination 😄. Parking was a slight problem as there's only limited car parks 🅿️ in front of their shop and the street parking has time restrictions (for bus lane). But luckily for us, the bus 🚌 lane travel time restriction for the peak time had ended. I ordered three dishes; a family feast chicken 🐔 (a whole chicken with 8 bbq nibbles but they were called "ribs"), a set of four corn on cob 🌽, and a bowl of peri peri chips 🍟. The chicken 🐔 pieces had mild grilled taste but juicy (i.e. not dry) and it goes well with the extra hot peri peri 🌶️ sauce (yummy 😋). The corns 🌽 were delicious as well, especially spreading with the butter which brings out the flavour 😍. This is a licensed eatery and you can order alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. There is a limited outdoor area and smoking 🚬 is [definitely] not inside the building. Have onsite and street parking 🅿. They accept cash, EFTPOS and credit card payments, for those who want to know. Friendly staff. Would I go back? Yes 😏. Would I recommend? Yes 😊. Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can't go wrong with grilled dishes. Tasty and delicious 😋. Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐ out of 5. Nice and clean interior deco. Price: ⭐⭐⭐ out of 5. Slightly expensive pricing but still worth it. P/s: this is my second review on this eatery. ______________________________________________ 2016 - Tasty but pricey. I won't eat it on a regular basis but once in a while when I feel like having BBQ chicken.

Great choice for dinner before the rugby. Nice chicken and some interesting options, like chicken livers! In addition, they have a good range of spice levels. This means, if you're traveling with the kids, you can get milder options for them and options with a bit more heat for yourself. Being in riccarton, this is a good option for a bite to eat before taking the kids off to the rugby! One of my local Christchurch favorites.
