I haven't had Pedro's Lamb for about 15 years at their restaurant and always remember it been fantastic. And ordered their takeaway tonight and it was just as fantastic as I had remembered it. Certainly won't wait another 15 years for more Thankyou.

This place is a kiosk located at the edge of the Liquor King (LK) compound. It's take away only. A serve of the lamb shoulder is $50 and will feed 2-3 persons. The lamb is tender, succulent and nicely roasted; comes with potatoes. The Spanish coleslaw was also nice.

We chose a take-out meal with a lamb shoulder for 50 yuan. It didn’t feel large in my hand, but when I opened it, I felt it was enough for three people. The meat is very tasty and the potato is the same. My friends and I praised it. . This is a very good restaurant.

At $50 it's a little bit pricey, but it is definitely worth it. There is plenty of lamb for 2-3 people and a bunch of potatoes. Staff were super friendly and food was ready very quickly.

First time here, thought the tray felt a bit light so was unsure if it would feed 2 pensioners a wife and meat lover me. Well it feed us all and I even had seconds. We also got the coldslaw and baps. Well it was awesome, tasted great was hot. I can't believe we have been in Christchurch for 11 years and haven't been here. We will be back soon, very soon.

Lamb and potatoes, it doesn't get much better. They have figured out the secret recipe to these two simple and delicious dishes. If I wouldn't feel like such a fatty, I would eat an entire shoulder by myself in one sitting, just because it taste so good. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and go pick some up, bring it somewhere and eat it while enjoying a bottle wine.

I love coming to Pedro's house of lamb on a weeknight when I can't be bothered cooking especially as I work just round the corner. It's perfect for dinner for 2, and lunch the next day! I also love the home-made bread yum!

The food is really good. Get the $45 whole shoulder its well worth the money for the amount you get. I cant say the same for the individual portion for $15. You get a massive amount of potatoes and only a slice of lamb. No where near the amount of lamb you should get for that price. A bit disapointed i basically spent $15 on potatoes

Yum! Very good tender lamb and potatoes. They said it's meant for 2 but that's only if you're starving... Very generous portion. They serve it in a big family sized to go box. There's no place to sit. The guys there are super nice.

We went to this place on the high recommendation from a well-traveled friend who knew his lamb. He claimed it was the best lamb in the world. I myself have had many lamb dishes and was somewhat skeptical. However, we whole heartily agreed! Pedro himself served us the meal out of his humble hut, and we were completely blown away by the flavor and quality of the food. Amazing! Don't be fooled by the simple appearance of Pedro's House of Lamb. GO AND ENJOY!

An expensive dinner but well worth it. Lamb is melt-in mouth delicious although have founds the spuds can on occasion be a bit bland (but when they've been made right they're also delicious!) NB. Not suitable for vegetarians / those that don't eat lamb

Lamb was awesome, it was moist and pulled apart without using a knife. Potatoes were perfectly cooked. The accompanying bread was delicious. Don't know what else to say about the food, but in 17 days in New Zealand it was one of the top meals we had. This was the perfect intersection of fine dining and food truck.

Massive and delicious leg of lamb, with meat falling off the bone, and plenty of potatoes on the side. Probably the best lamb I've had in my life. There was no wait for us - the guy had trays of lamb ready to go. One tray between two people was an effort to finish, but we're not big eaters.

They have very good lamb and potatoes seasoned with some typical Spanish spices mix. Then to the oven for slow cooking. After several hours they are open to public to pick up "fast food" of the best kind. Done slowly with the best recipe and delivered to you in one minute! Delicious Lamb and spuds! Great treat takeaway - especially on a winter evening with a bottle of red. Take home and throw in the oven for a short time to crisp up the potatoes a bit more. Delish!
