S.Very testy Halal Persian cuisine… kababs are very moist and mild which they normally serve with Naan and rice … could make there sitting a more aesthetic and service a bit fast.. but food is a must try

However they didn't write any note on efpost that there would be surcharge if use paywave...end up only found out via bank transation and even paid more than expected.Would be nice if there is a notice on the efpost machine.
P.It was great to have Iranian food at this place. The food was delicious. We ordered chicken BBQ and cauliflower curry. They both comes with naan and rice on choice. I liked the souces which they provide with BBQ made up of pudina. We also order buttermilk which reminded me about chach. The staff was good and humble. Restaurant interior was based on Persian theme.

A.Good quality Middle Eastern food. They have big servings with affordable price. I didn't see any beef on their menu. Maybe they are giving consideration to south asian customers who doesn't eat beef.

A.The presentation and taste of the kababs are great but u have 2 choices either the Naan or rice with no other sides. I got the yellow saffron rice with was actually a teaspoon on a bed of white steamed rice which was not seasoned very well. As mentioned the lamb kabab was the best out of the chicken and lamb option but the accompaniments did not accompany accordingly. I had a table besides me which was uncleared before I walked in and was still uncleared till the time I left. The dinner was left without being touched and I belive the customer must have only had the kabab and did not know what to do with the Naan.
There were items on the menu which was taken off the menu but still displayed on the menu. The menu looked elaborate for presentation but basically cane down to 2 things with the hero of the dish Naan or rice which only had 2 choices. If th menu can be revamped or taken off completely would not really make a difference. It's worth having a menu if you have atleast 5 dishes. It's like going to a fish and chips shop which only sells fish and chips or mashed potatoes and u present a menu which can also be written on a board. ketchup and mayo is abvious so does not need to be included in the menu.
I have been here once before and had a side of chicken curry which went well after we were done with th kababs. I strongly think that they should have a combo where everyone can taste all they have to offer.
A.Absolutely 5star, great Persian food that you can not even find in Iran.
Make sure to try the in-house sauces.

P.We were there (again) last night, and as usual, the food was really nice, the staff were very friendly and the place was clean.
Three little things though.
In the past they always served a small bowl of a delicious chicken soup before the meal, and with the meal they served little bowls of coriander and a yogurt sauces, which were also really nice and went well with the food. This time there were none of these. We asked at the end if the sauces were no longer served (I did not ask about the soup). Apparently they do, and the apologized for forgetting. Maybe we should have asked when the meal was served?!
When we ordered we asked about the size of the offered drinks (can and bottle of Coke) and we were given incorrect information (bottle was 330ml, not 480ml). It is not a big deal, but given that their offer is not that big, maybe they should know.
Like a couple of times in the past, we found the place to be quite cold. When you sit there for an hour or so, it becomes quite uncomfortable. On request they did close the back-door, which stopped the draft. So, bring something warm when you go there on a cool night.

A.The food is nice for meat and rice lovers. The service might be quite lenghy specially if there are lots of take away ordres. The place is usually not packed. The place is rather dark and quite cold or even very cold as they don't seem to use the heat pump. There is a horrible humming noise coming out of their fridges which could ruine your social conversation. I like the food they serve specially the lamb curry with herbs. But from now on, I only go for take away.
u.Delicious food, nice atmosphere with all the documentaries about Afghanistan on TV & pictures on the wall, staff are very polite, welcoming, ensuring you have a good time in there, i had a minced koobideh on Naan and carbonated yoghurt drink for 20$ and it worth it , soup and water complimentary))
M.A friend invited us there to celebrate her birthday. She had eaten there on several occasions. The meal was really nice , value for money , she got a 5% discount since it was her birthday n being a faithful patron. We all enjoyed it n would highly recommend

A.The Persian/Afghan food is extremely good even if the choices on the menu are limited. The nan was excellent and the variety of kebabs are heavenly. A bit noisy though (the fridge ?) and a bit cool/cold since the heat pump was not functionning. Limited desserts. An addition of the Safron Ice cream or the falloodeh ice cream to the end of the meal would be a big plus. The Afghan rice was very nice, almost better than the regular indian basmati rice.
M.The service at this place is just commendable, from the time you walk in the door to ordering, eating and chatting, I couldn't say it enough so commendable. The food is so delicious and WOW! it is made with love, you know food is made with love because it is fabulicious 🤗 I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to fine dine 💖

S.Tried this place for the very first time yesterday and it was worth the price.We tried chefs special and it was a huge portion than we expected.Rice was so yum.. And the lamb shank just melted in our mouth..Perfectly cooked! It was enough for two.Would definitely visit again..They also provided a starter soup.Friendly staff👍

Please ignore the ambience as it's old style chairs and tables and few may also find not so cozy but when the food arrives u won't regret for making the choice .

Very authentic Persian style minced lamb kebab and chicken gives u bit of a feel having an Afghan food in Afghanistan on the roadside restaurant.

T.Good Persian food. Koubideh was nice. Service was a little slow and they did not have tea which was wierd because it is traditional to have team always available in a Persian restaurant. They said if we are busy we don't make it. How long does it take to make tea? Really?
V.Had prince of persia first time last night - was very yum and well worth the money. Different to what i was expecting, but a good different. Complimentary soups and sauces as well and meals were huge. Great service thank you

S.Food is great. Probably needs more customers and marketing. Meat tasted fresh and loved all the dishes. However I went there not paying as it was a club’s event, so cannot compare the prices.
K.Certainly can't fault the food or service. I dined with 4 others and whilst the food is very tasty and the service very attentive, dining in was not pleasant as it was very drafty and cold.( Admittedly it was a very cold night out.) We will go again, maybe in warmer weather.

M.Ultimate kababs restaurant in Christchurch. Fresh tandoori roti didn’t become stretchy even after cold. Kababs cooked to perfection.
Asked the owner / server for suggestion and accepted. Without any doubt got the best variety of kababs in perfect portions. Be warned about RED CHILLY powder kept with salt on the table, it’s real ‘hot’.
