They just updated the decoration and changed the menu. Environment is better. Food is good and authentic. Crayfish is good and reasonable.

We love this place. They used to have the best satay chicken in chch imo but since the revamp they have removed from there menu. We had stewd beef this time and chicken cashew with veg. So much flavor in there meals. Will post a pic on our next meal also

Wonderful choice of authentic Chinese food ( especially the southeast China style). They provide great seafood including crayfish etc too.

We got takeaways. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. We got dumplings, sweet and sour chicken, cashew and chicken, and fried rice. Sweet and sour chicken has the coating like the sweet and sour pork I used to eat - very yummy. And the cashew and chicken was tasty too,and filled with veggies. Dumplings were also fantastic. Partly steamed and partly fried. Very much recommend this restaurant.

We have been coming here for years. Lovely staff, amazing food. Fast friendly service and reasonably priced too. Definitely reccomend 5 stars.

Incredible food. The taste was just stunning. We were lucky to have stumbled upon this place. Authentic Chinese cuisine with lots of options on the menu. They should be a lot busier but the decor looks awful. The furnishing looks dated and the place is quit messy. I don't think they vacuum the carpet either. You would only come here for the food, but there is definitely no ambience.

The quality, flavour, and service is top notch! Very hearty dishes that are very well balanced. You get the classic Chinese takeaway flavours without the greasy takeaway feeling afterwards. This is largely due to the dishes expressing great flavour rather than overloading in salt and msg. The chefs are attentive to each dish, such as the sweet and sour pork having a red vinegar finish for flavour, or the cashew nut chicken using roasted cashewsm it's the little things that make it great!

The food was excellent, very good cook like eating at home, not fatty and very good amount. We got this dish with rice for $12. Totally recommended if you want healthy Chinese and great flavor. Food is 5 start but the restaurant could look nicer.

Came here after being recommended by a friend. The braised duck was really yummy as was the tofu and a great range of vege dishes. We're not yet familiar with the menu - but it is definitely on our "come back again" list for a closer look and more sampling.

we are from canada and are travelling to australia and new zealand for vacation, and we notice that all the chinese restaurants in these countries are quite expensive comparing to canada, however, the last day of our trip, we found this restaurant with a referral from a host and a website recommendation, and we find it super delicious and price reasonable! highly recommend to everyone!
