L.We were driving from Greymouth to Christchurch and stopped here for an afternoon pick me up. It’s a lovely cafe with a great selection of treats and the most friendly staff! We enjoyed our conversation with the barista as we sipped our perfect lattes.
The cafe has plenty of seating both indoor and out,
and has a little gift shop with cute NZ gear. Oh and they offer free wifi 🙌
A.Food was delicious, and staff were kind. They even gave complimentary Easter chocolate eggs to the little ones which was amazingly kind and caring.
R.This charming place just gets better and better. The guy behind the counter is very personable and remembers his customers. I think that the best long black in Canterbury is sold here and a lovely bit of Kiwiana is the cheese and marmite toastie. The perfect stop between the West and the east.
P.It's a cosy cafe with gourmet pies ($6.50 or so) and nice paninis ($8-9). They serve the Hummingbird coffee. Besides the food, they also sell some local products, snacks and souvenirs. It's been our go-to breakfast place every time on the way to Arthur's Pass.
