Z.What a lovely place to visit! Had a quick lunch with a friend on a Thursday and the place was packed! The customer service was pretty good considering how busy and under staff they were; the food was better than expected, proper seafood and the beetroot risotto was cooked to what it supposed to be - moist and flavourful!

S.I don't very often give negative feedback. We'd booked a table but they didn't have one reserved for us and had to scramble to find us seating. We got drinks and had our order taken in a timely manner, but the meal took a very very long time to arrive. Two other tables who were seated after us got their meals first. The food was nice enough but certainly not up to $40+ standard. Very expensive. I had a starter as a main because of this and that was $25. The highlight of the evening was our lovely waitress, Hayley, who did a great job, noticed when we needed water or our wine needed topping up, and didn't clear the table until everyone was finished eating. We'll done to her.
z.The restaurant is located inside Doubletree next to an internal garden. The view out to the garden was very nice and the hotel spends a lot of time to keep it looking immaculate. The inside of the restaurant on the other hand was not immaculate. Although it was not bad it was dated and could use a little maintenance to keep it looking sharp. In particular the carpets, tables and chairs looked dated and the chairs could use some modernizing. The maintenance was minor, such as spots that could use some paint to cover up some damage, such as an internal pillar near our table. Things like this could be easily fixed. The service was good, staff were friendly and efficient. All the staff were nice, but there was one slightly older female staff who was particularity pleasant. The food itself was nice, but nothing amazing. I got the lamb and enjoyed it, it was cooked very well however was just lacking a beautiful sauce or seasoning to make it amazing. My partner had the salmon and likewise enjoyed it but was not wowed. For desert I had the chocolate gateau. It was quite disappointing. The icing in particular just was not particularly nice and ruined the cake. A lighter icing(butter cream or similar) would have been much nicer. All the food was presented very nicely.

J.Good for a group of older senior citizens because waiter service. Separate area enabled notices to be given food choices and meal size good. In cost tea or coffee would have made a great finish.
