Itz a famous choice around Riccarton. An Indian food stall. They do run a buffet but I never know when. Food tastes ok. Customer service is also fair enough.

I'm now a regular here, great staff. Excellant food especially the lamb that falls off the bone and this rice thing they do with lamb pieces in it on their buffet. Awesome. I'm a starter every Friday, great way to start the weekend

Overall good experience! It was our first time there. Good food, nice decoration and very welcoming staffs. We had a great chat with the owner. Convenient place, good amount of parking, reasonably clean toilets. Top in Town has a lot of possibilities to reach the top. Best wishes 👍

I know they are not perfect. But it is worth it for me to give 5 stars. You can enjoy all you can eat delicious Indian foods from starter to dessert. Enjoy the goat or lamb until full, chicken and lot of curry's. The chicken biryani was so delicious. And also free to eat naan bread. It was only 20 dollars for weekdays. Make sure that you are hungry enough. Great staff hospitality, they are fast and helpful. For you Moslem people, this restaurant is HALAL

Top In Town hosted my birthday. It was an amazing experience. The restaurant did a great job at catering and hosting the event and I couldn't thank them enough for their hard work and amazing food. Place is spacious and sitting area is good but they don’t have much vegetarian options for vegans and vegetarian people, also if you preffer North Indian taste you won’t get it there, food is quite simple, it doesn’t amaze you. Went there once, never went again, but should try it once everyone’s taste is different. May be you like it.

Lovely place to bring a group or share with another. We had the buffet and enjoyed the flavours, can't wait to try the goat dishes next time. Other reviews seem confused as to what they expected. My wife felt like it was being back in India with their presentation and food. Highly recommend.

For $20 cant really complain. Food not exactly hot enough. My daughter found a piece of string in her rice I crunched in a piece of grit. There was a bit of rice in my water glass.

If you are seeking best authentic biryani in town, this is the best places on Christchurch. I love the goat biryani here. I literally can taste the original Indian Biryani without leaving New Zealand. You will not be disappointed. Will definitely return for my favourite dishes. Cheers and keep up the marvellous work.

We have been there many times. The food is relatively good as you different items to try. Taste of same food may vary in different days. Price keep changing time to time is one of the disadvantages. Would suggest to add options for changing the plates and cutlery as it is not good to eat every food in the same plate. Desserts are just ok.

The food is good. Especially the biryani. The rice is super fluffy and flavourful. The meat is spiced correctly and abundant. Also definitely try the buffet at least once. You won’t be eating for another day! The manager is the nicest man!! He comes up to all the tables, says hi and spends a few moments with everyone. The wait staff is exceptional as well. Would for sure go there again.

We went there Saturday night for my daughter's birthday dinner with the whole family so about 22 people and we all couldn't fault our experience. They put balloons up in our area they had set for us. The staff were so friendly and accommodating . Even through we couldn't serve ourselves because of the level 2 they kept the food coming to our tables. They food was cooked perfectly nice and fresh and was just delicious. As we sung happy birthday to my daughter they played the birthday song in their language over the speaks which was awesome. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back again. My daughter said she had the best night ever and loved it .

Have been visiting Top In town for more than 6 months, totally love the buffet system. The authentic Hyderabadi Dum Biryani is very tasty and definitely worth the visit. The food in the buffet is tasty and suitable for all as it's not too spicy or too bland.

Very Humble owner Mr.Mohamed, we visited twice during our stay in Christchurch. His staff's are trained well and hospitality they showed to us was amazing. We strongly recommend to try this venue as their very famous for their ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET.

My husband and I love the naan bread. Fresh, crisp and not doughy! This is now our go-to Indian restaurant in Christchurch. I often order biryani which is my favourite. My husband likes the chicken tikka masala. We don't eat much and seldom go for the buffet. But their buffet is value for money. Breakfast buffet is something I like to try next as I like dosai. Lovely owner supported by a team of friendly waitresses. Lots of parking.

Good, but not great, selection from the $20 all-inclusive buffet. Service was very good and the ambience suited the place, with appropriate Indian music playing while a tv playing sport was muted. Note that this restaurant does not have a liquor license but the mango lassi is fantastic.

Visited the christchurch place missing the 2 stars 1 for poor desert options almost no desert really need more options, 2 its a common thing in buffets but food could use being hotter temperature wise, the fold is just warm. There was very little selection of food, and most disappointing there was no butter chicken in the buffet. The table we had was right beside a post and made dining pretty uncomfortable since you had to pull the chair around the side of the table to let the other person in. Too many tables are jammed into the small space. Reasonably priced but given the lack of choice we won't go back.

Great place for Indian food. We've tried their Dinner Buffet in past and found it amazing value for money. They've now started doing Indian Breakfast buffet which was no surprise as good as expected. They serve Choley Bature, Poori Sabzi, Pav Bhaji, Dosa, Idli, Vada, Masala Tea. What more can you ask for amazing price of $15 We met owner Khursheed on both occasions. He really takes much pride in his place. Wish him best of luck. And thank you to our server Shibani for serving with smile - you are great host. Small suggestion for ease of your life: Please do not make habit of serving on table. This will help in easing your service pressure. Rather start using ring bell on buffet when something gets topped up / replaced.

TopinTown is a place which offers a lot of delicious items in their buffet at a relatively cheap price. They're open everyday unless mentioned otherwise by them...even public holidays. They have pretty good service amd their food is amazing as well, offering a lot of variety and options for people with different preferences.
