We had a great experience at this restaurant last night. From the hardworking mask wearing (all night long) staff to the delicious food perfectly cooked and brought to us, we had a brilliant evening. Thanks for squeezing us in when we didn't have booking, it was 100% appreciated. Can absolutely recommend the mussels, so so good.

Kudos to the kitchen. Very impressive for a two man team. The food was amazing. I’m not a pasta person at all, but the Spagetti Con Prawn was delicious.

Just really small critiques. Food was great had the bruschetta to share which was really good. I had the Venuti special pizza. Definitely no complaints. Base was crispy. Toppings were perfect. My companion had the spaghetti marinara. Sauce to pasta ratio was a bit off plus the spaghetti was slightly overcooked. But asked the chef for some bread to mop up the sauce so happy happy. Tiramisu was awesome. Affogato with frangelico for me... coffee was really doing it for me. 😀. Can truly say one of he best Italian meals I've had in Christchurch. Keep up the good work guys 👍

For someone with hearing issues this place has good accoustics that is unusual in modern restuarants so that was a pleasant change. Service was pretty good. I enjoyed the risotto and the tiramisu was right up there. Would definitely go back as there is a lot of meals I would like to try

Never fails to disappoint, I have visited this restaurant for around eight years now, great food, awesome vibe, good drinks selection and great atmosphere. Ideal venue for a catch up meal, celebration or romantic meal for 2

First time coming here after craving Italian, best to book as its not a big place and fills up quick, got lucky calling 10 minutes ahead for a table for 2. Staff are wonderful, cheerful and happy to help, orders are taken quicken and plates cleared efficiently. It can be a bit of a wait for mains as theyre cooked fresh but worth the wait. Everything on the menu looks good and theres a big drink selection too. 10/10!

Clean / smart looking restaurant, enjoyed the ample table space with plenty of arm room for everyone.. Highlights out of the "starters" were the Minestrone soup and the surprisingly light and delicate herb & garlic pizza bread ( order double !! )

Had an amazing dinner here in a big group on Saturday night. Staff were very friendly and attentive and for the most part drinks came out quickly as they were busy. Only downside was the very little glass pour of the wine for $12 per glass would have like to see a bit more in the glass for that price. Meal however was amazing.

Nice place, really delicious starters and friendly staff. Mains took a long time to come out and my pasta dish ordered was really plain, was expecting more flavour.

The service and wait time for meals needs some serious attention. To make matters worse when the food did eventually arrive it was not worth the wait. The seafood was overcooked and very rubbery...Overall a big disappointment and would not recommend.

We had a beautiful meal at Venuti, the food is freshly prepared and presented, and the wait staff were professional and friendly. I had bruschetta as an entree, followed by a delicious risotto, being a lover of Italian fare, while my husband had prawns in a lemon garlic sauce followed by a steak with salad. All food was delicately and deliciously seasoned. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Had dinner at Venuti tonight for Valentines. The service was great, very lovely and humorous staff! The manager (I believe) was walking around greeting and talking to people which I thought was really lovely! It was a busy night so there was a bit of a wait but it was well worth it, the food was gorgeous, from starters to dessert. All 5 stars. Throughly enjoyed my night. Was a beautiful atmosphere. We will be there every Valentine’s Day! :)

The food and service was both 5/5, top quality. I had Pizza Bread, Spaghetti Bolognese, and Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Gelato. Every course was delicious. The service was very friendly and quick considering we went there on a very busy night. The atmosphere and lighting was great. We will definitely be going there again.

We had a party of five for dinner at Venuti...it was our first time there. The restaurant had a really nice ambiance and friendly helpful staff. The meals were all delicious and well presented . We would recommend this restaurant for a lovely Italian meal and I am sure we will return

Very good carbonara. And fish. Food comes straight from the kitchen which is just over the back wall. Minor problem.in that it arrives very hot. Dont start eating too soon. Let tje flavours settle. I found that with the carbonara. It got better as it cools. And my wifes grilled gurnard was succulent and tasty- perfect. Statter of mussels was also delicious. Plump and fresh.

A lovely gem Italian restaurant. My entree was mussels with bacon, garlic & creamy chilli tomato. The main was chicken breast grilled w apricot & Camembert. And the dessert was upside down semi-baked passion fruit cheesecake.

The ravioli was fantastic, and what I would consider a reasonable sized portion that left enough room for the dessert. The dessert calzone had an excellent flavour balance, the ricotta mellowing out the sweetness of the Nutella without diminishing its flavour. Unfortunately the ice-cream melted rather quickly and so I had to eat quickly to avoid soggy-ing. Just means I'll have to try it again to be sure it really did taste that good. Ambience was a little on the dark side, still very cosy, but a few more dim lights around the room would have helped. The staff were wonderful and exceptionally friendly.
