N.Couldn't get pizza today but everything else we wanted was avaliable. Super yummy food, small wait as we came during a busy time but otherwise a 10/10 experience! Highly reccomend as a place to stop while in Coromandel! Would 100% come back again! We had the garlic/white wine mussel pot, seafood tomato chilli pasta, seafood basil pesto pasta and kids chicken tenders. Yum!
R.Absolutely amazing food. Took my wife here for lunch and was absolutely amazed with the food, service and atmosphere. Dozen battered oysters and seafood platter for two and even though we as farmers are big eaters this was enough to fill is up

S.Returning here after a great experience 5 years ago, this was again everything we hoped it would be. A perfect day to sit out under a tree, with absolutely delicious food (recommend the hot mussel half shells) and really good service.
E.Canteen food at restaurant prices. The food is all pre-prepared and warmed up. I had the seafood fettuccine, this had a generous helping of seafood, but the pasta was very overcooked and the sauce overwhelmed the taste of the other ingredients. The souvlaki was greasy, and seemed to have been fried. Fish and chips were ok but very ordinary for $28
C.Very juicy fat fresh big mussels!!!wonderful!!!and nice environment. So relaxing to eat outdoor and enjoy the view and air. Also they have other meat choices except for mussels. Deserve coming!
C.4 for lunch 2 meals ok. 2 not happy. Mussel pot garlic and cream over cooked sauce watery. Other chicken breast $30 should of had cooked veges not salad and chips expensive dish. Serving tables not a job for the owner. Poor service . They need to up there game.
J.I had the spaghetti marinara, which had a generous serving of Mussels, but the flavour was lacking in the sauce. I also ordered a gun smoke beer from the tap, which came flat (no carbonation in the beer). I asked if that was usual for the beer and they said no, so they gave me another from the bottle, which I thought was nice as it was a larger, however they just got it from the shelf, so it was not cold. Disappointing as the beer had a good flavour.
Pro: the location is pretty good, with nice scenery
M.Very friendly service, local beer brewed on-site, and incredible food. This place ruined me for mussel chowder; I can never have it again as it will never be as good! Partner had the mussel pot with bacon and white wine sauce, which was also delicious.
We turned up for an early lunch just before 12pm and the place was still full with the breakfast crowd (breakfast menu finishes at 11am). There were no tables so the staff split some others off to make a new one for us. Very friendly and attentative wait staff. Usually there would be heaps more seating when including the outdoor area, which also had an outdoor bar, but the rain meant everyone was siting inside.
They have a box of toys for kids and a high chair (albeit just one as far as I could see). Bathroom facilities were smart. Heaps of parking. Nice outdoor area. Beer brewed on-site.
S.The mussels and fish and chips we're tasty. The staff very friendly but service sadly not up to scratch. Maybe it was the holiday rush. Unfortunately we were not the only ones. Service was slow. Orders such as the fish and chips got served to customers who came later. Waiters seem not to know where people were sitting and orders were also lost. Asking a few times it seems we had to stand over the kitchen to receive our missing dish. One the should invest in wireless system so customers can collect their own food or waiters should be familiar with all locations. Two the kitchen needs to cook in strict sequence or not stray too far from arrival times. Three some staff training would not go amiss before a busy holiday.

N.We all really enjoyed our lunch here. Service was friendly and helpful. Had the white wine and cream mussels, very tasty. Drinks were good especially the Gun Smoke tap beer. Overall a great experience. We will be back.

Really nice pizza ,the mussels were the bomb, and the seafood cowder, very yum .

I.I'm truly not a big fan of mussels and seafood. But mussels here are very juicy and not smelly, and well treated and I loved it so much. Great food going with amazing view and I'll recommend it to friends.

E.Delicious food and great outdoor seating. We had the mussel pot with Thai green curry sauce - amazing, with the salmon citrus salad and fries on the side and a couple of the MK brewing co beers. And to top it off, there was live music which made for the perfect late lunch! We’ll be back!

However, 42mins wait for 1 x chowder and 1 x bowl of fries and 1 x plate of mussels is unacceptable. None of these items take very long to prepare. A shame, as this place could be really amazing if the kitchen was more organized.

D.The SAGANAKI Prawns were beautiful as were the MusselPotz 10out of 10 BUT…… 75 minutes to get the meals is ridiculous and looks like this is a common theme. Will be back again as the food is so good but will make sure we aren't starving hungry next time.

The food was A1 I had a pot of Thai green curry mussels which were very tasty hubby had chicken ?? On skewers which came with chips salad and veges.

T.Amazing place was there on Sunday alot of people,staff advised us of a 45 minute wait which we accepted. Meals came within 20min and were delicious very friendly staff. Homegrown ginger beer from Giovani was outstanding. Will definitely be back again.

D.Really great food. Wife and kids loved the Laksa, not always on the menu though. Steamed mussels are a must do. And they brew their own beer and gingerbeer (which I love). Closed for the winter though :(

S.I went there with my mum who was visiting from Italy. We are used to good food and we both agreed that the mussels we had here were by far the best ever mussels in New Zealand, so fresh and tender they were melting in our mouths!!!.....we got the mussel pot as well as the different flavored half shells.....Oh my goodness it is deliciousness on a plate!!!

A.This place is unreal. I came over from Scotland and we travelled all around NZ. As big mussel eaters, these were the best we have tried and came back almost every day we were up in coromandel! Could not recommend more!
