The chef is doing some great work here. The most delicious breakfast I've tried so far on my trip. Not only breakfast but the atmosphere and views are spectacular. We are so lucky to travel when there no crowds and enjoy such places ourselves.

We enjoyed the porchetta sandwich and vegetarian pizza for lunch. We must've arrived at a busy time when there was only one staff member at the counter. We were given a menu to look at and ordered at the counter. Later more staff were present and were doing table service. The mesculin salad was nice but quite heavily dressed.

Amazing dishes, must try their Funghi pizza and vegetarian lasagne was beautiful. Absolutely be a great choice to have a glass of wine with them. Place was crowded and busy but worthy to wait for it.

Fantastic Italian cuisine! The special risotto and the lasagne were perfect, and a nice garlic bread pizza before didn’t hurt. If you’re driving through the area make sure to stop here. The town is also very lovely and quiet and sets the mood for a relaxing, casual lunch.

Extremely pleased with the service. I was there for lunch. Ordered the homemade pasta and ciabatta. Got served in less than 15 minutes. Whole meal was exactly as I was hoping, top notch. Staff were super friendly and quick on their feet. Reasonably priced meals, plenty of seating options and amazing service. Would like to see payWave as payment mode though. Overall, left content and happy.

Really Delicious sorbet. Amused that the lady behind the counter told me it was Lemon Sorbet and didnt know the other tub flavours beside her in the cabinet. After ordering I found the menu out of visibility and that the sorbet was Lime. The table service I got was good considering how much the place seemed to be in chaos. Yum fresh food but staff seem to be letting the place down- I literally witnessed the manager say he would cover a customer's bill because of the way the family was treated by in-house staff.

Gem of Cromwell old precinct! Really satisfied with the brunch offerings and the food taste amazing! Coffee was also superb and service was friendly and really quick too! We made the right decision stopping by Cromwell as not only we get to enjoy this wonderful brunch but also the small quiet town that has so much character!

Great food - shame about the service. Turned up waited to be seated only to be told by the waiter leaning against the bar texting that he’ll be with me in a moment…. The other waitress gets his attention only for him to tell her that he had told me he’d be with me in a bit…. I was eventually seated only to be treated as an inconvenience….. As I say shame the food is great cause the service left a whole lot to be desired!

Good food, great location but slow on timing. I was here for lunch today and on a tight timeline at work and ordered a Caesar salad. The salad was delicious and the location was well put together with a rustic Italian vibe overlooking the water but it took more than half an hour from ordering the food to when it was put in front of me. I wouldn’t normally expect to pay $20 for a simple salad and have a half hour wait. Any other time it would be no issue so I will definitely be back at some point when I have time to spare.

Amazing little treasure in the historical district of Cromwell. We loved the food and tea. The service was also really good. The spaghetti was yummy medium sized portion but still sharable. The cesar salad was a delightful mix of poached eggs, greens, and meat. We would definitely return.

Head down to Pioneer village and you will find a taste of Italy in a small cottage. Charming inside and the staff were attentive and courteous with the sounds of Italian vocals playing in the background. The food is reasonably priced and they also offer vegetarian and children’s menu.along with usual Italian fare of pizza and pasta. Civo coffee was very good, and the polenta fries were scrumptious . I did note the desserts which looked absolutely Devine but it was lunch.

A little gem in Cromwell Historic Precinct. Really good italian food and wine. We had dinner outside with a view on the mountain and lake. The good was excellent. I took the award winning gnocchi lamb ragu and it was succulent.

Food was great, but our whole experience was let down by 3 uncaring front of house staff, they were far more interested in there own conversation that everyone could hear, even people sat outside, than looking after there customers, which pay there wages, for this reason we will not be returning

This place has great food and a really nice feel to the dining area. The staff are efficient and friendly and the views when dining outside in the summer are spectacular. Great italian food, desserts, coffee and wine. Wheel chair access inside is a no go, but there is an outside dining area with large umbrellas for keeping off the summer sun. This place is popular and fills up fast, so be sure to book in advance.

Best breakfast I’ve had around the world! We accidentally found this place after an unplanned stop at Cromwell. Beautifully situated, small cozy place with outdoor sitting where we enjoyed the autumn weather and lake views. We ordered granola with yoghurt, avocado ricotta/feta mash, toast with ham, coffee and a banana smoothie. All super healthy and filled with flavour to the last mouthful. Our only regret is that we had to continue with our road trip so we didn’t get to try the brunch and dinner menu! Ridiculously good! And of course the service was absolutely lovely and fast, which made the whole experience even better.

Slow service. Yes it was busy but service struggled to cope. Took 10 mins to get my order and 20 mins before my food arrived. Orderes the spaghetti. Supposedly home made pasta but it felt like it wasn't cooked well. Chewy bits but if you cook it more, it would be soggy. To much salt in the meatlovers pizza. Overall it's ok but not worth the money.
