R.We booked through "First Table" and on that day there was a power cut. The staff were so kind to us and allowed us to keep the reservation and come back the following day and we are so glad we did. The staff were lovely and the food was delicious, overall the dinner was great. Thank you.

p.We cycled out to this restaurant from Cromwell. We were surprised the restaurant was set so far back from the water and had no water views at all. We drenched our thirst with Cider and had the fettucine and mussels for lunch, topped off with flat white and tea. Meals were promptly served and was delicious. The mussels were rather small size though.
C.We went there recently with friends & sat outside. We were very surprised to read a sign saying we had to order at the bar. Eventually,our food order was taken at our table after we commented,but several times one of us had to go to the bar to order drinks. Our drinks order was forgotten once! The foreign waiter seemed to take a dislike to us,and bordered on rudeness when talking to us,which we found disconcerting! The menu doesn't appear to have changed much,if at all,in a very long time.
Unfortunately we won't be in a hurry to return.
J.What an incredible restaurant. Cedric, the Italish (1/2 Spanish and 1/2 Italian) waiter was incredible. Attentive, knowledgeable and wonderful. Really loved our food and Cedric’s service - will be back tomorrow.
R.One of the finer restaurants in Cromwell. The food is fantastic and full of flavor. Atmosphere could use a little work — it isn’t quite as upscale as you’d expect for the menu (paper napkins; a noisy, casual bar in amongst the dining room; small and large size options for drinks, like you’d see at a chain restaurant). The décor is a bit of a hodgepodge, no real theme here. Service is friendly but again, doesn’t really reach the level of “upscale” to match the price point of meals on offer. Overall, a positive experience. Try the Carnivore Platter — it’s a staple. Limited but still decent wine list.
H.Bit of a wait on food but quality was excellent. Servings are large but they supply a take home box if you ask. Recommend the pancakes
S.This is the restaurant affiliated with Heritage Collection Lake Resort. It's very convenient if you're staying in the hotel and the atmosphere is nice. Of the 3 dishes I ordered, 1 was delicious, 2 were just average. Our server was friendly, but the kitchen forgot about our order (or so the server said), despite there being only 4 other people in the restaurant, so our bread appetizer took nearly an hour to arrive at the table. No offer to make up for the mistake though.

K.My partner and I stayed for one-night here and ordered takeaway as we just wanted to relax in our room after a long travel day. I can't heap enough praise on how fabulous the meal was. We had the ribs and filet along with the apple crumble and brownie with sorbet. Every dish and side was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!
As a southern American I'm a huge fan of ribs and just want to give an extra shout out to the chef on these. They made me so happy and honestly a little home sick. The portion size was amazing- my partner (quite enthusiastically was "forced" to help me finish).

R.Staff was very friendly and service was good, but in the end of the day this is a hotel bar serving overpriced bar food and drinks. Ok if you're staying locally, but hardly worth the drive from Cromwell.

F.Lucky we are the first table, coz the whole restaurant is packed with people when we left. Food is great... Beef brisket slider is delicious, steak is cooked perfectly. Good portion of pork ribs, unfortunately the second rib is a bit dry!! Fish we order smell a bit funny though, but the side potato mesh is delicious. Love the chips, crispy and nicely seasoned. Will comeback again!!
M.I would have rated 3.5 if it were an option. Had the Orange Roughy which was pretty good. Girlfriend had the Lamb Burger which was unfortunately overpowered by a stronger cheese and a very sweet bbq sauce. A very strange combination that complete masked the lamb flavour.. too bad. The beer selection was not very good.
l.Had a joint birthday there. 1 year old and 4 year old. Great location, we were out the back of the restaurant behind the park. They made us amazing platters and their food is delicious. I have nothing to fault.

Y.A group of us had a meal last night at the Moorings. We all had something different and each meal was really good. It is a nice varied menu, just a bit different and a good selection to choose from. It was lovely, there were quite a few other diners, which is nice for a Wednesday night and the atmosphere was good. The deserts were delicious and a good night was had by all.
C.Everything in Cromwell was very quiet so we decided to go to this restaurant and we were so glad we did! Even though they were really busy Sian sat us outside in front of the fire until a table became available. Probably the best night we have had in ages, the outside seating area was wonderful and warm, we had drinks and nibbles in front of the fire then in for a very special meal as soon as they could fit us in. Really recommend this Restaurant it was a great experience, meal and service was awesome!
C.Had dinner here on the 13th of may. Dinner was amazing cant fault the food at all. Food would get 5 stars easy. Staff on the other hand didn't know the menu. Service was pretty slow. Was told couldn't book a table until 7.15 but yet the place was dead then tried telling us we hadn't booked when we walked in earlier and booked face to face as they wouldn't answer the phone. Amazing food but your staff are a let down.
B.We ate there tonight, we booked and they could only take us at 7.30pm. Four adults and 5 children. We had to ask for menu's after 10 minutes and it was an hour from ordering until meals arrived. Food was only okay and we felt was overpriced. The children did love the play area outside
