Best, most consistent, KFC in the North Island by a long shot. Crispy, and most importantly, tasty wicked wings, hot and tasty chips. Every time. Well worth the drive from Napier.

Only let down is their till kept freezing and when wanting to purchase another food item or drink you had to wait 5 minutes for them to reboot the darn system so you could pay for the item. Needs to fix their payment system as not everyone has the time to wait

Better than your average KFC. KFC Dannevirke is located on the southern end of High St on SH2. At the time it was built it was the smallest KFC in New Zealand, the first of the boutique franchise branches. It has a drive through and both indoor and outdoor seating. It provides the typical range of KFC fare at their typical prices and standards of delivery. Happen to be passing through Dannevirke and fancy some chicken? This is your place.

As I live in waipukurau this is the closest KFC that I like unless I travel thru to Napier. The chicken is always very moist and crispy plenty of potato with the gravy as it should be and the staff are very friendly

We had good fresh food here. Service was prompt and friendly. Whole place was clean, including the toilet. Edit: Stopped in again on Sunday. This time the floor was littered with scraps. A girl cleaned the tables but left the scraps on the floor.

Ordered a wicked lunch for $6.20 charged me $7.50 and gave me a diet Coke, how could she get my order wrong? I was the only person in there. Lol. Other that that food was fresh.

The wife and I live in Waipukurau. We can either go to Hastings or Dannevirke KFC. We tried Hastings and we choose to go to DANNEVIRKE over Hastings. WHY, because Dannevirke KFC is more consistent with there food. The chicken, coleslaw and potatoe n gravy is a lot nicer. The staff are always friendly and smiling and happy to please. Keep up the great work Dannevirke.

A smaller store, and occasionally a little slower that you might expect in-store from KFC in general, but the staff are always nice and the food is exactly as you'd expect. I'm happy to stop here when-ever travelling through.
