10 of us dropped in after tramping at Silverpeaks. A small cafe but has drinks and scones and about 3 or 4 type of cakes. Scones were good as we have found since covid that the scones around are heavy and seem dense to what they used to be. These ones were like the old type. Light and not dense. They cut them in half and put in a toaster or oven for a bit and they were really good. A good local place to support. I never took much notice if there was a menu there.

Great place for coffee, everyone should visit on the way to Dunedin. Pretty cozy place, great coffee and sitting. Should sit in and spend some time. Cheers

This place is an absolute gem. Not only does it showcase incredible art, it hosts bands in a comfortable and intimate setting.. Inside and out.
The chef produces fantastic food and the ambiance is so relaxed..
If you want an afternoon of friendly people, good music and great food in a beautiful and welcoming village, this is the place for you. If you come visit around lunchtime on the first Sunday of the month then you can also wander the quirky Waitati Market.
I love the place!..

Great little venue in the middle of nowhere. We enjoyed good pizza and listened to some jazz on a Sunday arvo and met the new owner Jean, a friendly chap and great cook.
