Reviews of Careys Bay Historic Hotel
H.
Lovely place. We shared a delicious seafood platter. The staff were very obliging and the mulled wine was pretty good.
S.
Very good service. We had dinner here on a cool summer evening. Lovely warm conservatory dining area. Our meals were generous in size and in my case the "fish of the day" was excellent. I would highly recommend this place for a meal.
R.
History meets the water at the Careys Bay Hotel. Sit and enjoy the scenery with the boats laying idle at the wharves and the Otago peninsula across the water. Inside or out the food and drinks are great 👍.
I.
We were unsure of eating here as it was more expensive than the cheap lunch we wanted but it looked so nice we gave it a go. The staff were friendly and helpful despite being obviously busy. The food was lovely with really generous portions. You don't mind paying more that you anticipated when you get quality food and great service. Thanks so much.
L.
Was surprised at this little hotel.
A warm welcome was given and staff very pleasant and friendly.
The choice of food was well thought out and had something for everyone without being too extensive. The food was delicious, attractive and well plated, and the choice of wines and beers excellent.
The ambiance of this historical hotel was notable and interesting,so much so I wanted there to be a small book that I could buy,but unfortunately no historian has actually wrote one yet dispite the extensive amount of pictures and information available, maybe someone might see this and offer to write one😉. It's a must see if you are ever in Dunedin and need a nice afternoon out for a meal.
L.
great experience with food and the view of the bay. We ordered catch of the day and lamb shank from the menu for late lunch. It was very very good. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast . Will be back for another time.
S.
Yummy food
Extensive menus
Lovely staff
K.
Superb atmosphere. A gem of a place near Port Chalmers. Well serviced indoor and outdoor dining plus nice selection of local and craft beers :&)
R.
We had a great seafood platter lunch, outside was a bit cold and damp but in the restaurant it was warm and toasty with the wood open fire going nicely. The ambience in this lovely old bloody is great with a lovely outlook out over the fishing fleet harbour. We were advised by the staff at our hotel The Fable that this was a neat drive and destination for lunch, and good advice it was as well.
S.
Fantastic service, amazing muelled wine and cosy atmosphere
M.
The interior really takes you back. This restaurant is on the more expensive side of dining-you're looking at spending about $50 on a meal here with a drink if you want to be full.
S.
Lovely restored old hotel in Carey's Bay, just 5 minutes from Port Chalmers. Lovely views out into the bay. The pub has a good selection of drinks, and the restaurant serves good quality food. Our fish and chips was great (sole - a delicacy). Make sure to say hello to "Boo" the pub cat, who seems oblivious to all the noise and people around him (or her)
J.
Beautiful lunch here with friends today. We were seated in the conservatory and I had a great view of the rear garden. The food was good and served promptly. Loved the sense of history in the building.
I.
Highly recommend a trip out to this spot, excellent, prompt service, and couldn't fault our food. Family of five (4 adults and 12 week old) we shared the large seafood platter, which was just the right size, unfortunately the chowder had sold out, which I wouldn't mark a restaurant down on, we'll just have to come back another time to try it!
B.
A great experiance. A birthday lunch. great staff. The food was very very good although those that had the curry thought they could have gone up a level in heat.
We had taken a cake and it was bought to the table on a pretty cake stand and candles.
R.
Great little historic hotel facing the harbor. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful. Stopped in to hail a cab and had an excellent cold craft brew. Did not see the rooms but lunch menu looked great with local caught seafood.
J.
Food good service ok. First waiter not sure about what drinks they had. Food was nice and didn't wait too long
T.
Fantastic meal, was worth the drive out
C.
Amazing, really lovely service, lovely food, very popular, great comfort. Parking is okay as well. Well worth the return for more ..
F.
We have the most delicious seafood lunch today. Thank you to the team for making our lunch truly rememberable.Highly recommend
M.
Fantastic meal and spot. Seafood platter was perfect to compliment the location. Highly recommend the drive
M.
We went there with some friends . It was delicious . You have a vegan menu and the normal menu. Lots of choice. Nice spot !
g.
Absolutely loved the historic hotel, ambience, food was delicious and staff friendly. Couldn't ask for more. They've got an amazing menu, will have to make few more trips to try the rest
K.
Food is delicious, staff are friendly and welcoming, highly recommend here
B.
Such a warm cute old pub. Amazing stonework outside and I bet it is the place to have a pint outside on a summer's day/evening with the gorgeous view they have. The vegan menu is very cool and exciting. There are mains and desserts and they make their own vegan ice cream. The staff are cool and lovely. We sat on a couch by the fire and had a drink and a dessert each. Lovely to chat away a drizzly Sunday afternoon. Can't wait to take all my friends. Wish I had gotten married there.
J.
Brilliant food and atmosphere here. Highly recommend!
f.
From the Cruise Ship Dock take a right and at the end of the lane you will find this Amazing small restaurant ... Friend staff and great food not to miss if you are in Dunedin for lunch ,worth it after a those sea days 😎
R.
Beautiful place friendly staff that look after everyone, Food is excellent.
C.
Delicious food and wonderful service. Make sure to try the fresh squeezed juices! Will definitely be back.
Fun fact: If you are on the cruise ships, they will take you back to the ship. It's a 15-20 minute walk back if you'd rather have a stroll.
B.
Excellent place to spend a couple of relaxed and enjoyable hours with friends. The staff have mastered excellent service with a welcoming smile.
K.
I absolutely love this place, food awesome, staff friendly, lovely atmosphere 10 out of 10
J.
A great option for lunch! Boasting an assortment of high quality local seafood while also catering a variety of non seafood options. This historic hotel is both rich in character and harbours sweeping views of the ocean. Recommend
S.
Loved this delicious meal and stunning view. Will definitely be back.
D.
Really love Careys Bay Hotel. Excellent Kai Moana and food all round. Picturesque setting
J.
Beautiful food in beaut location. Great service and GF options!
D.
What an amazing place this was. Even on a day not as stunning as we had this would be worth a visit. We will be back!
B.
Visiting Dunedin from Auckland, Great lunch and service for two, lovely spot in Port Chalmers to stop and eat.
K.
Lovely location and Cafe. Great food. Fish pie delicious.
R.
Such a great establishment. The food is always exceptional and the staff are professional and friendly. They have great local beers on tap and the classic kiwi pub atmosphere is ideal, complete with fireside dining. I love taking people here knowing that it's consistently exceptional.
K.
Great food at great prices. Highly recommend 👌
R.
Managed to grab a table outside on a beautiful sunny day. The food and service were great.
R.
Location and historic ambience sets this restaurant apart. Superb food, great value and well priced. During the warmer months sit on the seats across the road and enjoy the Harbour views.
W.
We were so fortunate to have chosen the Carey's Bay Hotel for our small wedding in June. The wonderful care Sam took over our arrangements and the wedding day itself was just fabulous. The food was great and we all our had a great time.
N.
Lovely food, great environment.
K.
Loved our meal here. Lots of vegan options! The best vegan menu we have seen for a while with strong seafood choices as well.
The jackfruit roti is devine and hubby had fish pie. We both loved our meals. Good beverage options and great service.
J.
Good food, bar staff were very Friendly
R.
Great seafood must have the ika mata and treat yourself to the seafood platter. Large could easily finish per person smaller people would go for the medium
J.
Great vegan menu, the Thai curry was to die for. The staff and really friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommend 👌
K.
A truly beautiful bayside setting and historic building, well worth the trip from town. The staff are friendly even when overwhelmed, the food is crowd-pleasing and well presented with vegetarian options; plenty of seating options indoor or outside, with great facilities. The best group meal venue in the area.
R.
Had the Seafood Curry and was the best I've ever had. Great work keep it up
A.
Really great! Would recommend all the various sea food dishes as they were excellent! Service was great and the place was very warm considering how cold of a day it was in Dunedin. I would certainly go back again! And the price is very very reasonable. It was the best restaurant we went to in Dunedin.
D.
About our fourth time here and always enjoy the meals here, very good seafood on the menu. Only downside was the noise from the bar area where several people were trying to outdo each other, which made conversations difficult, however did enjoy the evening here.
k.
What a fantastic night. Wonderful meals and tried quick brown fox liquor for the first time. Mmmm. We will be back. Thanks. The young lady with the blue hair was very accommodating. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality.
C.
We came down as part of a work social trip on the monarch. When we arrived the meals came out quick and the staff were super friendly. Best lamb shanks I've had. Highly recommend!
D.
Nice place to eat .My Wife like the Seafood Chowder.
T.
Outstanding food and ambience! Highly recommend!
T.
Amazing gem!!
Super chill with a great atmosphere and view of the port.
C.
Food and drink was great.
M.
The ploughman platter was fantastic. Absolutelyoved the hummus. Service was great too.
J.
Great place for lunch. Friendly staff . Great food yummy soup. Great view.
P.
Great place for a coffee or a wine on a nice afternoon. Quite often drop in on our scooter rides. Friendly staff and the coffee is excellent.
D.
We stopped in for a late lunch we were greeted by an awesome host...we sat in a great spot under a heater in the patio area...we were happy with the beer selection on offer...plenty of choice on the menu ... not disappointed with what we had to eat..
J.
Professional establishment. I had friendly staff. Meal was very well presented. Alittle too much garlic in the fish dish. Comparable and realistic prices for wine and food. Location is by the sea but a busy road.
J.
Tasty food. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Reasonable selection of craft and classic beers. Quick easy service
B.
Delicious food, friendly staff, amazing location. This time we had tuna steak and jackfruit roti both were delicious. Dessert was ginger pudding and creme brulee, exquisite
S.
Love this place! Special vegan menu and wines, great staff, great atmosphere.
K.
Lovely food and meals. The scenic views are AMAZING too
D.
Fantasic meals and decor at this quaint historic pub. Recently renovated into a modern restaurant with a roaring fire in the winter. The chowder is my favourite. Thank you!!!
R.
It was great really enjoyed my day
j.
Good food, chowder full of seafood, fish n chips great, coleslaw yummo!
Warm friendly atmosphere, great view of harbour.
Staff helpful and friendly 😊
T.
Three adults and one child for dinner last Friday night. We all had seafood mains and they were delicious. The fish and chips was the best I'd ever tasted from a restaurant. Good value as well. The waitresses were very friendly and welcoming. We were quite hungry and thought the place looked great from the outside. Such a cool location.
T.
Food is constantly good. Service is always good. Favorite dish is salt and pepper squid. Tried most items on menu. The seafood is fresh and delicious.
L.
This was very good, nice people, good atmosphere and superb food.
S.
Beautiful building, lovely food.
F.
Fantastic food.
Service was average. There was a fly in the restaurant (annoyingly hanging around our table) informed the waiter/bartender but she couldn't be bothered chasing it out 😖
A.
Lovely seafood, local beers and great people. Always a top spot to enjoy a long lunch, an afternoon brew or a family evening.
R.
Lovely food, staff friendly
G.
Reasonable food and price but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Although the place was rather quiet, we still waited many minutes too long for our order to be taken. The service that was received wasn't with a smile which was pretty much expected given our whole experience.
C.
Love it. Great when I feel like treating myself. Go with a friend and order the platter, you won’t regret it. The drive was pretty on a good day too.
S.
Beautiful location and building. Staff were super friendly. We had dinner there and the food was great.
R.
Beautiful views, old historic pub, great food and coffee. Very restful and lovely staff.
D.
Staff are warm and friendly. Food is great. My second time here. Their seafood platter and seafood chowder is definitely a must-try!
m.
A series of these photos taken during the sunset at about 5:08pm with five of us look on, across from the harbourside road adjacent to the Port Chalmers area tonight. Ю.
Amazing food... amazingly tasty... beautifull place. Good service. Good wi-fi connection😅😅😅
C.
Great atmosphere great food
S.
Friendly team great spot for a weekend lunch
M.
Great service, spectacular food at a decent price. Couldn't fault it at all. This place seems like a bit of a hidden gem!
L.
With a view like this on a tropical sunny autumn day, you cannot go wrong with a delicious seafood basket and washing it down with an icy lemon lime and bitters drink! Amazing 👏
T.
This historic hotel has great craft beers on tap and stunning views across the harbour. Helpful staff and nicely cooked meals
N.
Really nice staff. Nice bread with seafood chowder.
L.
Not sure if they've changed chef's, but found lunch not quite as good as it used to be.
V.
Such a gorgeous and iconic place to visit and dine at. Carey's is well known to Dunedin locals, but those from further afield shouldn't miss out on it's seafood and other menu choices either. They also have a great selection of vegetarian options, so don't hesitate. It's well worth the trip out to Port Chalmers to eat at Carey's
R.
Lovely, warm and inviting. We had a meal there and would definitely do so again.
G.
Good meal.
Tidy and excellent service
R.
Unfortunately I can only rate 4/5 for a couple or reasons. I really like the place, it looks beautiful and it's in a great location. I had a quick drink and a bowl of chips when here last night. It wasn't overly busy but the chips took a good 20-30 minutes to come out and for $6 it was half the size I have received in other similar places. They did taste good so that was a bonus.
The staff were friendly and the building was kept in a good condition so I would still recommend to come here for a drink and a meal.
G.
This place gets 5 for location alone!! Beautiful little historical place for a bite and/or a drink.
R.
Great place for lovely food and quiet atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and obliging. Lived in west harbour for years and have always gone to town for meals. Since covid we changed our strategy and support the locals as much as possible. Thanks team.
S.
We only had coffee and a slice both delicious the meals looked hearty and tasty pity we weren't hungry. Sat outside, a beautiful tranquil spot
D.
Lovely atmosphere, service was slow to begin with yet staff were great. Bread and spreads were delicious and seafood chowder was average. I would have liked to have seen more seafood in it e g. Mussles, fish , scallops etc.The biggest disappointment was with the seafood platter. While the squid and blue cod were cooked to perfection and presentation looked amazing, all the shell fish were over cooked and shrivelled. Would not recommend paying $50 for this dish.
G.
Good food, good service with a nice ambience and cosy decor.
H.
Best seafood, really nice staff.
Y.
Seafood platters are pretty tasteless. Fresh though. Nice atmosphere
C.
Went here for family lunch and it was really nice! Luckily they had a vegan option on the menu but unfortunately it was a little small (the tempura vegetables). Would be nice if there was something a bit more substantial but still enjoyed it! Beautiful views in a lovely setting.
L.
Great food, service and atmosphere
D.
Great location, friendly staff and the food is ok
J.
Hidden gem A+
J.
Lovely old building. Very inviting inside and loads of seats and tables for diners. We made a quick stop in the morning for coffee after visiting Aromoana. Service was good and so was the Chai Latte that I had. We were hoping to get back to try their lunch menu but ran out of time.
S.
Took over an hour to get my meal which was the special of the day. It was a nice meal.
It was around 1.30-2 when we arrived on a Sunday. Staff were apologetic
N.
Love this place. Gorgeous location with amazing food. Can't beat their crispy chicken salad. Great Outdoor seating overlooking the water on a nice day but also roomy tables inside. My regular place on a Sunday...nice easy 15 min drive from Dunedin
K.
A great place, we like to visit when we are in the area. We caught the public bus from Dunedin for something different, the bus stopped right outside. Warm and inviting. Good coffee and wedges were nice.
M.
Went for lunch on a Sunday with my wife.
It was our first time at the restaurant. When we arrived it was very busy but we managed to get a table after a short wait.
Nice cosy atmosphere inside -- especially on such a cold day!
I had battered blue cod with seasonal vegetables and my wife had king salmon poached in a lobster bisque, also with seasonal vegetables.
Given the reputation of the restaurant the dishes didn't quite live up to the high expectations which we had, nor the price.
Yes, they were good. The fish was very fresh and cooked perfectly. But overall each dish could have done with a little more attention to detail and adjustment of seasoning.
L.
Really lovely staff. Great location. Lots of parking available out the front. The chairs outdoors even came with blankets to keep the cool air off. Great menu, predominantly made up of local seafood options. In addition to having beer, wine and general alcohol options they also serve tea and coffee. They have soy milk too:) would definitely recommend. It's not very cheap (c. $18-45 for a main meal) but the meals are very well done, so it's less of a rough pub place and more of a nice place to dine. Having said that dress attire is very mixed. Cyclists and hikers and formal diners all eat here.
N.
Lovely service, and an excellent vegan menu available. Well worth the short trip from town.
N.
Ordered all day breakfast glad I shared it as it was huge.
l.
We have visited this hotel twice in the last week for lunch. We enjoyed their bar snacks which are very substantial and could be shared between 2. Highly recommend a seafood platter and the ploughman's platter. Staff are very friendly and helpful and I would not hesitate to return again.
j.
Great setting. Pretty good food. Usually a fine guest ale or two on tap.
S.
Great old establishment, alive with history and atmosphere, open fires burning on a cold autumn day, excellent meal and great customer service.
J.
This was one of our all time favorites! Gorgeous flavour packed seafood, beautiful views, and great service. A lovely evening
k.
Went for a works dinner. Staff were warm, friendly and most helpful. Food was amazing and everyone throughly enjoyed the gorgeous atmosphere with stunning views. Thank you Careys Bay, we certainly will be back!
R.
Great setting, service and coffee good. Experience was spoilt by below average soup of the day, leek and potato which had no taste.
D.
Awsum place great staff extremely friendly & helpful I go on a regular basis great destination peaceful quiet great views u can sit outside, in the glasshouse (as I call it) or in the restored bar. Fires inside & out for wen its cold.
M.
Great coffee friendly staff. Fantastic
K.
Went for for Valentine's day. They had a 5 course set menu. It was amazing. Such a fabulous meal. The flavours of the dishes were so good. The salmon and scallops 2nd course was a real highlight. Great service.
c.
Great service with a menu that served up delightful dishes and should cater for most palates.
T.

Gorgeous food, excellent for group bookings. I recommend the bacon wrapped chicken breast, it was beautiful! Thank you.
S.
Beautiful idyllic spot with wonderful views, great friendly atmosphere, staff are excellent
Meals are really good, great place to gather with friends or have a function,
S.
Lovely food & atmosphere.
P.
Great seafood main of Clams, Cockle and Mussels.
Great selection of beer on tap and bottles!
J.
It is a tranquil spot with a view on to the harbour and if you time it right on a Sunday afternoon a cruise ship will pass by. Outside and inside seating. Child friendly. I haven't seen many dogs but I'm sure outside is fine. The selection of wines, beers and other refreshments is impressive and complements the fresh food offered on the menu.
S.
Beautiful setting, great historic stone hotel with authentic features and an idyllic outlook
Good menu plus drinks selection
J.
I’m not one for hyperbole. I usually give an eatery 3 stars if they are good, 4 if they excel. Carey’s Bay I’m giving a rare 5 stars. Friendly service, quaint surroundings, and one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. The meat was tender and flavours were beautifully balanced. It was so good that the following day, we seriously considered going again (I wish now we had)
J.
Excellent service enjoyed afternoon tea on this visit. Amazing Harbour views exyending toTiaroa heads. Really good coffee and home baking.
B.
Amazing love it each time we visit...fab staff...amazing food and a Thai curry today for...
T.
Excellent menu and level 2 service. Seafood dishes highly recommended. We'll be back!
B.
Certainly historical dating back to the 1870 era. Has been well preserved and maintained. Great place to stop for a coffee.
J.
The salmon we had was the best we have had anywhere in the world and we order salmon a lot when travelling! I don't know what variety or where it comes from but it melted in the mouth and was cooked to perfection.
L.
So good! Fresh fish as promised :)
g.
Very Nice seafood restaurant. All fresh ingredients
C.
Meals ranged from excellent to just above average. Drinks were great, excellent coffee. Good service but a bit of time between ordering and getting our food but place was packed so understandable.
R.
We stopped for lunch at Careys Bay Historic Hotel on the way to Aramoana. The service was relaxed and friendly. The hotel has indoor/outdoor seating with a great view of the bay. We ate simply, but looking over the menu didn't feel as though anything was lacking if we had wanted something more sophisticated.
R.
We had been to Fleurs the night before. Honestly I was unprepared for the magnificence of Careys Brill fish of the day. It could not have been better. The veges were cooked to perfection, the lemon butter sauce simple but ideal. Such a fortuitous find, I highly recommend it to all.
R.
An interesting experience with a great atmosphere, food and service...
P.
Tasty food, great atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent service. Thanks for an awesome meal.
M.
The quality and quantity of the food have slowly declined over the years. My mum and I use to eat our lunches here, ordering or favorite seafood basket. Be prepared with your purse. This is not a cheap place to dine in. The scenery beside the glass window is very nice but you will need to be lucky to get the two tables that have access to the views while you are eating. Those tables are always occupied so good luck.
E.
I had fish pie and it was very nice. The place itself was very neat, the staff were attentive and knowlegable about the food. Despite level 3 restrictions, it was good.
M.
An historic pub at Carey's Bay. Great food and decent brews. Superb views across the harbour toward the heads. Friendly and helpful staff. The place was heaving on St Patrick's Day but the food was out promptly and washed down with a jar of Guinness!
l.
Its lovely out in Carey's bay. Very relaxed place. Loved my cup of tea was served on a silver plate with silver sugar bowl and milk jug. Meal was nice. Great to have real mash potatoes.
H.
After a night in our campervan it was great to stop in to the Carey Bay Hotel for a hot meal (and breakfast beers lol) The service was so friendly and welcoming, the food was sooo amazing and fresh with reasonable pricing I'd definitely come back here again! Thank you to Emma and Ezra you guys were great
T.
Great self contained camper spot across the road. Lovely food and very friendly staff. Gave us good ideas to do in the area.
C.
Great spot, friendly and efficient staff. Great food
B.
Historic location, very clean & tidy premises, super friendly helpful staff.
Food quality excellent.
Well worth a visit
C.
Nice place. Beautiful atmosphere. Seafood is their specialty. We had three great dishes. Service was good. Food was very well cooked and the meals came out quickly.
Dessert was ok, coffee was good.
L.
Cool place to stop for a drink and warm meal.
p.
Good prices,entree was served quickly,seafood platter was a main,that was a long wait &too much squid.Was wanting prawns&oysters

Love this place. Fabulous atmosphere and staff. Food is also really yummy.
J.
Very good menu, service is fantastic, meals great quality, and setting is uniquely NZ. We enjoyed ourselves in a historic building with a wonderful outlook.
S.
A great meal and service brilliant
K.
Food not that special. Really pub nosh at fine dining prices. Little atmosphere. Was deserted by 9.00 pm Friday night. What does that tell you?
G.
Fantastic location for lunch or a quiet beer. Lots of charm. Great food, and friendly service. Been going there for twenty years. Since the Hotere hanging over the bar was worth more than the pub itself.
D.
An awesome place to visit. Great food and great service! Loved it 😁😁
A.
Nice food and friendly service. Looking forward to our next visit next time down there.
m.
Had a very fresh local seafood like steamed shell fish, Kai coconut milk marinated blue cod, fish of the day was sole. I am very strict on review but I really enjoyed, and staff were very friendly even on the mail when made a booking. Public bus stops infront of the pub from the city central. We stayed at airbnb near here.
c.
Good food, great view and friendly staff.
s.
great Building, amazing views. Staff are very nice and helpful , coffee tasted great.
N.
Love the food, ambiance, and how they have a kids corner with toys. Staff are very friendly. We got the seafood platter and ate our fill.
J.
Awesome mid day meal. Really beautiful. Lovely atmosphere.
C.
The place is spectacular with the ambience and mood set well and blending in with the environment and the buildings of Port Chalmers as well. Clean and friendly, and amazing food, thoroughly enjoyed both the battered fish and chips and the salmon and monkfish fish cakes leave me wanting more.
M.
Lovely. Didn't eat there but just a real chilled place to have a beer and a chat in the garden. Would definitely do that again.
k.
Fantastic ambience. Gracious wait staff delicious, generous serving of sea food .
M.
Good food, great room for our group of 15. Beautiful view over the harbour.
P.
Good family venue. Attentive staff, yummy food, great lunch. Enjoyed all round. Another great pub full of history.

Well worth the drive to Careys Bay. Beautiful setting, awesome service and incredible food.
D.
Good food, friendly service and a super harbour view... What's not to like. I recommend this place!
Ç.
I was first introduced to Careys Bay Historic Hotel by my feminist book club group. I must say if you are looking for a fantastic coffee and a lovely secluded place to discuss feminist literature, this is the place for you! The service is very good and the seating arrangement gives you the option of either indoor or outdoor. Overall fantastic place, a true Dunedin gem.
S.
Beautifully restored pub with great service and atmosphere. Didn't eat there but the food did look pretty good that others had ordered.
N.
Lovely place with a lively atmosphere. If you're into seafood, it's a must. Vegetarian food is lacking sadly. But overall a fabulously wonderful place.
S.
Great food service and stunning views
E.
Loved the service and atmosphere, just beautiful to come and have a meal.
C.

For seafood in Dunedin, look no further, tucked away from it all and around the corner from the hustle and bustle of port chalmers. This is a great getaway. Grab a pint, have some seafood and the view is very appropriate. The chowder is great, as is the poison cru.
