C.Come here for lunch nearly every week. Service is prompt and staff make me feel very welcome. The food is delicious, especially the sweet and sour pork with rice. Also prices are very reasonable for the generous portions they give you.
The man who usually serves me is very polite and very fast at serving me. This is definitely my go to takeaway shop in Dunedin.
T.Great service, nice food overall (wasn't a fan of the veg patties, but the rest was nice). They have amazingly well priced lunch specials and pack the food in. Great to see an old school approach to takeaways - focusing on value and service :)
C.China Palace is my go to place for both Fish and Chips and dining in at the Restaurant. Their battered onion sausage is really nice. My husband loves the meat patties and I the fish. We have the above most often but enjoy mixing it up from the menu for a change. Also buy bluff oysters when they are in season. When we eat in we get a banquet, I love that we know what its going to cost especially if we are paying for multiple people. The food is very tasty and is good value.

R.Great place for lunch. Very busy between 12-1:00 but with lunch specials running until 2:00 you have plenty of time.
K.Excellent service and great food! Buffet style meals for $20 pp and there's definitely enough to go around. Food doesn't have lots of additives like other places put in so you aren't left feeling bloated. Definitely try the chicken soup and the tea. Favourite place to go in Dunedin , Highly recommend ;)
a.Good price, good size. Better fish than nan king, but the hot dogs arent as good.
J.Love the Orange Beef and Kung Pou dishes. Always a good sit down meal too. Really good staff
