What an awesome night out with the family. The food was our favourite part! The ribs were absolutely delicious especially that sauce. The kids had a great time there as well and the table service was awesome. Definitely will be coming back. Love the X Rated traffic lights as well that topped my night off.

Celebrate birthday here. Such a worthy experience as birthday girl got to enjoy the main for free with four person ordering from their mains. Steak was perfectly cook to medium rare, would be perfect if it has the charcoal grill smell. Children enjoys the beautiful desserts. Was a great experience.

My partner and I came here for a fun little night out, and it did not disappoint! The food was great (I especially recommend the sticky date pudding) and the drinks all looked amazing and tasted nicer. We really loved the decor, and the vibe of the place was very homey. Service was quite fast and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I also really liked that there were plenty of options for people with allergies. Already planning our next visit!

Went there with my friends last week, could not have had a better night! The food was amazing - would highly recommend the coconut chicken. Was so delicious. Service was brilliant and so friendly, the atmosphere is perfect for all ages. The traffic jam cocktail lived up to its hype too! Will definitely become a regular spot.

Maaaaaaate! Lunch on Waitangi day wid the younger daughter - TREAT TIME... starter to start, buoyed along by a fishbowl traffic light wid da vodka ice option... I went carnivore; medium-rare sirloin on a bed of the best tasting ribs I've had in a longtime. SHE went for RIBS on their own and then the biggest TREAT was being joined by the elder daughter who also went wid da RIBS. Twas not surprising that we went home wid a doggy-bag of ribs for he who did not come for lunch.

Great meals, and great to see some of the classics (crunchies!). Was the first night back in Covid Red level so they were still figuring things out - took a while to get drinks and food but was apologetic for the delays. Easy location just down from the Octagon at the train station.

Adding to my experience here in May, the service was excellent very prompt, no feeling of being rushed. It was a Monday night, i was visiting from Melbourne my sister, and long time friends. I drove north the next day with a desire to visit Cobb and Co on my next trip back home. Food was very generous in size, tasty as described on the menu. We were encouraged to take the leftovers home, this was done without a fuss. Our waitresses were friendly and willing to have a chat, nothing seemed too much for them when questioned.

Enjoyed a lovely evening! We only ordered bread (and traffic light drinks of course) but the waitress brought us a small piece of cake because it was a party member's birthday. Wonderful and unexpected! And the PlayStation's have Fortnite too! Highly recommended.

Wow! It has been seven months since I visited Cobb & Co. I'm normally a steak man, but I felt like fish tonight, and I loved it! Beer battered Dory & Chips. Sure, I love Blue Cod, but we are so lucky in New Zealand to have John Dory. Lightly battered, cooked perfectly, accompanied by hot, crispy chips and a fresh, crunchy salad. And I would have to say that Tuatara Hazy Pale Ale was the perfect pairing! Lovely warm atmosphere in the restaurant...even a glowing fire on an unseasonably cool evening...lots of happy families and a few students back for the upcoming academic year. Everyone was able to forget about COVID for a while and enjoy the company of friends and family attended by smiling and friendly waitstaff. Cobb invented the traffic light...now they are helping people make living in the red setting just that little bit better. Come and be welcomed back to Cobb & Co in the Railway Station.

Easy Parking and parks for the elderly and infirm are close by. Meal was to small and cost to much for what it was. When they opened after covid food was fantastic but the new menu leaves you fealing hungry even after spending $60 on food and drink. Visited Cobb & Co last night for my 9 year old sons birthday. We booked online and mentioned we were heading in for a birthday celebration in the online booking form. Before we arrived, the team had already laid the table out with two birthday hats for my two boys and a balloon for the birthday boy - I thought this was really nice and wasn't expecting it! We also had booked for 4, but brought a 5th guest and this was no problem for the wait staff. We were quickly moved into a booth and our waiter Jess was amazing throughout the night. She gave us the specials, and we ordered a few drinks and Jess left us to sort out our order. We weren't super hungry so just decided to go for a main meal for everyone, with no desserts or starters. We ordered a couple of kids meals for our littlies, 2 burgers, and a fillet steak for myself. The kids ran off and played in the kids area, with 3x PlayStations, and lots of other toys to keep them entertained while the meals were prepared. This was an awesome area separate from the main dining areas so we could confidently leave the kids for a couple minutes without worrying about who they were annoying ;) We also went out and looked at a train at the platform, just out the door which was a novelty for the kids. We thought the wait for the meal was fine, approx 10-15minutes and overall the family were generally happy with their meals. The kids demolished theirs, but my wife mentioned her burger was a little cold, and after I made the first cut into my steak, I could see it wasn't cooked anywhere near what I had asked and so I decided to send it back (the first time I've done that ha!) Jess was amazing again, and handled it really professionally. She came back to check on the other meals and gave me a couple of updates on the new steak's progress as it was being prepared! We finished off the meal and the kids ran off to play again while we relaxed a little. The table was cleared quickly and we enjoyed the quiet booth that we were in. I popped up to pay the bill, and think I may have got the manager on the till who enquired about the meal and I briefly mentioned the 2nd go I needed on the steak. I finished off paying the bill and was happily sitting back at the table when a few minutes later the manager approached me again and handed over a voucher just to apologise for the problem with the steak. This was really appreciated and we'll definitely come back again sometime with the kids. I always thought of Cobb & Co as a place to visit with kids, but there's an amazing outdoor area (which wasn't open when we were there) which I may even leave the kids at home for a drink with the wifey for. The hard part was getting the booking however the service from Tiffany was absolutely perfect. The children were catered for with no fuss at all. The food 9 out of 10. Mine 10 out of 10. If dining during busy times, check your receipts as we almost got charged a full size bottle of bubbly when we only ordered 1 glass. Review prior to covid shutdown: "We love it. Super friendly staff. We can sit in private space away from the bustling family area. The food is always good and soooo much of it. Doggy bag is always required. Well worth your $$")

The service here was wonderful. The food came out super fast. Some dishes were super hot, others were only just warm. The food was however tasty and we'll cooked. Our drinks took quite a while to arrive to the table, quite a bit after our mains. Deserts were delicious and arrived quickly. The restaurant had a great family atmosphere and had a fantastic play area for children. Would happily recommend this restaurant to others.

They allowed us to have the kids' desserts which was awesome, nostalgia value. They have a very cool play area with video games, some baby stuff and a fish tank. One of the steaks was overdone but they replaced it quickly, very nice servers. Someone told me not to get the burgers or clam chowder but there are plenty of other nice things on the menu. Also the Cobb loaf I found to be strange but still tasty.

Overpriced for what it is. The good - friendly accommodating staff, great location and child friendly. The bad - below average pub gastro food, $26 for warmed up frozen fish and chips and $38 for a steak and chips. Servings are not particularly large either. Children’s food is acceptable for what it is -chips and nuggets. The adults not what you are paying for. Can’t get recommend Cobb & Co for a quality meal, other than a trip down memory lane for those old enough to remember the original Cobb and Co.

Food is yum and has a great range. Rhonda is an amazing host and I reccommend everyone ask for her service. The meals seem expensive but I think it is value for money as they are big meals compared to other restaurants who serve small fancy meals for the same price. Lots of parking handy to the place. Sadly i took my daughter to the toilet and when i came back the waiter had taken her full bowl of ice cream away that she only had one bite of and left her the bowl of chips that she hadnt touches since they gave them to her 😢 my partner was at the table but didnt notice that the waiter had taken the ice cream and they never asked him if the kids were finished...quite upsetting for my girl who was probably hungry because she didnt like the kid burger. Paid $14.50 and she ate a few chips and few licks of her ice cream. Adult meals were average. The only parking available was for 30 minutes. So we were very lucky not to get a ticket. I would try itger places and probably not bother coming back here. Maybe if they had decent parking and waiters that didnt take away full bowls of ice cream, i may have come back, but i dont think i will.

I was looking forward to reliving the cob and co experience of my childhood, but alas, the closest we got to consuming the crunchy fried snack of my memory was a picture of them on the menu.

Had birthday dinner for our 4 year old grand-daughter there tonight - 11 adults, a 4 yr old and an 8 month old. They couldn't have been more accomodating and welcoming - nothing was a bother. Gemma was our waitress and what a smiley personable young lady she was who made a real effort to ensure everyone was happy. Ryan the barman, also super smiley and helpful. Food was good pub food and we felt fine value for the $. Ryan and Gemma brought out the cake that we had supplied and started as they approached (and then continued singing with the family) a hearty round of happy birthday for the grand-daughter - what a special staff duo! Extra 2 Stars can be earned here :) your outdoor area is a great space for people walking down the the stadium for sports of concerts etc especially when Dunedin is full of people from out of town. It is a missed opportunity, there is little service in this area and no heating on colder nights turned on. I know Cobb n Co. is a family restaurant (inside), but during these busy periods when there is large groups popping in for a quick snack and drinks there is so much potential for this to be the place to go.
