Best Chinese takeout I’ve had in a long time! Got the lunch special for 9.50 and it’s loaded with noodles , rice, sweet and sour chicken , wontons, veggies, the list goes on!!

Great Wall Takeaway Absolutely wonderful🤩 The Customer service of David is absolutely amazing, he is always kind, Chatty/ cheerful, Open minded and Easy going 😃 Their food taste great, though the costs of food differs on their Menu List but find their Food to be fresh and have generous portions.🍴 Great selection of Food to choose from😋 This place could do well if they start a Dine-in sitting arrangements for their customers to enjoy their Meals and revamp their building Structures. You can opt to call in advance first before coming to collect your Take- away. Must visit Dunedin Take aways shop 👍🏼 If there was more stars. I would surely give More as Well deserved Take away place Unfortunately have No photos to post. Job Well done as Always 👌🏻

If I could give the Great Wall Takeaway 10 stars I would. I have been craving their sweet and sour pork with pineapple. It's been a few years since I last had it and it was just as delicious as last time. Not only the food but the staff are pretty incredible. Friendly and as soon as he saw me he remembered my favourite dish. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Great Wall never fails to please! Always delicious food with very generous portions. More than enough for two people plus left over in each dish. My favourite is their Chicken Fried Rice with cashews. Would recommend to anyone wanting good value, delicious food!

We used to buy our fish and chips here when we lived close by. The quality isn't consistent. Sometimes it's good and other times, their oil can do with a change. We never got food poisoning. Cheap and basic.

I believe this place used to be call NEW CANTON TAKEAWAYS back in the 2000. There was a Kareoke room at the back of the restaurant and the boss used to be able to play guitar. If anyone know about the histories, please drop some comments below.

Big fan of great wall. Good chips, decent enough takeaways and some great banter from behind the counter. The Lunch box special is where its at. 5.50 for a small and 7.50 for a large. The large lunchbox is enough food to meet your caloric intake for the next week and so dense I am sure I have seen light bend around it. Eating one of these will ensure productivity drops to an all time low as your body begins to process what a behemoth you have ingested. 10/10 would smash again.
