Awesome service from a couple of the girls serving the drive through 11.15pm last night. Super friendly, serving with a smile and offered to take our rubbish. Honestly the best service received at any KFC, generally KFC staff come across depressed but not last night!

Not many people in the shop. Food arrived quickly. Appreciated a table with chairs to sit at while waiting. Staff were efficient. Vaccine pass checked. Food was fine.

While there's kind and generous people behind the counter, you've first got to get them whilst they're busy preparing and boxing things up so even asking for ice or an extra spoon could take up to a minute even without a queue to wait behind. Late evening Saturday night was fairly busy and that might also be a cause for why the floors and tables were a bit in need of a clean. As for the place, there's seating inside and the same or more outside.

Just went to the drive thru about 6.00 after work,cars were back to the street, didn't take long to get service really, they are friendly at the windows for a boring job, thanks for being there, I couldn't do it.

Awesome place, fantastic helpful staff, Jonny was fantastic when I said my chips were lukewarm, he replaced them and even upgraded them. Very apologetic. Place is clean, toilets available, wheelchair parking and auto doors, outdoor like eating under cover available also. Well done 10/10 for friendly respectable staff and yummy KFC

We as a group went there last night around 8pm, the girl behind the counter ( Bronwyn ) I hope I got her name right…..she was amazing her smile and service was fantastic our order didn’t take long , after our meal there was a bit of a mess around our tables from our little ones I said to her that we normally tidy up before we leave she not to worry she will clean it up…….awesome service thank you South Dunedin staff

Omg food was amazing! Except Aunt ordered large meal, and got small chips! Took them back in to get a replacement, and gave us medium. Haha. Oh well. My meal was good, Mum's was, Nana's, and my cousin Amir. :) Lol. We loved it :)

I was accidentally double charged via the delivery website. Once I made the team aware I had a refund in my account within 30mins. They were extremely apologetic and were making efforts to ensure it doesn't happen again. Excellent service my Terrance. Better yet, the food delivery and quality were as expected... perfect.

I Go every Monday as soon as the store opens. Chicken is fresh, juicy and hot. You haven't experienced chicken like it until you do. You can't get any fresher than the first fry of the day straight from the frier... Total game changer

If you haven't had KFC, you're missing out, and speaking of missing out, always check your order before you leave, because often there will be items missing from your order or seasoning missing from your chips. It's no longer cheap but it's tasty, unfortunately the size of the chicken pieces are inconsistent, either they are a decent size or so small they have gone in a couple of bites. One thing this KFC needs in the drive thru too is a two way speaker system back from the first window so you could order and then drive to the first window to pay and then the second window to collect, this would speed up ordering a lot. If you're after a greasy fast food fix, KFC is fine, but it doesn't deserve more than three stars.

It's KFC. You know what kind of food you're getting yourself into. Anderson's Bay KFC staff are always kind and chatty, and while the queues are snaking through the store most every day from 5-7PM, the wait time from ordering to receiving your order is usually quite short. As far as KFC stores go, this one is honestly pretty good.

the better KFC in Dunedin. seemes adequate staffed unlike the others. it's KFC, you know the food, so just choose it as the least-worst option when you're craving greasy fried chicken.

I was really happy with my visit. The menu had Mashies displayed but the drive through operator didn't know they were out of stock so we had paid for them already. The manager came to the window and let us know this, and offered us either a refund or he would chuck in some food to replace the Mashies. He hooked us up with more than what we paid for, so that was cool.

I have decided to give five stars because to me when you have to wait in a que for a long period of time suggests to me that people go to this particular KFC because they are happy with the quality of the food served regardless of the long wait to get served. It's okay. Sometimes I get okay food, sometimes it's bad. KFC in New Zealand's recipes is different from America and South Africa. I don't like the raw onions on burgers, but I'm sure some people do. The chicken is good though...

Stuff are very nice but when your waiting to order your food takes at least ten minutes, me and my friend were waiting in line for a long time it's not because the cashier is slow its because theres only one and if you look at the kitchen there a barely anyone working they need to get more staff. They also should at least clean the place the table I was sitting at was not clean I dont think they even cleaned it. I had no problem with the food it's good but he place and waiting is just annoying. But I do appreciate the one hour free wifi

I live on kaikorai Valley Road which has a KFC but I happily make the trip to South Dunedin because the service is friendly and wonderful. I always get what I ask for and the food is cooked perfectly with a decent amount of seasoning on chips. I can't speak more highly of the staff who go above and beyond for customers. Could you guys come and show KFC kaikorai Valley how its done please. Special mention to "Yi" who is always efficient and helpful without fail. Thankyou Yi for your awesome efforts.

Great service from the lovely lady at the counter, we got our order taken and served very quickly and everything was very yummy. Must say I only gave 4 star's as the setup for the place seems unthought out and because you must line up right inside the door it gets extremely cold due to the fact that the doors pretty much stay open if the line is too big.
