I wish they can serve hot drinks between 10.30pm -5.30am for the sake of long distance travellers. Beside, Dunedin always has a cool weather

A good and smooth drive through experience! The house is usually closed under Covid's level 2 protocols.

Has a good atmosphere quite clearly aimed at the Otago University students but I like it too. Staff are friendly. The place is often very busy and sometimes they will get an order wrong but they have always corrected it if I say something. It's a convenient place for night owls like myself when most other stores are closed.

Had breakfast there with my grandson and his mum. Very nice and clean prompt service with a smile..enjoyed our time there.

First Maccas I've given 5 stars for. +1 star for the music jukebox in the store. Food was made well. We went on a Monday morning where it is was nice and quiet.

Pretty standard McDonalds. Doesn't appear to have the same menu items as the Anderson's Bay store. Sundaes and McFlurry's had all the syrup/sauce at the bottom of the container which isn't enjoyable to eat.

Conveniently located spot to grab a bite on your way out of town. Clean premises, most of the time. It is the local for many of Dunedin's student population, although I'm not sure how they afford it these days. McDonald's is no longer a cheap meal option, be prepared to spend $15-$20 if you want to get your fill. There's a drive-thru, and a few parks and during peak meal times it does get quite congested.

Always quick and friendly. Fries are hit and miss though, sometimes they're cold, sometimes they're not salted and sometimes they're just perfect 👌

The hot choc was hot, the donuts were yummy, the sauce was plentiful, and the table service was quick. Oh, and it wasn't crowded. Unusual, and most pleasant.

After 10 O'clock any night of the week there is only one place you can turn to for bright lights, free Wi-Fi and something resembling chicken nuggets. Only one place you can jam your stupidly drunk student mouth with luke warm, but still burnt chips at 3 A.M. Only one establishment where you can ease your dry, crusty hungover mouth with the sweet taste of a pseudo-lime thickshake that was powder and water only moments before. Only one temple where you can truly feel at home as you sidle up to the bouncer to confess your nights misadventures. Only one home of the Gods where you can get paper bags full of tonight's feed and tomorrow's sad, limp breakfast. And to the Gods in the kitchen, thank you, you brave warriors. The keepers of the peace. Soldiering on through the night to feed the tired, the hungry, the huddled masses of young adults just trying to make their way. You're doing the Lords work. 5 stars to you. And to all who come after, for without you there would be a lot less hope in the world.

Half my order wasnt there and everything was rushed dunedin north McDonald's it's good and easy but make sure u have what you orderd before leaving the drive thru other than that ok service

I knew something was off about this place but I only put my finger on why when I realized this restraunt is a blatant copy of our local McDonalds in Napier. The brazenness of this copy is insane with this knockoff using the same menu, same colour scheme and even the same name. I can not endorse this fraud that has taken sales away from our boutique local hospitality business. 4/5 stars.

The food was good. It's just the self serve kiosk was having technical problems so I had to pay at the counter. Apart from that, great service and great food.

Pretty much standard, which is of course pretty good, however the touch screen ordering system needs alcohol wipes, or something of the sort, becide the screen. Wouldn't feel comfortable ordering in this manner once this bloody virus starts tracking through the community. Food for thought Mackers!!!

It was awesome to see all the staff out in the restaurant cleaning and making sure the place was fresh (it always is anyway) the food was hot, looked and tasted yummy! If you had to choose one McDonald's in Dunedin to visit, choose this one.

Regardless of the time of day or state of inebriation, the North Dunedin McDonalds will always provide a decent feed swiftly and accurately. Staff are generally friendly with a pretty good yarn. No negative experiances with the store!

One may belive it is not. What I got served yesterday was five star (maccas fast)-food. Fresh crispy fries, fresh nuggets, good burger with plenty of everything, fast and friendly service, no mistakes were made, and all in all a satisfying experience.
