Reviews of Miga Hako
S.
The best restaurant in Dunedin! Affordable and delicious. I came here all the time for lunch while I was studying. Recently returned to town and went back, the food is still fantastic with even more delicious additions to the menu. You’re missing out if you haven’t been here!

Amazing food at a great price, and the boss has great customer service too. Have been going back every few days since I first tried it. Very sad to have only discovered this place when I’m about to graduate. The fried chicken burger is a must order! 10/10

Miga Hako is a very cheap eat ~$10 for lunch and packed with flavour. The staff are also very friendly and serve the food within 5 mins. This was the best food I ate during my time in Dunedin.

Good fried chicken and rice balls. Bit of a small establishment to eat in. Friendly staff.

This place is famous for their fried chicken, we tried it and I can say is really flavorful. The plate is big, comes with a good portion of rice and vegetables. We also had the dumplings, which are huge and also delicious. The place is always busy, we had to wait around 10 min for our food to be served and we were there in between lunch and dinner. There are several tables to sit down. Overall very good price/quality relationship, dumplings were 3.5 dollars each and chicken was 12 dollars.

There was more chicken and vegetables than I expected but it was only $12 !

Great food, great service. This city needs more places like this. This should be on everyone’s list as a regular spot.

Flavours were great but do not expect to get what the pictures look like, my Tteokbokki rice cakes only had 7 peices, the rest were glass noodles that wasn't listed on the ingredients. When I expressed my disappointment the staff just explained that's how the dish is. That's when I decided to photo and review :( my bf's bibimbap rice bowl had edamame, regular beets and maybe some cucumber instead of the usual sprouts, daikon and spinach etc. Both tasted good though , just annoying to not get what you are expecting.
