Beautiful place with best food in goa. Staff Madan served us very well. Ambiance is awesome.

This place gets super busy! Booking a table is recommended. The food was tasty, staff super fun and we're great at serving, and outdoor dinning is an option. Indoors is cosy and well spaced. My friends and I recommend the burgers and peppered squid!

Stopped into Salt this morning for a late breakfast and coffee. Staff were real friendly and service was quick. Great value for a couple of eggs on toast and a coffee. Plus it was delicious. Some of the other options looked beautiful too but just wanted something simple today. Great to sit outside in the sun this morning too.

My husband and I have now been to 'Salt' twice since our stay here in Dunedin over the last 3 weeks and honestly couldnt have been happier with our meals. Very tasty and nicely presented, found the staff friendly and very happy to help, comfy classic surroundings and definitely would not hesitate to go again..Great Chowder and the Chicken Filo just so yum!! Lovely atmosphere fire and Art Deco surroundings.. Food nice. Service lovely and friendly. Sadly they keep forgetting food we ordered. One of waitresses looked like she had better things to do than be at work haha. Meals well sized, flavours ok, plain and simple. The berry Crumble was a bit tasteless and not much crumble topping too much cinnamon but had a nice custard light cream sauce.

We came in as a family as we had booked and got placed at two different tables, ordered at the same time both tables getting starters and mains, one got all there food then a table outside got there food even though they ordered after us, we had five kids with us and 3 of them eating with the first table and 2 having to wait as second table didn’t get there food till way after the first table had finished theirs. Said something to the lady and she said it was because we got starters.... so did the other table🙄. Once the food arrived it was nice but as a family going out for dinner together you hope to eat together. Not as seperate tables/times.

Our friend recommended us to eat at Salt, and he's right. It served delicious food, with great service. It's on the Promenade in St Clair which is a southern district of Dunedin. Lovely place, and a great start to our stay in Dunedin. Well done to the barista today. She made perfect coffees extra hot just as we requested. So many places are still not able to do this even when asked.

The place was packed so we asked to put or name down on the waiting list, but there wasn't one. The waitress told us we had to find our own table, very odd. Hung around with others and when someone stood up to leave we crashed their table, still with the dirty dishes..others glared, but we had the table. Ordered the pulled pork burger and the fish burger, both were excellent, washed down with tap beer. The fish burger was actually a piece of fresh fish in a burger, far better than the frozen fish cakes you usually get. All very reasonably priced.

Were a bit peckish and decided to get something to eat. Came across this nice cafe that just happened to be under my old flat I lived in over 23 years ago. My partner ordered the beef burger with a side of loaded fries and I ordered the kaarage chicken and salad. OMG. My partner thought the burger was the best one he had eaten in a LOOOONG time. Fresh fresh ingredients. I enjoyed the kaarage chicken. Although it didnt taste like kaarage chicken I've cooked before, it was still nice and moist with a crunchy coating. The salad was fresh and tasty. Service was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be eating there again. Truly recommend this place.

Had the happiest smiley woman serving us today. Even when something wasn’t on the menu our son really wanted she went out of her way to keep him happy. Tough work for them with all the scaffolding around the building at the moment but they still made it a great experience.

Quite tasty, nice staff and a very cool Dunedin location. For a special occasion we had the 3 course $51 semi set menu. I had the seafood chowder, steak and cheesecake. all were good, everyone in our group was exceptionally full afterwards. The cheesecake was a very generous portion, but tasted a little too 'out of the box' for me to rave about.

Great interiors that provide ample warmth especially now during winter, coupled with great servers, good food and aromatic coffee (not sure which they use). Tried the burger (sliders) which came in two's (so for light eaters take note), and the egg's benedict also looked amazing!

I enjoy having coffee and hanging out with my friends in this cafe. It is just a few steps from the St. Clair Esplanade. The food is always good and the coffee delicious. One of my friend past away and the rest of us honored her by ordering her favorite heart cookie.
