Ice cream- Great as usual. Food- Well we've never had to much of a problem with there food and that's why you get a 3 out of 5 stars!

This place gets so many bad reviews but I think people need to manage their expectations and take a reality check. I've only ever been for lunch so can't comment about the dinner service but it has undoubtedly got to be the best value lunch in town. No, the food isn't flash. It's like getting takeaways but for the price you can't expect more. Plus you get to have dessert and tea /coffee. Every time I've been it's been clean. Can't complain at all and I always walk away with a full tummy.

Really great service and generally good food. It's a smorgasbord so not going to be high quality fare. However lots of nice little touches eg fresh fruit and roasted peanuts in the salad. Also nachos and lovely bean sauce.

Good food, but the new layout doesn't quite make as much sense as their old layout. The new layout also causes it to be allot more crowded as the most popular foods are all grouped together. Over $80 for three of us, and the atmosphere can get very loud with children running around and yelling.

Yeah it’s alright. But what I really love about this place is the apple crumble with whipped cream! Want to know a secret? Don’t buy a glass for a soft drink (which you have to do if you want a soft drink) and just use the cups they give you for water to fill up with the fizzy drinks. I think we’ve all done it!

Food is good , no drinks here really is the only problem is only water unless you pay 3 Dollars for a can. Food never cold they have salad options , soups , fried food , dessert options. All tastes good never had a bad experience.

I spent only $11 for their lunch buffet service with a variety of food choices. Fish and chips, chicken nibbles and ice cream. How can they offer such amazing foods at such a low price? I think it is not fair to compare their food to other Buffet restaurants providing more choices at higher prices. We will definitely go and taste their food again when in Dunedin. Hopefully next time, there is curry!

Food was ok, they advertise meals for people who don't want buffet. But it's only buffet available. We had table of nine and couple of people are not big eaters and didn't want a buffet. So didn't eat while everyone else did . Single meals should be available for older people who don't want to eat all you can eat .but still want to eat smaller meals with family .

A good variety of food choices although some of it is average however there's always something to please most people. My kids love getting to go there as they love directing the accompanying adults on how to make their ice creams.

I'd go as far as 3 1/2 - 4 stars based on the quality of food and restaurant tyoe/style. The venue and dessert is what scores it 3. However if you want a great tasting buffetvmain at an affordable price ... I'd go back.

Good prices and it's all you can eat buffet. From Chinese to make your own narchos, soup as well. They have healthy options too. They even have high chairs and dessert. Extra for drinks ,You can byo . There is a corking price per bottle of wine. We enjoyed having family dinners here .

Great place and price if you want buffet. Staff is courteous and attentive. If you are watching your diet, this is not the place for you. There are a lot of families coming to this restaurant. Children will live this place. Food is fresh and a lot of choices.

I really enjoyed myself and would recommend that whoever you are reading this :-) you should stop reading and just get over there right now for a good feed :-) All the bad reviews are about previous owners. This is probably the only place that I have found in New Zealand where you can actually eat as much as you want :-) coming from America where an all you can eat buffet is very common I was surprised to find that it is a rare thing in New Zealand :-) I went just an hour before closing time on a Tuesday when you might expect the worst out of a restaurant :-) as I slowly and methodically tested every dish available I became more and more pleased :-) everything was fully stocked and fresh as :-) anything you might say negative was in fact a positive thing for me :-) I felt the price very reasonable and was actually pleased to see that the soda was not included :-) I don't like soda :-) and so I didn't have to pay extra for it :-) I was quite amazed that even taking small portions I could not try it all before I was full :-) this restaurant Great Taste in Dunedin actually had good Mexican food also :-)

Lunch prices are pretty good. There's a decent variety of food so picky eaters are happy, haha. -1 star because sometimes the food is stale/old, but it's otherwise good!

A buffet restaurant where you can eat as much as you like. Just be aware that if you want to get the drinks, you need to pay extra. The food are varied: asian, italian, salad, chinese, you name it. Quality of the food are average. Very suitable for students, or if you can eat a lot. For me, their full price is a bit expensive.

We had a lovely evening and staff very helpful and patient with us while making arrangements for group of 25 and various diet requirements. Everyone commented how lovely it was and very enjoyable.

Hey just had tea here slept in at hotel so got in just on closing had eaten here many times only charged me 20 bucks gave me free lemon lime bottles as drinks machine off ate while they cleaned up and were closed the hospitality they showed a tired truckie was great always value for money and a good selection of food check them out when in dunedin

Lunch on a busy Ed Sheeran saturday. Very nice with good selection for $15. Help yourself Coffee/tea but if wanting other drinks you pay extra (as expected). Food was all presented well and caters to most people. Vegetarian options/healthy options available. Not sure what evening meals would be like but a definate stop for me again when next in Dunners for lunch (perfect if your a big eater and definately the place to go for lunch with a hungry man).

The choice of dishes seems to have gone back , there were no roast meats and no fish either, puddings were good, what annoyed me though was the female staff member wandering around poking in all the dishes without any sort of uniform on nor did they have gloves, makes you wonder what happens in the kitchen
