A.A Great Wee Cafe. Nice Food. Good Coffee and Friendly Service.
e.We came here with my family on New Year’s Day. Very nice food and coffee, they were really busy as they were the only shop opened on that day. My son dropped ice cream and they gave us a new one. Definitely will be back for our next holiday.
I.One of the best eggs Benedict with salmon I have tasted. My wife had the same but with mushrooms instead. Same opinion.
Almost all tables were fill so with only the cooking and serving there was await. We are on holiday so no worries. Sitting at a window seat we could look out to sea or watch the passers by.
C.We went there for breakfast 3 July.
Was cold and rainy outside but inside it was warm and inviting, friendly accommodating staff.
This cafe has a variety of food to suit the older and younger customer.
Vegetarian and good gluten free (made off site in gf kitchen)options available.
Toilets on site.
View is great.
Large stuffed animals and other children's toys dotted around to delight the younger ones.
Child friendly cafe with room to maneuver a pram indoors.
It boasts a wide range of ice creams all year round.
Wide selection of hot and cold drinks with cakes and other treats to match.
Childrens drinks scaled to size.
Well priced to suit families.
We will be back.
C.Can be difficult getting a park because of the location/popularity of the area. Lovely inside. Staff very nice. There was a group of us. Very quick at serving up out of the cabinet and heating up things. Lasagna takes quite some time though. Meal was nice it came with a salad. A basic pub meal if your into that sort of thing. Very clean. Kids will enjoy as its got stuffed animals everywhere. Do I want to go back? Yeah but not in to much of a hurry, but I would go back. Pretty basic ... so so...
M.I always enjoy taking friends or family here. The service is lovely and the coffee delicious! My newly acquired coffee card will almost guarantee that I will be back regularly!

N.Visited on a Monday morning, must of had a busy weekend as there wasn't alot of cabinet food. The date scone was nice and my better half said the cheese rolls were delicious. If your lucky enough to get the front corner table, the stop sign on the intersection keeps you entertained
R.It's okay, but nothing that blew my socks off. It's location is amazing and they don't really take advantage of it, only two tables outside and no shade. The custard slice was $5.50, it wasn't a Dunheath one, it looked okay but seemed pricey. They had plenty of cabinet food to choose from, if you're in a hurry and want something quickly it would work, probably just about the only place in the vicinity. They do ice creams too but they were closed when we tried to get one.
J.First time visiting this quirky cafe, nice and welcoming. We enjoyed a coffee and mini mud cake. Kids will love the giant stuffed animals scattered around the cafe
S.I had the perfect hot chocolate here. Piping hot and not too sweet. Friendly staff and a great place for little kids with oversized stuffed toy animals.
B.While it is perfectly clean and the staff were lovely, and it's right by the breaking waves of St Clair, I have to say it wasn't anything special. The muffin I had was moist and tasty, the eggs Benedict looked fine, again nothing special. The stuffed animals everywhere was a bit odd tho. So it's called"the zoo cafe" but if you're gonna do a theme then go all out and do the theme all the way. So, yeah, nice, but just a cafe.

K.We much preferred this café over the larger more "trendy" joints along the Esplanade. Lovely coffee and I appreciated the typical café food such as the sweet slices and biscuits, toasted and regular sandwiches as opposed to Chia seed smoothie bowls with a lilo of haloumi and smashed avocado! Nice atmosphere and very sweet staff. Will definently return.

G.I like this cafe - good location further along the St Clair Esplanade and great views. I have been there a number of times now and always had good friendly service, nice selection of food and drinks, great coffee.
Plenty of room inside for all, including children, among the stuffed animals. Ice cream available also.
They are now offering 10% discount with a Gold card on Tuesdays.
L.This cafe is reasonably priced with a great range. My wife is vego, my daughter a coeliac with hi level special needs, and I’m a meat eater. Gluten free options are not only good, but cooked with proper separation too. There are good vego and meat options too. Great place
B.If you're going to this cafe, you can expect a clean cafe with friendly staff. What you're not going to find is a great selection of food, if there were more options on the All Day menu, this cafe could be so much better.
M.A good alternative choice if the hot salt pool cafe is full

J.I gave a previous poor review which was a little unfair, think I just went there on a bad day. Visited again recently and it was pretty good, coffee was good and kids entertained. Toasted sandwiches were below average though and food expensive for what it is.
