Wow. Just wow. Simply the best burger I’ve eaten ever. Homemade sauces, chutney, brioche buns. Nothing spared, no shortcuts taken and prepared with care and pride in the final product. Featherstone, you are very very lucky indeed.

These are the best burgers ever, made by spunky ladies in a stylish joint. I would eat here every week if I lived in Featherston. The burger is moist and full of flavour, not at all greasy or sloppy. Fresh and delicious.

Absolutely jewel in the local cuisine trail. Staff service is great, and the burgers are stunning. Worth every penny and more. Great place to unwind and enjoy good company and food. A must.

Absolutely the best burger I have had in NZ. The house made bun is unlike anything I have ever had. It’s light but super flavourful. The beef patty was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. Topped with “shredduce” !!! IYKYK 😉 Thank you Vixen that was incredible and we will be back! Definitely worth a drive to Featherston.

Vixen burgers lived up to the Google review expectations. Fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked, and tasty. Funky decor and a neat little garden adjacent where you can eat if the weather plays ball. I had the mushroom. Burger and it was excellent.

Chose this based on the excellent reviews already posted and because we wanted quick takeaways. Was as good as we expected, and also reasonably priced for gourmet burgers. The bonus was a nice outside area to eat in. Well done team, keep it up.

Had one of each of their beef, chicken, and veggie options tonight, absolutely delicious. Fast service, great staff, and a lovely night. Perfect “I don’t want to cook tonight” option.

Great service, superb menu, awesome experience overall. The online ordering and pickup time option is an absolutely brilliant addition to the service - so there’s no real excuse not to have the team sort out your dinner as soon as you know it’s going to be a takeaway evening 👍🏽

Amazing dinner from Vixon on Saturday. Had their welly on a plate Rimataka Roast burger which was so delicious and first time I've voted for a WOAP burger as it was so good. Really good chips and really good salad. Obvious lots of thought had gone into the flavors and textures of every detail! Looking forward to going back.

Me and a couple of friends got some takeaways from this place. The burger was so amazing, I usually am very picky on how I like my burgers but this burger definitely was amazing. I also got a side of fries and they were just amazing not to salted but not under salted really in the good spot. keep it up team!!

Oh. My. Word. These burgers are next level! I’m a regular at burger joints in Lower Hutt, including the mighty Dirty Burger but these folks are going to give them a run for their money! Kahurangi cheese and kalamata relish… wow, what a combination! Possibly even better than their WOAP option which was pretty amazing too. Almost worth a drive over the hill just for the burger!! No GF buns sadly but they do offer a “naked” option and given how big the burgers are, would still be a decent feed combined with their generously proportioned home style chunky fries which are almost as impressive as the burgers!! A+. no surprise every one rates them 5 stars!

Who would have thought, the best burgers in NZ are from Featherston! They are tastier and more gastronomically adventurous than most sit down meals in the region... and the fries... oh the fries... I don't know how they do it but they too are the best in NZ. They have got the balance of fluffy white potato, crunchy outer and flaky sea salt down pat. Wonderfully skilled... friendly... creative geniuses.

We just had our burgers takeaway and they were absolutely gorgeous. Foxy Lady was particularly delicious (I'm big fan of blue cheese). Our fries were yummy and crunchy but so thick so they were fluffy in the middle. My partner said that that was the best burger he's ever eaten 👏 and we will definitely be back to try other burgers 🍔

Great burgers! And the chips are fantastic, too! They can customise you burger to your liking, such as adding bacon. It is not on the main highway but well worth the visit. I highly recommend Vixen Burgers.

We had the Vixen and Zorro burgers, both were excellent. The balance of patties, buns, and fillings was spot on. We also had some chips and they were hot, crunchy, and overall delicious. We particularly liked that they were skin-on and the portion was just right to share between two as a side. We'll definitely be back next time we're passing through.

This place is awesome, they haven't been open long but have been killing it since day one. Delicious gourmet burgers absolutely packed with flavour while still being well balanced. Menu is great top to bottom and you will be looked after by their friendly crew.

Tonight after 43 years I ate something I’ve never eaten in a chicken burger... a moist piece of chicken. Great, flavourful burgers on delicious fresh buns and thick tasty chips. Winner!

The burgers and fries were great recipes, well put together, creative. However, the fat or oil the fries and burger were cooked in needed changing. It was rancid and ruined the meal.
