Reviews of Empire Sports & Garden Bar Restaurant
J.We got a handy car park on Stafford Street.
The Restauant had a $10 lunch menu with a range of choices which we had seen advertised in the local paper. We walked through to the dining area with tables. There was also another room with pool tables and an outdoor area to sit in better weather. Efficient friendly service, and a nice polite check up after the meal was served. The beef open sandwich was tasty and well cooked but cooled quickly. The chicken burgers looked good and didn't fall apart while being eaten. Nice small amount of fries well cooked with dipping sauce.
Cutlery and serviettes in a container on the table, and the menu propped in a heavyweight stand which was a clever creative form of advertising for a drink (see photo). Good value meal.
T.Awesome place, first time visit for me. Came with a group of 25. Staff were wonderful and my steak was cooked perfectly and served with fries and a nice fresh salad, reasonable prices too, I'll be back, thank you :)

J.I love the empire. My go to pub. Shazeel is the best bartender, he goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is having a good night. Highly recommend!!
F.A very nice place to eat! Menu is small and uncluttered, which is generally a good sign and means the cooks know how to nail everything on it. Waiting time is a little long but I'm not the sort of person who cares, so long as the end product is good. I'm a big fan of the thursday night steaks, which are excellent. Staff seem friendly and pleasant, though this is a sports bar so it's just racing on the TV. Definitely worth visiting.
R.Your typical pub grub at a cheap price. I wouldn't bother with the beef nachos. You only get like 40g of mince.
Still undecided if they know how to cook a steak. Pricing is reasonable but expected. They also have deals for certain days of the week for food.
Would also be a benefit to them if they had an online menu, or some form of web site.
L.We had a reunion here on the 1st June for over 40 people. The level of service was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious. We could not fault the food. I highly recommend the Empire Sports & Garden Bar.
