c.The till is up some stairs so not easy to get to . Reasonable range of choices to choose from for dinner. My husband was pleased to be able to habe some venison. He said it was cooked well. Just how he likes it.
K.Fabulous food, 7 superb meals, couldn't fault. Table service was good but not very friendly ,pretty sure she wasn't smiling under her mask. Will definitely go back for the food and hope everyone's having a better day next time.😁
C.Called in for an easy meal. Got the steak eggs and chips. Huge portions and cooked to perfection. The wait staff were awesome and the chef asked if we wanted mushroom sauce with our meals. The sauce was killer tasty. Happy to highly recommend this place.
S.Wow, brunch has not been so easy, the sevice was great, our waitress was onto it with drinks first while food was prepared. It was quiet busy and food flowed out of the Kitchen almost constantly. Our meals were fantastic and the bread was so not store brought like the last 2 star writen reveiw. I think that person had issues as this place was outstanding. Just dont be that kind of person and tip the staff because you had a great meal and then leave a bad reveiw... these guys are totally worth it.

L.Wonderful experience at Essence. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, food was delivered quickly, and it was hot and delicious. Its a shame they are not open on Mondays or I would be back for brunch before heading for home.

C.Always great food here. For the 1st time though, we were placed next to a very noisy table. We asked if we could be moved but to no avail. I don't have a problem with people having fun as I am not the anti fun police. But.... when I can't even here my partner or other family members talk because another table is soooo loud???

Was not a pleasurable experience. When you pay good money to eat out, and you are trying to celebrate a family occasion. The experience is ruined when you are having to sit next to a group of loud mouths.
Staff could have/should have sorted.
J.Attentive interested staff. Clean and pleasant surroundings. Lovely meal, good choice on the menu. Pork was so tender. Looking forward to a return visit winter meal when the fire is lit.
C.We enjoyed a very delicious lunch at Essence, we both ordered Seafood Chowder & Feijoa & Apple Crumble for dessert..... came with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. We highly recommend the food and the waiter was very great - he was very informative and attentive to everyone's needs. We hadn't realized Essence was open and had a lunchtime menu - will definitely be recommending now! :)

K.Awesome service. We booked a table for 6 for my elderly fathers birthday at very short notice on Sunday. The wait staff read the people at our table really well and provided an exceptional experience. The food was sterling. Will definitely book Essence again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
N.A great place to eat with a large group. Very attentive waiter with a great manner and some good banter. Food was excellent and tasty and well presented. They were fairly busy but food came in a timely fashion. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Fielding. Cheers
M.I love essence. I come here quite often, we get the fish of the day with chips and salad every time. The service is so good as well, our server was hilarious. Nice drinks as well. My favourite restaurant in Feilding!!

L.I have to say, I have had great meals in other places in Feilding, but this place blew the others out of the water, we had the beef and it was mouth watering, will be booking a table shortly, the staff where lovely, never tasted such wonderful food, my mouth is still watering, thank you to an excellent chef and staff.

S.Good kids meals and they made colouring pencils available so they had a little entertainment while they waited. I had the Buddha Bowl which was delicious! Friendly staff that happily made a tiny sundae for the youngest when she was regretting her decision to turn down a full sundae. Pretty pricey all up but everyone was full and happy so no regrets.
T.Nice atmosphere, great fish of the day. The veggie combo was tasty but, alas, not hot enough. Timing perhaps a little off. But worth a visit certainly.
