R.What a hidden treasure! I ordered the Salmon Special - was cooked beautifully. My husband got their chicken and bacon pie- he shared a bite with me and it was one of the best pies I've ever had. The pastry was crispy and filled with bacon and chicken filling. We ordered the $12 platter for my 4 year old daughter and were amazed by the generous portion - sausage roll, ham sandwich, apples, grapes ( a little sad looking) and a caramel slice. Pleased she couldn't finish it so I ate the sausage roll and that was so good.
S.Great outdoor area with beautiful gardens and large tables. Double shot coffee is really nice. Big breakfast is quite standard but still ok. Recommended!
P.Very very good flat white coffee and a hot choc with soy milk. Steak pie is very nice. A bacon with cheese roll is lovely for a cheese lover. 😁👍
p.We dropped by Geraldine for a late lunch before we went on the inland scenic drive. This cafe has an amazing garden and we were lucky to be able to get a table under a gorgeous cherry blossom tree. We truly felt like we were having a Hanami in New Zealand. The food (Pork Belly Bun and corn fritters) were just lovely and the coffee was nice. We took our time and enjoyed our lunch in the garden.
A.Lovely setting outside in the garden area, the salmon slice with salad (which was extra $4.50) was nice. Chicken & Bacon pie pastry was nice n light with salad also
H.Hubby and I enjoyed brunch outside in the pretty garden at Cafe Verde in the autumn sunshine. The staff were all super happy, friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed my high country salmon, perfectly cooked, accompanied by a potato, spinach and feta frittata and tomato relish. The coffee was hot and had lots of flavour. I would have given 5 stars, except for the 2 minor issues my husband had with his meal: partially runny whites on his fried eggs, and a knife that wasn't sharp enough to cut the bacon. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cafe to all passing through this delightful town.
L.What a wonderful place to have some light lunch, a good cappuccino and a relaxing time to chatter! The Café Verde fully earned the five stars and maybe more for their beautiful garden settings. The cappuccino and turmeric latte - perfect and hot as preferred. The eggs Benedict with very delicious salmon and the fish pie tasted as good as they look. Their garden is amazing. Make sure to plan your lunch stop at Café Verde and enjoy this little paradise.

M.Very nice pit stop for brunch on the way to Mount Cook. The cherry blossom in the outside seating area was in full bloom and was idyllic on this sunny morning. The inside seating area was just as nice with a rustic look. I had Eggs Benedict and my partner had french toast - both came out quite promptly and were very tasty. Will definitely pop in again.
O.A very popular cafe in Geraldine. Very great strong coffee. The cafe offers a very wide choice of food (cakes, sandwiches, all day breakfast, pasta, soup, risotto etc). It evens offer corn cake! Expect to spend 5-10 min to line up to place your orders at the counter and at least 20-30 mins for food during rush hours. Friendly staff and beautiful setting.
D.Just had the French toast with berry compote. Haven't had this since I was a child so it brought back happy memories. It was delicious with a perfect balance of sweet cinnamon and sugar with the sharp flavor of the berries. My husband enjoyed the big breakfast and we both had great coffee. This is a lovely Cafe back off the main street. It is a converted house and they have done it up beautifully. We visited in the winter but in the summer it would be stunning as they have lovely grounds. I would recommend booking a table as this cafe is very popular

L.This is a really special place to visit in Geraldine. It is down the alley and not seen directly from the main street. We absolutely loved being able to sit outside in the beautiful garden setting. The food is delicious and you can choose from a large variety of hot or cold drinks. We will definitely be back to enjoy the lovely outside setting.
A.Gereldine is the sort of town you drive through to get somewhere else. It is full of scowling baby boomers staring at you wanting to know your business. We would normally make our way through as quickly as possible. On one long trip we were particularly hungry and decided to stop for brunch. Verde Cafedeli is a beautiful spot with a nice little well kept garden. It is out of the way from nosey locals and had excellent well priced fare. Highly recommend... Then get the hell out of town!

A.A wise person once told me, "always go where the locals go". Well Café Verde is that place in Geraldine. We received wonderful service by the busy team. The food was fantastic and generously sized. I had the Vege Bowl and it was divine.

a.This is a beautiful place where you can relax and unwind with a coffee or a tasty bite of cake, quiche, salad or something else of your taste. The rose garden is gorgeous! Prices ok, coffee standard prices from 3.80-5.00 $, cakes approx. 5$, salads and snacks around 10$. The staff is friendly and fast. Big plus: drinking water in bottles for free :) it's close to the main road nevertheless it's a quiet place

R.Great coffee and service, I had the seasonal vegetable stack which sadly was rather bland, It was ment to have a potato and feta cake with it but I just got a flavourless pile of cooked potatoes. This dish could have been so much better had they added some more dressing to it and maybe spiced it up with some grilled holumi and seasoned the potatoes. The rest of the meals we ordered were great and everyone enjoyed their coffees
