N.The food is absolutely stupendously delicious. I dare say the best pizza in New Zealand. However the front staff can be a bit more professional in their approach, especially when it comes to serving people and waiting times. If it wasn't for that I would give this 5⭐
T.I ordered a GF meat lovers and it was definitely one of the best I had so far. Lovely staff, great atmosphere.
Not sure why we had to leave the credit card at the counter. Not something I am comfortable with.
E.Neighbourhood pizzeria never disappoints. Epic staff, always good vibes, great afternoon sun and great pizza. Vegan friendly options. Highly recommend the garlic flatbread with vegan cheese ✌️
T.Service was really slow, given the place was relatively empty. Beautiful outside seating area with zero ambience. No music or outside lighting. Lucky the owners brother had lit the outside brazier or we would have been eating in the dark. We couldn't order the pizza we wanted, as they had run out of the ingredients to make it. What we had was okay. Garlic bread was really nice. Everything else was a little bit average.
C.First of all I feel very sorry for that review, cos the staff is very friendly and except the pizza, everything was great.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the home made fries with the special sauce, this was really delicious.
⭐️⭐️for the pizza, Im a real pizza lover and I had a lot pizza in my life, all around the world. And I know its very difficult to find a real good pizza in NZ, but there’re some around. OK these are also Italian pizza shops, so a comparison is not always fair.
But if you like pizza you have an expectation, its all about the dough.
90% is the dough
7% is the pizza sauce
3% is just the topping
This pizza was super burned at the edges and it was also super crusty (thats not bad at all) but the taste was more like a crisp bread then a pizza.
E.No doubt my favourite and go to for pizza in Gizzy. Was really disappointed by an hour wait from a phone order of two pizzas, that was lengthen by another half hour of sitting waiting in store. Lovely staff and place, just would be awesome to see more efficient service :)
R.Great place to go for a relaxed get together or fun family occasion. The menu had a pizza to suit every taste. Friends I was with said the cocktails were great (I was driving).
P.Best pizza we've had in a while. Weather a bit cold, but the outside tables are under this huge flowering cherry!
T.Unfortunately we didn’t like the pizza. Quite small pizza with a dough like crispbread. 25$ was also way to expensive for that pizza. But chips, atmosphere and staff were nice 👍
A.Great atmosphere, pizzas were very good. We got a margarita and a pepperoni. My only comment is that the base could be cooked a little longer, mine was a bit soft and floppy. (On the pepperoni only) This is just my preference though.
Other than that, everything was spot on.

B.Probably the best pizza we've both ever had in New Zealand. Margherita was fresh and juicy and the meat on meatlovers was actual quality meat, not some cheap stuff you'd usually get. Pizza base was exactly what you'd expect an authentic Italian pizza base to be. Beers were lovely too. We left the restaurant absolutely satisfied.

C.So glad I discovered and tried this in the few days i stayed in gisborne. It does require a long wait though so i think book online might have been better. But the pizzas had really interesting flavours and so good i could easily finish a whole one myself
n.Great Pizza's and atmosphere, but just cant keep up with demand, so can be a long wait!! Hopefully they can double their oven capacity to halve the wait time and pump out more yummy pizza's

K.Slightly pricy joint, although probably expected for the locale, but you definitely get what you pay for. Amazing pizzas and interesting beers on tap. Unfortunately I was enjoying my pizza so much I forgot to take a photo. Outdoor area with bbq tables under the trees makes for a nice retreat from the summer sun.

l.After arriving in Gisborne, we didn't feel like cooking dinner so ordered online from the Neighbourhood Pizzeria. They had a great range to choose from and we all picked something different. I tasted what the others ordered and they were all great, hard to choose a favourite. We generally make our own pizzas but these were the tastiest pizzas I have bought in a long time.

S.Every time I travel with work to Gisborne this place is top of my list for dinner. Awesome pizza, some really good topping combos and cooked to perfection - only thing was their website wasn't working to place an order, so just called instead which was fine. Great place highly recommend!
S.I had read another's review that this place did the best vegan pizza they had ever had. Vegan pizza wasn't on the menu so couldn't pre order, but strolled up, and ordered with no problems, our pizzas were ready in about 10 minutes. They were really tasty. A must try for anyone visiting Gisborne
