Its worth the drive from Dunedin, lovely boss at the 5.30pm shift Saturday, great staff, all our order was correct, all food hot, chips were the best we have had in a year, way nicer than we have been getting at the south Dunedin McDonald's lately, even said hi to the children, and had country Xmas music playing, 10 out of 10

Usually a great place with awesome customer service amazing staff kind and friendly. But today I don't know what happened we first had to wait 5mins for someone to appear to take our order then we ordered 3 frozen drinks had to wait at least 10 mins. Then they were put on the counter and told 3 frozen drinks and that was it. No telling us which flavour was which or the order number.

Well designed and able to cope with large groups. Struggles to keep up with high quality cleaning and clearing in the customer areas. Bathrooms need more frequent attention although the dark tiles make this all very challenging.

This particular McDonalds was capable of serving 12 people in our group large fries, without any hesitation or embarrassment. The seating was flexible, and could accommodate the whole group in 1 area. Fries tasted fresh, crisp and each person was given sauce and some flavouring. Great place for fast food.

We enjoy that we can sit in and watch the kids playing in the small kids playground, there are also well placed seats and windows to allow parents to keep an eye on children whilst seated at bigger tables just outside the playground. Staff appear polite. Hot drinks are consistently delicious. The drive thru is fairly narrow.

Only place we could park our 11m rig of SUV and caravan. Had burgers with McCafe coffees. Coffees were Great. Tables not as clean as could be owing to busyness of a wet school holidays lunchtime

Big meal with family, was quality, served quick. One tip though when ordering a triple cheeseburger don't set the amount of pickles at 4 at the ordering machine thing, I got Two (2) slices of pickle in my burger but that's my only criticism of maccas at the moment

I mean it’s the only one in Gore and it’s not bad so that’s pretty cool. I also loved the indoor play area for the kids. Having nannied two littles, it was the perfect place for rainy days and French fries.

Had Georgie pies, which was great, as Invercargill hardly ever has even though it's on the menu. The toilets let them down as there was pee on the seat and toilet paper everywhere on the floor. Staff where really lovely and friendly, shame about the cleaness
