T.Fabulous food that just got better as the evening went on - not just because of the wonderful wine 😁. We even had desserts to keep tasting the yumminess. A big thank you to all those in the kitchen. Will definitely be back again soon. The staff were perfectly attentive too.

N.Superb on all counts. We visited Pinocchio on a Thu evening. The meals were delicious, beautifully presented and each course was just the right size (I won't list the details of each - it was all outstanding). The service was friendly, professional and prompt. The ambience was perfect, with the music pleasant and not too loud (unlike most restaurants, it seems) and the building itself has character, with a nice sunny aspect in the evening. We all agreed it was quite possibly the best dining experience we've ever had (and this is the first restaurant review I've ever submitted). I'm tempted to visit Greytown again just so I can enjoy another meal at Pinocchio. Fantastic.
C.This was second time I've been here and I would go again. The food is a step above in quality of the other restaurants I've tried in town in Martinborough (for the same price). The duck is incredible!! The salmon is also delicious. And the staff are lovely.

I.Paid $21 for six small strips of calamari -- thought that was pretty ridiculous. Mains were very good, complex flavors well put together. Hard to get over experience with entree though. Didn't stay for dessert to avoid repeating mistake.
T.My friend and I went to Pinocchio last night (New Year's Eve) and had the 3 course set menu.
We eat out a lot and experience a lot of amazing food but the food at Pinocchio was THE BEST food we have had in a long time.
The entrée of coconut prawns had incredible pops of flavour in the form of dehydrated mandarins and two different kinds of gels.
I had the smoked salmon as the main. The salmon was SO beautiful, every bite melted in my mouth. The kumara "potato salad" was incredible too. The sauces that came with the dish complemented the salmon perfectly.
The lemon tart was outstanding. The filling was so tart and the fresh raspberries made for an exciting sour pop when eaten with the tart (it was so good but I also dreaded it because the combination was SO sour but I also loved every single bite.) The tart also featured the delightful dehydrated mandarin!
After two courses, the lemon tart was the perfect end to the meal, it was refreshing and not at all heavy.
Absolutely stunning food. I can't get over how good it was. $79 for 3 impeccable dishes was absolutely worth it.
I couldn't move for at least 3 hours afterwards due to being completely stuffed with food but I would do it all again in an instant!
Would definitely go back next time we're in the area.

Outstanding food and service. People who have supposedly had a not so good experience here need to look at themselves and try to understand that life and hospitality are not always perfect. Ellie and her team fall over backwards to accommodate peoples expectations and needs. I don't have a problem with people complaining but some of the posted negative comments are pretty pathetic. It is very hard to please everyone down to the last detail, some people are impossible to please at anything.
