I had the Vegan beyond burger and it was absolutely delicious! The fries also came with vegan tumeric mayo which was absolutely delicious. Then for dessert I got the Vegan chocolate sundae but they made it vegan for me and its not usually on their menu. They made it especially for me. Then they made me a vegan garlic flat bread for me and gave it to me for free. The Indian guy in front of house is the best! The staff are so friendly. The food was absolutely scrumptious, definitely worth a visit.

Good quality food. Only criticism was that the quantity of the food was varied. The rice bowls were a bit small in serving size based on the price. Wait staff were really friendly and the place wasn't busy so the food arrived in a reasonable time.

Tried the bird on a waffle and it was fab! Real soft waffle, great chicken. Massive feed! The iced americano was great too. Will definitely be back! Happy opening day, team! Edit: been back more than a few times. Have a hard time going past the waffle but have tried the Mother Clucker and a bird bowl too.

I missed the opening day 3 months ago. Seems like Hamilton East is becoming a great dining spot for the city. Nice decorations, enjoyed the service and amazing food. We just ordered two dishes, Parmegiana and salad. Loved the seasoning in the salad, specifically the tofu one, which makes a great combination with kumara. The chicken was fantastic and worth every penny. The salon was not too full when we arrived, but when we left most of the tables were full. Good signal of a great place to be. For kids, awesome to see heaps of colorful pencils to entertain them while waiting for the food. Certainly will come back soon.

Enjoyed the ambiance here, casual yet styley themed, love the whole Chicken theme. Music was good and the right volume, staff provided good service without being intrusive, food was nice and as expected for a place like this, we were surprised how many people on a Wednesday night popped in to enjoy a meal here, obviously the place has regulars which is a sign of a good well-liked eatery. The chocolate waffles were totally next level and we both joked we could easily come back and just enjoy a casual catch up over the waffles, delicious! will be back to try the belgium waffles next! Two very satisfied chefs having a night off cooking :)

Literally my new favourite breakfast 🧇🍗 🥓 ☕️ 🤤 so good! Super friendly staff, family friendly, baby change table in toilets, And the coffee was good! Definitely recommend

I called in and asked for something they didn’t sell which was a boiled egg I was craving it and that’s all I wanted. The lowest they could charge me was $5 which I didn’t mind. They ended up giving me two boiled eggs, two slices of toast, some butter and spinach. Was very happy with that! (The toast was really good)

Me and My Partner had Bird on A Waffle. Highly recommend this sweet Savoury Dish. Waffle was Made to Perfection and The combination of Ice Cream, fried Chicken and syrup and bacon was Delicious. We both enjoyed it thank you. Great customer Service and was able to order our meal prior to arriving at the venue for dine in Service.

Had a nice time with friends.First time.Food was good but the portions are quite small for the price compared to other places. The bigger portion was the tufo that my friend ordered. Overall was happy with food,service and ambiance.

Pretty damn good! Service was fast, the chicken was hot and the thickshakes were THICK. We had buttermilk chicken, korean sticky chicken, loaded fries and a korean chicken bowl and they were all really good! Massive serving too, between 3 of us we couldn't finish it all!

The Veggs (vegan) Bene is so good and super filling. My daughter loved the chocolate waffles. Thanks guys, we enjoy our meals every time we come there.

The pesto chicken salad is tasty, but for the price the portion is quite small. Also there wasn't very much cheese.

I had to ask for table to be wiped clean and the waitress obliged very nicely. Meals over priced for what they were, particularly the burger that was ordered.

I will give this place a 3 star review at this moment. I love the food here. Have been a few times in the short time it's been open. First time- take away wrap, wait was good and wrap was amazing, friendly staff. Second time- dine in during lunch break. After 40 minutes we had not had our food so we walked up and asked about it. Staff did not seem to understand what had happened to our food. However within 10 minutes we had our food. I thought the meal was still really good and was happy. We only got offered a drink as compensation. when we paid I mentioned the situation and we got offered a discount on our meals, but we had to ask for this. Third time- take away again. The wait was long and not acknowledged when order was placed. (At lunch hour peak) I still believe there is time for improvement, I will be back for sure!

This place is amazing! We stopped in for breakfast on our way back home to Tauranga and were greeted with friendly faces and had our order taken quickly. The food was INCREDIBLE- we ordered the "bird on a waffle" and the "bird eggs bene". Yummy flavors, decent portion sizes and absolutely nothing we could fault. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Hamilton!

Very prompt and timely service. One of the best eateries in Hamilton. Great location in Hamilton East on Grey Street. Lots of parking off street nearby.

Great bang for your buck! I ordered the Buttermilk Bene and was feeling full already once I ate half of the plate! Great balance of flavours. The potato rosti as a substitute for a bread base was a nice twist to the dish! Staff could’ve been a bit friendlier but nonetheless the service was quick and the food was great😊

Really tasty, but so expensive... I really want to support local, but just can't justify the prices. Especially when there is a fried chicken shop just down the road, just as good (and I don't mean KFC..). I wish them well, but we won't be back ☹️

Cool place, love the decor. Waffles were amazing! Service was quite casual, server sat his butt on the table next to us to take our order on Ipad which we found a little too causal lol but all good.
