Don't be put off by the signage and name - this place is fantastic. Really good vegetarian options but I had the lamb biryani and it was absolutely lovely. The food is cooked fresh so it's not as instantaneous as some will be used to but absolutely delicious!

Good for a quick lunch and way better than lunch from a mall outlet. There are better places nearby, though.
An interesting feature of the menu is the additional charges to make the dish hot, very hot etc. I had a chicken vindaloo, and while it was nice enough, it didn't have the hot intensity I usually associate with vindaloo, and I've just worked out why...I didn't pay extra to have it made hot.
As I said above, there's a place nearby who include a drink in their $10 lunch deal so I won't come back here.

Great Kashmiri food. The hosts Madhu and Ramesh are excellent.

I went there at about 7:30 pm and i was the only one in there.
Nevertheless the service was very kind and welcoming.
The food tasted very good as well.
Price was also very good for what i got.
I would recommend to check out.

The ambience was quite good. Chicken Tikka and Nasi goreng was good. Chicken briyani was very average, was more of masala and did not taste like an authentic briyani. Sweet Lassi was very watery, the curd taste was missing and it tasted bad. I have had Hot and Sour chicken soup couple of times here, I always loved it but this time soup also tatsed okay. Overall the food experience was average. If tatse standards are always maintained at the same level, it would have been a good experience.
A.
Really really good tasting curries, had a great authentic taste. You could actually see the vegetables in the meal!
The paratha and roti were very fresh and the onion bhajis were out of this world. Will be back thanks!
R.
Food very nice, however a little different from the presentation I was expecting. Slow service but worth the wait.

The restaurant was superb and the food so authentic. We were a party of four on 27.03.2021. Service is outstanding and lovely ambience. Deserves 5 stars in every way.

Came here on a quiet night so it seemed very spacious. The menu is large with a good selection of starters and mains. The order was taken in good time and drinks were brought quickly. Food took a little long but it was worth it! Good quality curry and at the exact heat I wanted. I'm sure I will be back again!

Had lunch here - really tasty omelette. Menu was varied and reasonably priced. Would recommend eating here if in town although there seemed to be loads of places to eat in town.great place to take kids or fish and chips, burgers, salads, coffee or even a beer , fully licensed eat here quite often.

Me and my partner liked the food. Good service. Alan tried the Malaysian Ayam chef style chicken with seasonal veggies which was really good. I tried steak Madagascar which was quite different from usual steak dishes!
S.
Wonderful hospitality and food from husband and wife team, Ramesh and Madhu. No mass produced food here! Each dish is delicately hand seasoned fresh each time. Extensive Indian menu plus Malaysian, Continental, and even for kids. All of them delicious so keep everyone happy. Enjoy a quiet conversation with your dinner partners in this newly decorated tasteful, comfortable. roomy and airy restaurant. Excellent for parties or group occasions. Average mains $14. You'll be back. We've enjoyed this food for years!!

In my opinion this restaurant is special and one of the underrated dining gems in Hamilton.
Unlike many other indian restaurants the food here is made completely from scratch, so the food is fresh and delicious with flavours quite unlike anything else you will find in Hamilton.
Service is good, but this is a small family operated restaurant, so don't expect to be waited on hand and foot for drinks or continually asked how your meal is, as in some other restaurants.
The wait times can be quite long at 30 minutes or more, particularly if busy. It pays to call ahead and pre-order where possible.
The lunch specials are well priced, so that is a good time to go. I have been probably 20+ times and although there has been the odd off day, the food is quite special and well worth a visit.

Easily my favourite indian restaurant. If you're sick of having a cup of sugar in your buttered chicken then come here and taste the goodness. Would give 6 stars if I could.
R.
Food was quite nice, a different taste from others.
Difference I found is that, other restaurants are making similar curry for all food but they make different curry for different food, seems very Authentic Indian food.
Service is bit slow but worth waiting for the delicious food.

Try Steak Madagascar! One of the best I tasted here in NZ. As always, they serve it freshly cooked and you will feel full and satisfied after eating here. The customer service is great. I love the food in that place! Also, try their Laccha Paratha. Flaky on the outside and soft on the inside flat bread.
R.
Good sized servings of tasty food for a reasonable price. Friendly staff.

Love it the food and staff are awesome. Again another family meal at our favorite resturant. The menu covers every ones tastes that's why we happily go back.

I've ordered butter chicken from this restaurant since I was 18 years old! I am 29 now and have not come across another restaurant that serves authentic butter chicken here in hamilton. I never used to like butter chicken before eating at chefs because i thought it was supposed to be served with a tonne of sugar and cream in the recipe but the authentic butter chicken chefs serve is delicious
B.
Butter chicken was so authentic. You can tell they put time and effort into making it. Its natural tasting and not fake like the one in food courts with excessive amounts of food coloring. It was not overally sweet/salty. The garlic Naan was chard to perfection. All in all prob one of the best butter chickens I have had...EVER.
It's a cosy warm atmosphere and is tucked away on Collingwod street just off the main street of Victoria.
I highly recommend this place.
They also specialise in Malaysian cuisine.

Very friendly, owner operated restaurant. The food was beautiful - and generous quantities. Prices excellent. We had a wonderful and enjoyable time - will be back. Thank you, Chefs International.
C.
Super friendly and accommodating staff. Butter chicken ,one of the best we've had, different taste and much less sugar. Would recommend!
M.

J.
This was great food and the staff extreemerly nice, was also very well priced for the area. Had a huge range of dishes on the menu. Would recomend.

Ambience is better and located in CBD. International cuisines requires definite wheelbarrow. Customer service is currently a moon walker. Can be little quick. Still a old town !!
J.
Very tasty Indian vegie curry, friendly service.
I.
Really tasty home cooked style food. Very warm and friendly atmosphere and did I say? delcious food!!

Living now in Europe, I miss Ramesh and Madhu and their awesome food everyday. Their café has always be the place I went to feel good.
I tried to get Ramesh's roti bread recipe numerous times but his answer has always been "you need butter" and that's it. Clever man....
S.
Ramesh and Madhu have been cooking fabulous meals when there opposition has been and gone many times over. They've survived by cooking some of the best curries around. It's a small, intimate place where they do everything themselves so the service isn't 5 star and can suffer when they're busy but Madhu will remember you and what you had.
Very much a "second home" sort of place to eat.
D.
Food is lovely. Seems only the owners work here who are very nice. Nice way to support a local family.
S.
I really enjoy coming to this restaurant. The prices are decent and the food is tasty. My favourite is the Butter chicken and Chicken fried rice!
