Not a fast-food takeaway an actual restaurant vibe.. Made to order fresh . Often buy family pack Biryani, informed about change in taste and they changed/sorted promptly on our subsequent orders. Undoubtedly Biryani experts in town.

This is a cosy restaurant tucked away in the corner just next to Two Birds. The food is authentic and delicious - I should know! It's run by a really lovely and (for the girls), good looking young man who's very hospitable. I enjoy talking to him -always polite and with a nice smile. I've made it my lunch time haunt. Both the Thosai and the Briyanis are great. Check it out.

I have tried dosa in Hamilton and Auckland but the dosa what I had in food magic is by far the best authentic one. Food reminded me of my home town back in South India. Customer service is brilliant. I strongly recommend this place to all dosa lovers.

A hidden gem! We were a little sceptical at first, but just as some of these smaller less-known places are, the food was excellent!! The wait staff were so friendly and passionate about the food they were serving. They were also happy to describe the flavour of each dish which was very helpful.

Just want to share my experience with food magic this week - I came from Auckland and it was my friend’s recommendation to have a dinner over there.Food quality and the taste was amazing, nice staff , great customer service. Thanks ADIL for your great service. I would recommend all my family and friends to go food magic at least once ... Mouth watering food with a cult of taste.

My partner and I came here for a mid day snack. We had the idli, dosa and a masala dosa between the 2 of us and I have to say we enjoyed the food! It was so fresh and felt so homemade! The waitress and chef were so welcoming! Really enjoyed our experience here. It's a small place with limited seating that's easy to miss, but the food and warm hospitality make up for it! You guys are doing a great job! Keep it up!

One of the best Authentic Hyderabadi biryani, they are quiet consistent in their taste and quality. It was really a good experience. Hamilton chicken was also good. I would strongly recommend to all Hamilton residents to try it once. People have to be aware that Hyderabadi cuisine is loaded with spices (garam masala), so if you are mentally prepared you will enjoy it. Thanks Ravinder Reddy B

Very authentic taste of Chicken and Mutton Biryani of Hyderabad i had in Hamilton after many trails across Auckland and other parts of North Island. If you want to have that hyderabadi punch of spices and hotness this is the place to try out Biryani. Takeaway boxs are small for the price of $12 when you compare to other places ex:Auckland Sandringham takeaways. Hope serving quantity increases. Please keep the real dum going.

I have tried soo many places in New Zealand. Finally @Food Magic is the best place for authentic dosas. I ordered three different types of dosa’s for takeaway. All taste great. I will dine in again soon. Keep it up guys!

Magic all the way from mouth to tummy. The chicken biryani is so yummy. hamilton chicken and chicken pakoda tastes fantastic.Words don’t do justice to the flavor here, Just come and try it out. Very active n helpful staff...customer service was wonderful.... Food was delicious as expected.... Recommendations to friends n family would be high.

We tried paneer dosa..little spicy but was very yummy. The chef lady was very nice, she offered our little son plain dosa complimentary. For sure we will go there again. MUST TRY !!
