A. S.Old classics American diner. The old classics car museum is just next door to the diner so worth a day trip. Pancakes and chicken, waffles and chicken is what we ordered. The burgers looked really good as well.

I took my wife and my youngest today, lovely and attentive staff, especially during this delicate time we are in. Fantastic food, we ordered a breakfast burrito and Jukebox benny, with coffee and gold old Foxton Fizz Looks - the food was wonderful, very well prepared and presented.
Definitely excited to head back, there are items on the menu in eager to try! Will take my 2 older girls there so they can experience what we did.

J. P.Awesome experience. Went on a date with my niece who got the kids pancakes and myself the adults version. She thoroughly enjoyed her meal and the kids activities they have available. The vintage gumball dispenser was a particular highlight for her.
Great, friendly customer service too! Definitely a family friendly place, highly recommend.

F. A.A good authentic restaurant (or dining). Even if you do not visit the museum, definitely worth it. Very good food and even very good breakfast. If you will be sure to have a table, you can camp overnight at their car park ;-) Self-containing campers are allowed to stay overnight there. We have visited this restaurant several times.
R. S.Having experienced American Diners before, I was keen to enjoy the experience right here on Hamilton. The staff seemed sad and unenthusiastic and the food was underwhelming. There is so much potential here, maybe a slight injection of some fun and enthusiasm? Prices are good though...
T. S.Went here yesterday with a decent sized group. Place was also pretty busy at the time. Thought there might be a long wait for the food but it all came out at such a great pace. And its was so yummy ! I had the chicken burger, partner had a toasted sandwich with extras and kids also had a toastie. There was so much cheese ! It was great. We also got caramel banana shakes and they were delicious aswel (abit small for price, but yum). Was also happy to see a kids area, which was also grea.Would deffinitly visit again!

R. K.Had a very nice roast lunch here, Wednesday 21 July 2021 with a group of 60's plus people from Glenfield, North Shore, Auckland. Staff were friendly and happy. A good atmosphere prevailed in nice surrounding. Can recommend to all.
A. P.My first visit to this diner was pretty good. Interesting interior and good customer service. Enjoyed the coffee and slice. Going back to this place again to try the food.
R. M.Foods pretty standard, we shared a beef burger and had a side of onion rings. It's not bad by any means, it's also just not anything I'd ever talk about.
Drinks we had milkshakes, we had to go back two times to get enough flavour, otherwise you just couldn't taste it.
The service was good despite how busy it was when we arrived.
The place itself is the redeeming factor, if you love rockabilly and classic cars, this is why you would come here.

S. C.A little disappointing. Upgraded our milkshakes to thickshakes... and they were still milkshakes. Flavour was OK. Hamburgers were excellent, but expensive. Decor was great, however when you compare this place to Viv's Kitchen in Sanson (Ohakea), this place has huge potential. Especially with the fantastic museum within it.
D. H.Pretty disappointed to be waiting an hour at least for our meals, for 4 adults and 2 littlies. Gave up and asked for a refund after watching plates of meals coming out of the kitchen to serve a group who had just arrived. One of our group ended up asking for a cloth to wipe down our table, then she proceeded to go around wiping other tables, while we waited and waited. Maybe it would have made a difference if we were told we may have a long wait?
PS. Thank you for the response. Yes we gathered that they had booked ahead. It's just unfortunate that we couldn't wait any longer and had to leave to head to another event. However, this will not deter me, personally, from coming back. Jukebox Diner is still one of my favourite eating spots in Hamilton! !

The chicken and bacon filo was microwaved till soggy and it barely had chicken or bacon and mainly consisted of spinach. Next two we would get a breakfast as it looked like good value for money

H. M.The Jukebox Diner is a hidden gem. Loved every bit of it. The menu is very nice and the inside feels like a diner. Friendly staff and food tasted amazing and had to go 2 days in a row. Meals were done quickly and had no complaints. A place you must visit if going to Hamilton

We went for the first time which was on a public holiday and there was the usual public holiday surcharge but even with a reservation, our food did take a long time coming out and we noticed other diners waiting quite a while for their meals as well. May have been understaffed that day. The burgers were awesome! The chicken from the chicken waffles meal was dry. I'm going back again for the burgers and hoping to give back a better review. Would love to make this our regular family dine out place!

P. P.Kitted out like a 60s US diner this place perfectly fits with the car museum it shares a building with. The food is of a good standard and they serve large portions so you won't go hungry.

Bathrooms were clean and some staff were happier than others. Over all nothing too exciting to come back to.

The open hours aren't that long so make sure you get there at least 1 hour before closing to ensure the kitchen is still open. The pricing is OK, and time to get your food is good. The inside of the diner looks really good.

K.I had to try my first Chili Dog, while my wife had Chili Cheese Fries. I choose the Lime Milkshake and my wife had Hot Cherry Chocolate with cream and mini chunks of chocolate to wash our meals down.
An enjoyed lunch, a few more options to try next time.
With the waitress’s dressed also in the 50’s style it added to the experience.
T.Love this place, the food is good. Love the chicken burger but can sometimes. Especially be a bit dry. Maybe a few more items on menu would help too
