Exceptionally delightful experience We visited the Mediterranean Kitchen for lunch during the new year holidays. The physical appearance is colourful and inviting. Being all vegetarians, we were happy to see the variety of choices. We ordered a selection of dishes for sharing amongst us. The food was served very quickly. When the dishes arrived, it was a visual treat to watch them - so well presented and colourful. The food was delicious and well-balanced too and made for a satisfying and enjoyable lunch experience. It was only when we were paying the bill that we realized that we were looked after by Adem bey, the owner himself! Highly recommended - I will be happy to visit again!

Seriously amazing food! The mixed shish kebab is a must try and we added a side of halloumi (highly recommend). Authentic, generous portions, perfectly grilled meat, delicious flavours. Yum. Staff also add flair and are welcoming and attentive. Will be back for certain.

We had a great time tonight. Great tasting iskender, baba ghanoush and moussaka. I experienced food envy! I had iskender tonight which was excellent, and will definitely be back for moussaka and baba ghanoush. Great ambiance, friendly staff. Will recommend and will definitely visit again!!

The restaurant is located on the outside of the Centre Place shopping mall on Bryce Street. We parked on the road but friends went into the parking lot. We didn't have a reservation but were able to get a table outside and then move inside once there was space. The tiles along the walls were quite impressive. The menu was quite interesting and had a few items that looked unique. We shared the trio of dips and I had the stuffed eggplant. The food was quite nice. The eggplant was stuffed with veges and served with a side salad. I was also able to try some of the manti and that was also quite nice. It was a nice place to stop for some tasty food.

An absolute must if dining out in Hamilton. Really fantastic Greek and Turkish cuisine, beautifully fresh and so tasty. The hosts are very friendly and it was by far the best Greek/Turkish meal I’ve ever had in New Zealand. Highly recommended!

I finaly got to try sultans. We left valintines dinner plans to the last miniute. As we didnt book and the restaurant was quiet busy the staff were happy to seat me and my partner. After geting a full run down of then menu from thr waitress which was very helpful as its turkesh dinieing , we orderd. Shortly after drinks and starters arrived. Bread and dips was a real treat with some huge flavours !yum. Shortly after dinner arrived, i got Chicken shish on rice. The rice itself has so much flavour. The dish it self faultless. I definitly loved the hummus. I look foward to returining with more peopl3 to enjoy this hidden we gem in the heart of the city. :)

Decent food. Although for the price I know of a decent place a couple of streets over that do twice the size of the portion of ravioli for a extra 3 dollars. However my parents food was both decent portions for the price and they seemed to like them.

Gluten-free accommodation when possible. I requested the sea food platter with no breading--simply grilled and the seafood was delicious and gluten-free. The owner even recognized me when I walked in after 3 months and recalled his promise to prepare the seafood platter without breading. Excellent service and so nice to feel welcome to order in a way that suited my needs. Great establishment. And the server, Anna, made sure I received extra salad since I wasn't eating the bread. We have been here a couple of times recently. We will be back again before very long. We rather enjoyed the Greek/Turkish food, and the zero alcohol Effes beer (for the driver). Good portion size, enough but not too much, enough room for dessert. Very friendly service. The Turkish Delight is wonderful. Get some to take home!

A wonderful night on Hamilton, center city close to movies and bars the Mediterranean Kitchen offers fine dining with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were great, even though they were packed the food arrived promptly and hot, prices are very reasonable and although limited the wine selection was more than adequate. Take the time to pop in here and enjoy food with a difference. Parking available in the Centerplace car park next door.

First time going to Mediterranean kitchen. I would highly recommend this place. Everything was so fresh and it was an amazing change to the standard menu you find around Hamilton. The menu was full of dishes we have never tried before and that was in no way a bad thing. Even the kids menu was 10/10. The meal size was perfect and the food was filled with flavour. You can tell this business goes out of their way to buy fresh, authentic ingredients and not just the cheapest. Could not fault the service. It was nice to see in small business that the owner was the face of service. Really nice man with an obvious passion for his business. I'm not at all of person to leave reviews but this place I will go out of my way to recommend.

I've tried all the Turkish restaurants in Hamilton and I can say with confidence that this one is THE BEST Turkish restaurant in Hamilton. The food is original and so delicious. Yes sometimes it take time until you receive your order but trust me it's worth it. I always take my family and anyone visits me first time from overseas there and I never get disappointed. The quality of the food and cleanliness of the place is out standing. I always order Beef Iskender and Turkish Bread and Dips. The Mix Grill is also very nice. All in all, it won't disappoint you at all.

Menu is extensive and original. They didn't have a couple things we wanted (vegetable moussaka and tabbouli) but had alternate suggestions. There were numerous vegetarian options but few if any vegan entrees (none were labeled as such) as most seemed to involve cheese and/or yogurt. After our meal we spent a few minutes taking to the proprietor who was very friendly.

We had amazing early dinner here today after a big hike at Hakarimata Summit Trail. We are greeted by the lovely owner and recommend the best food on the menu. We ordered the different kinds of dips with breads for the entree, mixed grill meat with salad/bread/bulgur and Dolma for mains. The meats are flavourful and cooked perfectly for dessert we had baklava and donut with vanillice cream on the side. A hidden gem in Hamilton central and definitely a must try! 12/10 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Out of three Turkish restaurants I tried in Hamilton, this one is by far the best out of the three. Good "twisted" Turkish food, nice interior and staff are OK. On the negative side, they keep forgetting to serve dairy-free dishes to my wife when she specifically ask for that to be done. So if you're vegan, make sure they understand your needs.
