I liked the atmosphere and the smell of the pizzas getting out of the ovens. We ordered half chicken and half cheese and it was a great combination. It is really large and fed our family of 5. I think it is a great value for the quality and service. It took only 15 min to be ready, which passed really fast while we watched some basketball. Staff was kind and efficient. Will come back soon.

Delicious Pizza. Quality is one of the best I've had in NZ. I had a bit of a misadventure on a busy day when I tried to order online. I ordered online and the payment was processing and I get a pop up that says they closed the store due to running out of cheese. Payment went through but I couldn't tell if they received my order. I called 5-6 times and never got an answer. I also tried emailing. I had no choice but to drive up there. I had to park two blocks away and after waiting in line for a bit I told the guy at the counter the situation. They did not receive the order and was told the payment should bounce back and if it doesn't to get in touch. All staff was super nice about it. The only thing I didn't like is I had to order again and then wait a bit longer. It was a 2 hour ordeal trying to get dinner. I was hangry near the end. A coupon or discount would have been nice. Something to remedy no one answering the phone so I didn't have to go up there or carry 2 huge pizzas two blocks. I would've opted for McDonald's but I was there and waited so long anyhow. **Update, received communication from management and they were eager to check in on the issue and I received a refund for the double charge. No free pizza lol but the prompt communication and customer service was much appreciated!!

Big shot out to the manager and the team. It was the best sals I had in long time. Their customer service is top notch. Even the store is super busy, they didn’t loss the enthusiasm and smile on their faces. I had to wait for more the 15 mints but it was worth it.

Thought I'd give a better review. Went for dinner with my partner, was my first time. The buffalo pizza was huge and so tasty! Garlic knots are delicious, could do with a little more garlic ;) Will definitely recommend and will definitely be back! You guys rock!! <3

I love Sal's. Great pizza, getting a bit pricey now though. I know it's not really their fault but they usually run out of Garlic knots pretty fast too, so they're not always available.

Great authentic new york style pizza. Bit more expensive than normal pizza takeaways, however you're getting 100% new york imported ingredients which creates an experience worth paying the extra dollar for. The pizza is great whichever you choose, and the sides like the garlic knots or pepperoni rolls are also awesome. There are chilli and herb shakes on standby to spice up your pizza if you want a bit of extra flavour. I'd highly recommend this place, I only rate 4 stars as occasionally my food won't be completely heated when it comes out which you won't notice until you're halfway down the street and is too late to walk back.

Went to Sal's to get some food for the missus and I, and it felt like coming home. I grew up around pizzerias in California and walking in felt like I was a teenager again. The staff was friendly and helpful, and when they messed up our order, by accident, they offered us some free mozzarella sticks, which were absolutely delicious! The pizza itself was amazing, and well worth the price. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

Yum yum! Well worth the wait. This little pizza place with character was busy when 6 of us stopped in for lunch. I wasn't sure how filling it would be so I bought the Little Neck Combo for $17. It includes 2 slices of your choice of pizza, 3 knots, Sal's Sauce, and a can of Coke... Omgosh, I should've gone for the Sal's Classic for $13, which includes 1 slice of your choice of pizza, 3 knots, Sauce and a can of Coke. Make no mistake, these slices of pizza are monstrous, tasty and filling. Saw another customer with the cheesecake. It looks delish. I will definitely be trying that next time. Defs recommend this cute lil place.

However, their daily promotion could be reviewed as I do not find their deals are attractive and can offer more for customers. Still They totally deserve 4 star! Keep up the good work guys!

I absolutely love Sals! The pizza is honestly some of the best pizza I've had and the garlic knots are bomb. The staff is quick and friendly. Was helped by a staff member by the name of Matthew and his customer service was seriously on point. Amazing personality, charming, so friendly, made a mean as pizza, and quite easy on the eyes as well ;) A must go to place. Will be returning soon!

Fantastic pizza... great slices yumm! Love the thin perfect crust. Always happy with the cheese :) rated one star less because of the wings. They were dry and hard. Sadly Not a fan of the sauce either. Ordered the wings twice now and haven't had one good thing about them. Will go back for the pizzas though. Wish the wings were better.....

Overall, Sal's is great. I don't want to admit how many times I've been there, but this week was extra special. I'm searching for the guy who served me pizza at Sal's last Saturday. He was extremely nice, attractive, and had a sexy British accent. Him: "Hello, how are we doin' tonight?" Me: "I'm feeling great!" Him: "Good to see, good to hear" *smiles dreamily* After this exchange I embarrassed myself by dropping my pizza on the floor...and I left in a hurry. To the mystery man: if you see this, please message me! I've been into Sal's again and again, but with no luck finding you. On top of this, every time I go I can't resist buying garlic knots; they're so good!!! This is the best picture I have to remember you by. If anyone recognizes him, please let me know his name.

We usually order online and their always on time except for today. Apparently it’s just been sitting on the bench all along! There were a couple of customers who waited longer than we did and had to complain (ordered online and in store guest). Also an apology would be nice but they talked to me like nothing happened. Regardless pizza still great!

Love Sals, delicious pizza every time we've been. It's our favorite place for pizza, I would recommend it to anyone who likes New York style pizza. They also have other American sides that are delicious. They have soda, beer and water for drinks. Also, they've just started selling Ben and Jerry's ice cream.

We used to live near the Auckland K Rd store for many years and loved their pizzas. Tried the Hamilton store recently, was disappointed. Lacking toppings, not enough sauce and cheese so the flavour isnt that rich. The texture for the base and crust weren't as good too. Still tasty but theres room for improvements.

So I've been doing some very authentic critiquing over the last couple of months and I went into soles pizzas last night the pizza is very very nice however one of the guys who I think was the cook was very very rude to me and has no people skills he asked me to step out behind the red line while I was helping the woman get pizza into the box after she fumbled with it and needed a hand but otherwise the pizza tasted nice you can buy pizza slices by the slice for five bucks each or a whole pizza for $32 and it's very very big
