S.This used to be our favorite go to many years ago. The staff are friendly, the shops clean and lovely atmosphere for a fish n chip shop. I think I just got there before closing and it was a fish we had never tried. It was not good sadly.

L.An absolute gem of a chippy. Our family have been coming here for over 18 years, and everything served here is just quality! Excellent selections of fresh fish as well as seafood thats hard to find elsewhere. Pricing is also reasonable, and the staff are always friendly and very helpful. Also can get very busy some nights so there can be long waits but it is well worth it!

B.My absolute apologies Seafood Bazaar, you are correct I made the wrong comment for your shop with the kina and baby paua for that I am sorry, however I did not like how thick and greasy your fish, mussels and oysters were, I feel you did not drain food well enough nor had the oil at the right temperature and perhaps your oil may have needed to be changed.
R.Never been let down, great service and friendly staff seafood is always delicious. For those who complain about the kina been discolored, that's how kinas are ya bloody nob heads the darker the better. A+++++

Last few times chips have been soggy. Only 5 minute drive from my house so I haven’t left them in there for too long. I think it might be the cardboard and thick paper. Just some feedback for you !
A.Always well stocked with knowledgeable and friendly staff. A must for Xmas kaimoana
R.The good: the fish is excellent and the portions are huge.
The bad: the chips are pretty average quality. The portion again is large but I'd only want a huge portion of average food if I'm feeding a bunch of teenagers on a budget.
The Ugly: the burgers are not good at all. Floury soft soggy bun, way too much salad. They made the odd decision to put the cheese between the lettuce and tomato so that there are pieces of cold shredded cheese falling out while you try to eat it. The meat patty was flavourless.
If I go again I'll order fish only and skip the rest.

E.It was honestly close to a 4.5 review only for the fact that its not always consistently amazing.
The fact that it is really really good is a 4 on uts own. Fresh fish, good people and great takeaways are all great merits. But like all fish and chip places, sometimes the chips are over done. Sometimes the fish is underdone. These things are all just 1 in 50 descrepancies but it is my small complaint.
J.One would think this would be the location for the freshest fish, in my experience of going there 3 weeks in a row. Each time the fish was very watery, flaky and would fall apart before getting out of the pan.
Hopefully it was just a coincidence, but honestly I've found countdown to have competitive pricing and superior fresh quality fish.

Sometimes fresh mussels are mixed with old ones ready to expire. Now I'll bring a knife and eat them on the spot to check there good from now on. Yuhh

Ask what the fish of the day is and if you don't like it choose from all the fresh fish and they will cook it for $1.
They also do great burgers at a really good price. I always get a bacon and egg burger with pineapple for only $6.50 and the meat patties are made fresh. Yum!

J.If you haven't yet experienced the most luscious fish pie and smoked salmon lasagna, possibly on this planet, if you haven't yet chosen your own piece of fish from an extensive slab and had it cooked to perfection and served with chips as you dream about them, if you haven't yet known where to buy rawena or fried bread and pick out your own live lobster then you really need to go to Seafood Bazaar! You will never call these takeaways "greasies".
