Ordered a Chicken Kottu Parotta via UberEats. Wowwee, amazing dish! Tastes just like as if it was in south India 🤤. Big portion- it lasted me for two meals. Also ordered a rose milk, but tasted as if it was just strawberry milk from a carton.

Ordered the Chicken biryani thali and was not disappointed at all. The thali consisted of biryani rice with had an amazing taste, chicken curry which tasted like it came straight from the south of India, the fried chicken pieces were good, salad and raita were good too. Overall great variety, taste, aroma, quantity and quality for the amount you pay for it. Really filling for one person. Good packaging too. Will definitely order again.

The Mysore Masala Dosa is rich in flavour--especially the masala chutney thats added to the dosa. The dosa is crispy, light and together with the potato and sambar, it's a lavish meal. The other dishes served are also tasty.

I go to this place very often as they have the best South Indian dishes like idly, dosa, vada etc.. service is great and staff are pleasant and friendly. If you miss Tamil Nadu cuisine and would like to have some delicious food this is the place to go.

Second time getting food from here after trying the mutton biryani the first time which was very good. Second time was a miss though. Chilli paneer was undercooked. Medu vadas had whole urad grains in it in each bite. Shame but definitely have potential to do better.

I usually go there once in fortnight. The foods are really Awesome. I have tried all the foods over there and the taste are pretty decent. My Favourite foods are Chicken Kottu , Briyani thali, Dosa and Chicken Rice. I strongly recommend to try these item. I literally felt like eating in one of the best hotels in Chennai, India.

Bala's kitchen catered for my wedding breakfast and lunch. The menu consisted of variety of food (all without onion and garlic) which suited our needs as the venue was a temple. The North Indian curries in the menu were surprisingly amazing considering they were made without onion and garlic. Saying that "the food was delicious" would be an understatement. I wish, I could give more stars for how happy the guests and we were with the food. The pineapple kesari was beyond delicious. I highly recommend Bala's kitchen. Thanks you Bala's kitchen for your amazing services and catering for our wedding day. :)

Excellent food and personalized service. I ordered food for myself which was just great. I dont think in all my years in Hamilton I have enjoyed eating at any Indian restaurant consistently. Bala's also catered for my friend's wedding breakfast and lunch at the Balaji Temple. It was outright delicious and mouth watering. They specially made all that food without onion and garlic and it was amazing. Breakfast consisted of upma, medu vada, sambar, chutney and masala tea was out of this world, it transported me right back to home. Lunch had veg pulao, raita, south indian paratha, mattar paneer, mix potato curry, papad, gobi 65, rice kheer and pineapple kesari. Each and every morsel of every item was delightful and we definitely keep going back for more. Keep an eye for any specials they have. I have enjoyed their Pongal, Idli, dal vadas, lamb chops curry, chicken Keena curry, fish fry, etc. I could go on but I want everyone to try it for themselves. Don't be fooled by the size of the place as great things come in little packages. Even if you wait a little longer, it's worth it. Keep up the amazing work Bala's Kitchen. Really easy, quick service. With some good banter every now and then. The food itself is probably the best indian food I've had outside of India itself. You can feel that it's made with love and a real attention to the indian palate. I'd suggest this place to anyone looking for relatively cheap, yet heartily filling comfort food.

Had a fantastic dinner on Wednesday night. The Butter Chicken, Mutton Curry, Chicken 65, Mutton Biryani & Prawn Biryani were all delicious but my favourite dishes were the Veg Dosa and Chilli chicken - amazing thank you! The kids especially loved the mango lassis.

The food is really good at this place. Gives you the experience of an authentic Tamil Nadu(South Indian state) cuisine. Prices are very reasonable and the quantity more than sumptuous. Recommend this place to anybody who would love to try this cuisine.

Bottom line, I could not identify more than half of what we ate and I intend to go back and try more from the menu. The vegetable thali (google it, I did while we were eating) was a bunch of delicious things. Don't ask me what the things were as I have no idea. I am neither a gourmand nor do I have any expertise in southern Indian cuisine and so my opinion may be way off the mark. But, here it is, the food, particularly the briyani, had a complexity that I think came from using a variety of spices rather than just going for hot. We had vegetable thali, chicken briyani and parrata with chicken curry. It cost $42 and would comfortably fed four of us.

I get my take away for my family every week and for the weekends when my friends and loved ones come over. We all absolutely love the taste, quantity and the price. I have tasted almost all his dishes and I can vouch that Bala cooks and serves his customers with passion. My family's favourite dishes are South Indian Parotta, Chicken noodles, Egg Fried rice, Chicken Biriani and Chicken Pakoda. Bala's kitchen is the BEST in town for good South Indian food. No doubt about it!!!
